2761  Economy / Lending / Re: lottoPool looking for .5btc loan until payday Tuesday, June 4th. on: June 03, 2013, 12:29:45 AM
Grats on the successful payback! I certain didn't expect this, given that you requested a loan just a few hours after you registered. I think this is the first time in the history of the forum I've ever seen this happen  Cheesy (woops I meant this for your other thread, but you get the idea)
2762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoins become illegal? on: June 02, 2013, 03:13:16 AM
Bitcoin itself won't become illegal. But governments will nickel and dime to death any business openly accepting Bitcoin as payment.
2763  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling $110 mp on: June 01, 2013, 05:24:26 PM
Did this ever happen?
2764  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan given to LottoPool on: May 31, 2013, 08:22:24 PM
LOL

This wasn't a loan. This was a DONATION.
2765  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.05 on: May 30, 2013, 04:34:25 PM
We seriously need a Donations section, separate from Lending, for BTC requests that will obviously not be paid back.
2766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin-Qt / bitcoind 0.8.2 (final) available on: May 29, 2013, 09:36:57 PM
Awesome! I'm looking forward to upgrading when I get home. Thanks, Gavin.
2767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top 50 Most Trafficked BitCoin Sites on: May 29, 2013, 09:26:46 PM
This site is getting blocked for malware. Anybody else seeing anything? (I have JS turned off just in case).
2768  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [EDU] How to spot a scammer (Read this before doing any transactions!) on: May 29, 2013, 05:46:11 PM
The number of "old" members scamming seems to be much higher than newbs scamming. I have been scammed by a so called "veteran (Hero Member)" of this forum and I detected 3 more "old member" scammers in just a day of posting in the Marketplace. This forum should have a much better feedback/trust system as right now it seems out of 10 members , 9 are trying to scam (account age no bar)

No it isn't -- trust me, I've been watching the activity for a LONG time. 99% of all scams are from brand new members (usually less than 3 months old). Occasionally you'll see a 2011 or early 2012 member try to pull off a scam, like Liberty Payout. A number of us have been calling him out from day 1 since he got out of newbie jail, but for some reason he never got a scammer tag.
2769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fastcoin - FST - The Fastest coin so far in the market - is launched!! on: May 29, 2013, 04:12:26 AM
WTF is up with all these coins that merely shorten the block solve time. Reminds me of "7-Minute Abs".
2770  Economy / Lending / Re: [EDU] How to spot a scammer (Read this before lending your coins!) on: May 29, 2013, 03:25:04 AM
No, that's not true.  Sad I for one read this thread regularly, and I'm sure any newbies with half a brain will do so too.

John, is it possible to give edit privs to multiple people for a given thread? I barely have time for the forum with my schedule at work basically doubling. Now I'm relegated to browsing from my phone and it's a PITA to copy/paste on a phone.
2771  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a loan of 0.02 BTC on: May 28, 2013, 02:19:56 AM
Still need the loan?

Read my thread, 420. ^.^

how does this affect the OP and this loan.....

It's not for the OP. It's for anybody considering loaning to him.
2772  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where is the cool, Bitlane at? on: May 26, 2013, 03:54:35 PM
Maybe pirate sued him for all that "defamation".

If you check trendonshavers.com is now offline.

According to web archive it used to point to here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitcoin_Savings_and_Trust

Here is the 10 April 2013 last screen:
http://web.archive.org/web/20130410130754/http://trendonshavers.com/

More likely that Bitlane finally got his payout.
2773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin form a freedom fighters army? on: May 26, 2013, 12:31:54 PM
Bitcoin already has an army, and its not your personal one.
2774  Economy / Lending / Re: [Completed] 0.5 BTC Loan on: May 26, 2013, 04:13:46 AM
Cool deal. Thanks for making good on your end, Wardrick.

Fixed my initial post to warn people of virus.

Thanks! I'll go back and edit out my original reply.

All these users gave favorable replies, and all are new users. I'd be careful for possible scams from these guys in the future.

I would certainly be interested in the chain of logic that leads you to that conclusion.

No answer, huh?

I've been involved with bitcoin since Q! of'11 - apparently longer than you.  I've (under this user account)  made several donations to projects:  thefounder, fellowtraveller, and etc.  I've never asked anyone for anything, and have been as helpful as possible to the noobs.

And you have the fucking goddamn gall to accuse me of being a potential scammer?  Not even a scammer, but some kind of Minority Report someday scammer?

You fucking piece of shit.

Let's see...

1. OP posts a link to a site that tries to infect the viewers computer with who-knows-what.
2. You vouch for that link.
3. I post a warning for people to use caution when/if dealing with those who vouched for aforementioned link.

But yeah, I can't possibly imagine the chain of logic that would lead anybody to believe you were shilling for the OP.
2779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Germany's Adaption To Bitcoin *AMAZING* on: May 25, 2013, 01:49:29 AM
That Tomatocage motherfucker can kiss my ass.  Honest people make honest mistakes - people who want power over others just hurt people to gain power.  I've read his bullshit 'How to Spot a Scammer', and he's a goddamn imbecile.

As for the link, I didn't notice.  I disable Java.

LOL

Esputame en la leche de tu puta madre, cocksucker,

Classy
2780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Germany's Adaption To Bitcoin *AMAZING* on: May 25, 2013, 01:32:45 AM
Tomatocage needs to change his signature "how to spot a scammer", because he is obviously too stupid to tell.  His way is to accuse everyone in a large dragnet.  Lol

That probably sounded a lot better in your head.
