2761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of your first contact with BTC? on: May 29, 2021, 10:50:51 AM
The first time I came into contact with BTC, I felt that there was little difference between e-payment and BTC. However, with the gradual understanding, e-payment and BTC are becoming more and more different.
In essence, electronic payment is the circulation of legal currency in one or some countries, while BTC is the circulation all over the world( If every country agrees)
Your e-transaction are settlled by a third party which is your bank and act as an intermediary and can always block your funds if you have not valid proof for your income source. But on the other side you can globally make transaction with Bitcoin without any third party and low fees which is not the case with fiat currencies.

Government can change denomination of notes, can ban your funds, confiscate your money in banks but they can't control your funds in non-custodial wallets and can't ban Bitcoin at any cost. They want to make joint effort to shut down internet which is not possible in any case as World could not function in its absence but still the offline transaction will can be conducted on bitcoin network. So that's btc for you.

If you actually know the usage of Bitcoin then you would not have compared it with the legal fiat of any country as they both are different in nature though similar use.
2762  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: May 29, 2021, 10:35:09 AM
The ongoing discussion about data theft is actually a concern, indeed. I trust roobet because of the kind of promotions they do, the name they have created within such a small time, the kind of support they provide but even all that accounts for nothing because data theft can happen at any time and like mentioned even FB and other platforms were hacked so no one is prone to it.
-snip-
The intentional sale of KYC data is, in my opinion, very rarely the case (apart from the countless ICOs in 2017, of course, that demanded already scanned passports for a handful of coins - and made oodles of money doing so, of course).

Hacks or leaks by company employees are much more of a problem here. A site that collects validated KYC data from its customers is automatically a very lucrative target, and the smallest mistakes can lead to data being siphoned off, as we saw with Ledger last year, for example. However, I assume that Roobet does not store the data itself but uses a KYC service here. In Europe, companies that store such data must comply with very strict guidelines, which is rather only possible for very large companies with thousands of employees (banks, insurance companies, ...) without too high costs. I guess that similar requirements apply in other countries as well.
Sharing of personal information on the dark web of players is always a concern for many gamblers as they want to remain anonymous in crypto world due to certain restrictions imposed by the government on this industry. And as said by other members KYC can be done with some other account also but it also has certain cons and there is proper thread discussion about such topics on this forum. But in actual if you don't want to reveal your Indentity then there are certain casinos which do not require any KYC so you can simply register there and enjoy gambling experience.
2763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: $5000 to $1 million in 3 years and little over 2000 bets! on: May 28, 2021, 04:53:53 PM
I posted regarding this before back in 2018. Many said couldn't be done but i followed the methodology and the picks religiously and here we are. Spreadsheet shows all the picks in the log sheet and the dashboard shows the summary. Settings sheet has details on the money management. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15CSvrT3osJos4P-Fni102v5fvZqaqm8Q/edit#gid=644533306  Only obstacle that you will run into is you will make enemies with books and majority of the books will limit your and shut you down. If you cannot get accounts in pinnacle and betcris/bookmaker you wont be able to get far as million.
If you are determined and possess that skills to turn you funds into 50-100x or whatever your goal is you can definitely achieve it along with risk taking capability.Same has happened with @OP and if has actual won that much amount with $5k to million dollars in just 3 years that's commendable work on his behalf. Moreover it's good to see that he has maintained spreadsheet for that and sharing with the other here who can learn some new bankroll methods to follow to win huge if they are his own.So congratulations to you man for your 2000 bets million dollars win!! This inspires us more and promote our gambling taste even more in hope of winning some large portion someday keeping in mind your funds limitations.
2764  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Businesses banning the vaccine. on: May 28, 2021, 04:32:03 PM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNhbm2yHdTI

We know that vaccinated people have weakened immune systems, and therefore they are more likely to be infectious, or sick anyway. These hairdressers are banning vaccinated customers, as they claim that they are not covered for disease spreading under their public health liability insurance.
So who do they allow to enter the shops the infected ones who have been not vaccinated or what? Vaccination process is carried out to boost your immune system to fight against the virus cells and turn them harmless upto a certain point as we not successful in making complete capacity vaccine to fight with virus. But your claim of vaccinated people getting infected is lame and without any proof.Speaking of business they are actually afraid to come into contact at this time but if they want to regain their position they need to stop making excuses and have proper sanitization before any task management. We don't know actually when all this will end and World would come back to normal routine so we need to make compromises until that and stop spreading fake news.
2765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Horrible day in History of Bitcoin on: May 28, 2021, 04:16:53 PM
After 13 March 2020, This is Another Horrible Day In History Of Bitcoin

THE DAY I CAN'T FORGET
19 - May -2021
The Black Wednesday
You get panic when price dips = your loss

You take FUD seriously and all the conspiracies by the market whales = your loss

You behave like its first time we have seen crash or price dumps like in 2017 = your loss

You don't invest at these dips and cry afterwards like regretting not investing at $30k then $40k then $50k and similar and at ATH you feel we miss the boat then it's definitely your mistake and loss.

