2761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a virus to humanity, just another thing to manipulate us. on: March 09, 2015, 06:35:44 PM
bitcoin is not a mathematicalvirus, but a mathematical benefits, since it fight the real virus, which is  the "fiat money"
This is the correct way to see it. Bitcoin is a natural response towards an aggressor (fiat scam system).
2762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are some ways you can think bitcoin won't succeed? on: March 09, 2015, 05:14:35 PM
Bitcoin will succeed no matter what. All the obstacles for Bitcoin are ways to prove Bitcoin's resilience. Bitcoin's ultimate fate is succeed since there are no other alternatives to the fraud we live in.
2763  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: In 2015, faucets are bad for bitcoin on: March 09, 2015, 05:11:10 PM
Faucets give people bitcoin to experiment with.
This. I started playing with bitcoin wallets thanks to faucets. If it wasnt for faucets i would have never gotten satoshis to experiment sending BTC.
2764  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: March 09, 2015, 05:09:16 PM
Reading most of the comments tells me that people are just too optimistic. Before we even reach 1k, we should at least ask ourselves whether we can breach the psychological 300 level. I'm not trying to sound negative in anyway. While there's chance for price will go up, we just shouldn't set our mind thinking about the same thing all day long.
Dude you are deluded. Of course we'll go beyond 300 and 1000. Just wait and see. The fiat corrupt system is fucked and Bitcoin is the only answer. All other altcoins are shit and metals are boring.
2765  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think Buffett was right? on: March 08, 2015, 08:38:19 PM
at least is he coherent.

BTC is not the kind of investment that someone that follows buffet's philosophy would pick first.

You know, no dividends, nothing tangible, etc

Apart from the traditional investments. That's why he doesn't trust bitcoin that much.
Warren Buffet lives off his past investments, and all of the stuff he invested is old school stuff, he trully has no idea about new technologies, look at his portfolio, he never holded anything that was a technological mindblown like BTC.
2766  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: March 08, 2015, 08:37:16 PM
No one knows. But my belief is that if Bitcoin survives it will be worth more than it is now. I truly have no idea how much that might be though.
We are talking 5 figures for sure if we keep gaining traction in terms of transactions and adoption rate, we must engulf all electronic mone transactions and make VISA and friends obsolete.
2767  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks are Pigs on: March 08, 2015, 08:36:12 PM
That's how it works my friend. Banks are always going to be the winner. Legal thief
Not always, Bitcoin will pave the way for things to start changing, and then if you get fucked by a bank is your fault, because you had Bitcoin as the alternative.
2768  Economy / Economics / Re: Is money one of the three most important things in your life? on: March 08, 2015, 08:35:24 PM
Money is like blood. You need it circulating to stay operational. There've been phases where I've had nothing, and others where I've had plenty. I'm not sure my happiness level was any different, but the sense of reassurance is very powerful when you have some tucked away.

Agreed. Money reassures every human individual that he/she has better chances of living compared to those who have less or who have none. We cannot deny the fact that while we are living, we are bound to money, and we cannot live without it.
Indeed, it's the world we live in. We are fucked without money, so our brains make our bodies be obsessed with money. This is why not being one of the lucky early BTC investors had such a dramatic trauma in a lot of people around here, including me. We can still hope that in 10 years we'll be rich by holding XX coins.
2769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pyramid investing in Bitcoin?> on: March 08, 2015, 08:34:02 PM
Recently I've came across alt coins that use the method of pyramid scheme to promote and sell their coins to large companies. Should this even be legal? and do you guys think bitcoin should go through this too? BTCBTC
This has been going on forever with all these fake ass IPO's. Since crypto currencies are such a grey area most of the time they get away with it and theres not much that can be done about it.
2770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regret and depression on: March 08, 2015, 08:33:01 PM
I was sightly suicidal for a while after finding out I missed the biggest boat ever seen (realizing I could have been investing in BTC back in 2009) but things do get better OP. We have to deal with it and searching for that lucky strike.
2771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trojan targetting bitcoin! on: March 08, 2015, 08:30:16 PM
Condom companies should accept btc  Tongue
Lol it would actually be great, I havent heard a single company offering condoms for BTC, maybe it would be a good niche.
2772  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: March 07, 2015, 08:30:19 PM
I'm playing games and gambling a bit with small amounts, but whenever I get a nice little chunk, I set it aside and hodl.  I'll looking into selling perhaps when the price goes high again.  In the meantime, may as well scrape up small amounts and hodl.
I never gamble, only buy and hodl is the name of the game. Selling Bitcoin ever is objectively stupid. Why sell objectively superior currency for objectively inferior currency?
2773  Economy / Economics / Re: I do have an agenda - what is yours? on: March 07, 2015, 08:28:50 PM
i'm here simple because i like money , but i like it in the "form of bitcoin", and everything related to it's technology

but i want also 100% anon, i hope bitcoin will achieve that one day, because i hate taxes  Cheesy
I dont think Bitcoin will ever be 100% anonymous, for that we have Monero.
Im here to make as much Bitcoin as possible hoping that the price stays low as long as possible.
2774  Economy / Economics / Re: Machines and money on: March 07, 2015, 08:26:30 PM
once i've read, that the first thing a machine does, is to create a more powerful/better machine of itself

so a machine will probably make a better bitcoin
It's unpredictable what true AI would do. But it's so sci-fi that its kind of a waste of time. We are light years from human like robot with AI.
2775  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: March 07, 2015, 08:23:43 PM
One question. Bitcoin could theoretically die if its price goes too low right? Because mining would be not profitable anymore, without mining there would be no transactions and that would be the end, am i wrong or am i right

Remember when the price of bitcoin is at $1? No? Mining wouldn't be profitable, but the network may live on because it still has value and it can still thrive.
Mining is always profitable if the miner has a long term view on it, of course the main problem is paying the monthly electricity bills.
2776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: March 07, 2015, 08:22:23 PM
Hi! Cheesy

I recently created a thread asking for the best methods of gaining free Bitcoin.

Most popular results:
  • Signature Campaign (High Paying)
  • Faucets (Low Paying)
  • Trading (Variable)

Now, I'm asking a different question.
What are your best methods of growing Bitcoin.

Only refer to safe investments!

Thanks

Though, because of varying mining luck, I wont say it is the safest investment. But, it is a risk that worth to be taken...

114 from now they could get "hacked" if you know what I mean. This is the problem with Bitcoin related investments.
2777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has there ever been another Satoshi type of person? on: March 07, 2015, 08:20:54 PM
Vincent Durham, the founder of Namecoin, the first alt coin, is also unknown and 'disappeared'. I wouldn't be surprised if he's the same guy as Satoshi anyway.

Didn't Vincent Durham had pictures of himself uploaded or something? I reckon him being a real person.
2778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Mining mogul FriedCat has stolen more than a million in AM hash SCAM on: March 07, 2015, 04:20:49 PM
Here is another pic of Rock Xie I found in another thread...

He is standing with Spondoolies-Tech CEO Guy Corem. Interestingly there is not a single -ve feedback from our trusted members on FriedCat's profile so far =>  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=49840
All these big time Bitcoin stealers are tiny guys, like Karpeles. I hope no one spots them in real life.
2779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Revolution: An Internet of Money [FREE PDF] on: March 06, 2015, 04:51:21 PM
Looks good, will pass on to my noob friends even tho most noobs tend to learn faster from videos.
2780  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I sell my EUROs? on: March 06, 2015, 04:43:23 PM
If you want to stay in fiat... Stay in €. Otherwise buy BTC.
Yeah, not worth trading fiat for fiat, if you want to get out of the crashing € put it all on BTC.