In all of the above statement those who get trap in any of the factor have lost more to the whales as they accumulate huge btc everytime we see a crash. This market cycle keeps on repeating with these types of thread creations.
2766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Degree in gambling? on: May 28, 2021, 04:04:01 PM
Hey gamblers,

Gambling is a fun way to spend your free time. Right?
But have you ever wondered what it would be like to work at the casino?

We have a new article in our blog about gambling schools. In those schools, you can become a professional certified dealer or croupier and acquire knowledge to climb the career ladder. If you’re interested, you can read the full article here.

How about you, would you be interested in having a degree in the gambling industry?

Cheers,
Karl from Bitcasino
Speaking personally I not pro active on gambling sites and just have fun around weekends with my seperate budget allocated for gambling purpose so I don't think I am going to enroll for course or getting a degree to have a particular job at any casino. But yes it's good to see that you are providing some opportunity to the ones who need the job and train them with some pre-skills and provide them exposure to the market.Try giving them some real projects with visits to casino if possible under internship which would really boost their working skills on job.For me I am just in for entertainment purpose but best of luck to you for your journey ahead.
2767  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long until the "we're in a bear market" people admit they were wrong? on: May 27, 2021, 05:58:33 PM
Lots of people saying the bull market is over and we're in for a crypto winter. I think this is plainly obviously not true for numerous reasons.

How long until these people realize we're still in a bull market and market sentiment shifts from "oh no bear market" to "oh that was just a major correction"?
If they look at price graphs from the beginning in 2010 they can realise that we are always in bull market from the starting. But what can we accept from immature market traders who just shift their sentiments from one to another and keep on speculating wrong prices prediction.Every market has bear and bull so is the case with cryptos but you need to more calm in this crypto world.Another ATH is going to be achieved this year crossing $64k mark also and then they will be like we missed investing at $40k or even lower.

Congratulations to you mate on winning $200 on your trading competition and it's really good to see our community of gamblers taking share in profits of all these competitions started by all casinos as promotional events and checking your gambling skills.Keep going in the similar manner.
2769  Economy / Economics / Re: The Central Digital currencies will make monetary policy more difficult on: May 27, 2021, 04:55:14 PM
When a crisis arrives, central banks usually say that they will do whatever it takes to solve it, which usually means ridiculous amounts of money being printed a large amount of debt being bought. The traditional banking system "multiplies" the effect as a result of the fiduciary system (you can lend more than you have).

With the new digital central currencies such as yuan, euro, dollar,... anyone could potentially hold an account on a central bank skipping the intermediaries. I think that this will have a negative effect on the ability to cope with further crisis by monetary policies. The risk should not be ignored.
Why would banks loose control over something built for their Functioning? You are just getting confused among the two statements but in actual digital currency will act similar to digital payments which can be cleared with your respective banks. There will always be bank interaction like every transaction will go through the banking system and they can have control over your funds.Banks fear decentralisation and they never gonna let it use in their own CDBC which is actual point of these all digital currency for banks. They are digital form of your fiat used for daily transaction at every pos.
2770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the biggest crowdfunded bankroll investment casinos now? on: May 27, 2021, 04:34:09 PM
I've been out of the loop for a bit on what bankroll-investment casinos are out there are the the most trusted and biggest ones for awhile now, what is out there (aside from Bustabit/Bustadice)?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.newsbtc.com/press-releases/invest-bitcoins-bitcoin-casino/%3famp

It is not under my suggestion list or recommendation but I have just given the link for you to have better clarification and it is providing with Bitcoin casino.us and you can have a look at this and after proper research you can proceed any further.
2771  Other / Archival / Re: The community created a petition: Elon Musk, sell your bitcoin on: May 27, 2021, 04:20:24 PM
The people/investors has given him this power to manipulate the market and potraying him as the future predictor and made investment on his tweets. He was ruling the market like a king telling lies and spreading rumours for his personal benefits but all this hype is now in vain and he is no longer in position to make false tweets because they don't matter now so what's the fun of this game.Making tokens like fuckelon or stopelon is just like making some other shit memecoins again in the market which have no utility in future and will crash. So best is to ignore hime in any means of crypto world.

He will not be selling any Bitcoins at instant because he might be against bitcoin mining showing himself as environmentalist but not against holding. He knows how much Tesla has gained with $1.5 billion of investment in just 4-6 months and what will be future profits. So relax about that situation also.
2772  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to be a bookie on: May 26, 2021, 04:45:32 PM
Don't expect any answer from him.

Just looking at his post history, there's no sign of any reply to those threads that he has made to advertise that website and service that he does. That's really a type of poor marketing that there's no answering for such queries that should help him/them gain a book sale.

I also visited their website and tried to ask their customer support about the quotes, but they said that we must send them a 'free consultation' request, but I was not interested in doing that. They should keep all things transparent instead of making their service buyer do the hassle of first reaching them and then knowing the prices. It is not only poor marketing, but a cheap way to advertise a website that itself isn't too active and we don't know who this guy is (is he from the team or just a fanboy/affiliate).

They don’t have enough funds to do marketing in the forum. Neither they are interested in answering queries asked by the visitors.
They just want spoon fed. They want each and every member should buy their service without knowing any details about the service.
Rather if they could have made a good ANN design with all proper information then I could bet that more people have shown interest in the service.
Nevertheless these shill posters won’t stop and better we should ignore them.
And yes don’t pay them a single penny without doing prior investigation of their service.
They might be having any fund related issues but replying to clients queries on the forum and creating an ANN thread about their website won't cost them much? And exactly how will one directly start a business with you until customer satisfaction and transparency is provided about any particular working instead of submitting personal details to contact them via mail or other sources. You are providing customer service and not responding to them in return sounds quite weirdo?Provide some more details to increase your Customer base and have trust mechanism and proper chat bots or support team to respond.
2773  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what are you investment strategy on: May 26, 2021, 04:25:50 PM
i have tried trading and discovered that i loose my self whenever the market make huge moves . i sold quite early at any bull market and dump at any instant of the bear market.
So whenever the market is bullish or bearish you try to cash out your profits at an early stage without any technical analysis and when it's bearish you panic sell at that moment which is your problem. You get puzzled at both the stages which are sign of panic trader but you need to read the market trend first in bull run but in bearish just try to hold only.

Quote
i find it difficult to control my emotions. since this year, i choose to move into farming, pools and it has been wonderful.
It's not the case with only you but most of the new and non experienced trader in the market who lost control of nerves whenever there is FUD in the market or we witness normal correction period which causes crash situation in the market and they loose all the funds and then claim btc is bubble.Keep emotions separate from your trading journey which might keep you survival possible in this highly volatile crypto market.
2774  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: May 26, 2021, 04:10:38 PM
Well, when I wasn't handling slots well, I used to bet $ 1 up front and lose really fast, which caused me a lot of frustration because I was wondering how people could win so much at slots.
Don't trust anything we share for the win, yes you see the win but don't know how much we are rekt.

As slot player, I also discuss on messager with my friend too If everyone thinks we always win is not really true. Do you think everyone will share the lose? Grin In the end about gambling the house will always win.
Yes exactly what players see from fellow players or casino is the lucrative wins with small bets and cashing out huge profits but they often miss or try to ignore the lost bets and it's the main thing they miss out.You can always check your win loss ratio and in most cases loss ratio is slightly higher than win ratio which implies how hard it is to hit a certain multiplier in slot games.Nobody is perfect and you lose a lot of times but they do count against your win as the difference between both of them will determine your actual profits(apart from fees).
2775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mining Council on: May 26, 2021, 04:02:38 PM
Leading North American mining companies (such as ArgoBlockchain, Galaxy Digital, HiveBlockchain etc..) will form a Bitcoin Mining Council , the aim being to reduce the industry's greenhouse gas emissions. Such  initiative  was  announced after their weekend meeting with Elon Musk.

Should  this Council be considered as  Musk's attempt to rehabilitate himself  in the eyes of the community or he really wants to help?
He is not an environmentalist or social worker but a businessman whose motive is to earn profits by any means. His latest two tweets show that he is in support of renewable Bitcoin mining and choose crypto over fiat in order to show his fake support to the market. He intiated million dollar project for best carbon technology and in the same way he should be contributing towards mining research process to bitcoin miners also. What is the fun of appreciation if you have not done any contribution and still wants to credit yourself. He must check how much Electricity Tesla plants are using and how materials required for electric battery are extracted from the ground first and then play blame game on Bitcoin.
2776  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is the fastest asset to hit 1 trillion marketcap on: May 25, 2021, 10:46:42 AM
Sharing another interesting infographic from visualcapitalist.com

https://www.visualcapitalist.com/bitcoin-is-the-fastest-asset-to-reach-a-1-trillion-market-cap/

as we can see from the data above, Microsoft took 44 years to reach 1 trillion market cap, while Bitcoin took only 12 years!

Unfortunately, Bitcoin could not sustain such prices for long, and now the total market cap is about 650 billion USD. ( 1 trillion marketcap is about 56K USD)
Anyway, that is an impressive milestone for Bitcoin!

Yes it was the fastest assest to reach $1 trillion market cap in period of just 12 years while other major companies doesn't stand close to it.But what another major fact which makes this data more interesting is that it is still not mainstream, not accepted by all and have 1-2% global percentage using Bitcoin but still this has been achieved which really surprised me.So imagine about the time when it will be accepted by all and it will stand on top with highest market cap. This was possible with all the support and fight against FUD's from real btc supporter's.Soon to the moon.
2777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the Best coin in 2021 on: May 25, 2021, 10:20:50 AM
Hello Guys, can you tell me which is the best coin in 2021 to take maximum profit and gain?? Plz give your opinion
The coins suggested by other users are based on their priorities which can differ from yours so it's best to study the market first and then invest your money in any coin you want.If you look at the market you will find that many investors gain huge profits from doge and Shiba but do they have any utility or project development approach for long term price surge? But if you are looking for some potential coins then as said always btc is is good option but budget allocation is the problem. You need to specify:

1) Your Budget Requirements?
2)Short term profits or Long term?
3)Main purpose investment or used as transaction?

So it's better to have a look at the market first and do R&D then invest your funds wisely as they can be vanished in blink of eye if invested in wrong or any shitcoin.
2778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet365 just achieved a big milestone. on: May 25, 2021, 10:10:57 AM

Well congratulations! What are your thoughts on this ?
The online casino player base has grown by significant number in this pandemic period and this has benefited the casino owners a lot and same has happened with one of the oldest British casino Bet365 which you can say is very famous among mass for gambling experience and e-sports.It was matter of time that we have discussed this topic past month where she got $598 million in paycheck as highest paid CEO in British history.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5327164.0

The house always have a margin and with increased bets their net profits always tend to rise. Moreover gambling is legal in UK which further pushes the business growth and people enjoy these types of experience. The hope of getting huge wins and profits among players is main strategy of these casinos. But who knows a casino owner could be in top 20 richest person list.In coming year we will see boost to Crypto Gambling industry as well.
2779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im Surprisd btc still alive on: May 25, 2021, 09:51:44 AM
So you are trying to make comparison among btc and ETH which are used for different purposes like bitcoin can be used to transfer funds but on the other side eth blockchain allows dapps and smart contract to be deployed on Ethereum blockchain which is in different way from Bitcoin created by Vitalik.Bitcoin provides you security and decentralisation feature not like some coins with centralized authority and unlimited supply which can be manipulated. If you have technical knowledge of Bitcoin then you should know how private and public keys are derived from elliptic curve multiplications and what protocols are taken into consideration. For normal people like you Bitcoin is just a normal currency but who knows how transaction take place in backend already are familiar with its utility. You need to check why most exchanges use btc as reserve and it is used as common trading pair among BTC/USD and then you will know what it's utility.
2780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoins are backed by Bitcoin? on: May 24, 2021, 06:13:04 PM
So I am a newbie and I always had this question in my mind why all altcoins are backed with BTC because at times like these altcoins are the most affected one there are some really great altcoins out there but due to this correction we can see a massive drop in those coins and I don't think it is fair to other coins that because of only one single coin they also see a massive drop.

I am saying again I am just a newbie who is trying to understand these market.

Thank you
There are certain reasons that why altcoins follow the Bitcoin rally which you need to understand:

- Bitcoin was first decentralised currency of its type built on POW mechanism and network is secured my miners so investors have faith on Bitcoin and want to invest in it on top basis. So whenever Bitcoin prices fall investors cash out from other alts also.

- Bitcoin is easily traded pair for BTC/USD and most of the exchanges don't allow for direct altcoin buying and you first have to convert your funds into Bitcoin and then exchange it for your prefered altcoins so it is directly related to price.

- There are many in market which are hard fork of Bitcoin like Bitcoin Cash and their price is relative to its growth somehow.

- Most Exchanges use Bitcoin as reserve currency as it is easily acceptable and most preferred Cryptocurrency so they maintain reserve with respect to altcoins also so whenever there is price dips it affect altcoin rally.
