Hi everyone,..
Is there a way to monitor the temperature on this USB thingys, am asking cuz I dont see it anywhere on cgminer thanks!

No. There are no temperature sensors on the USB sticks.
2762  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: September 09, 2013, 11:02:22 PM
I'm interested in this if I can reserve a place in line for a miner, and pay when it's ready to ship.
Do you have a link to the miners you are making available for sale ? All I was able to find was the $50k product for 28nm chip orders.
This is exactly what the reservation queue does, you don't have to pay until we have the order ready for dispatch.
To find our products please just click on the "Products" tab in the home, that will bring you to the shop's main page where you'll find all the products on sale, including the miners.

Thank you. I must have missed the links somehow the first time around.

Good luck with this project. Look forward to following your progress.

And no info about shipping of the 400,000 chips they just got...nice
Why can't I shake this sick feeling in my stomach that the line about 400,000 chips was just another steaming pile of bullshit ?
We did mention in the last email they were already in hand, are being sent out. this email is just to address those people who still wish to get refunds even if their order is "prepare-shipping" which is the 400k+ chips.

I look forward to the imminent news when they move from being in hand to sent out.

I hate to ask this, but didn't SB provide his personal info to John K.?

Not that I plan on joining an angry mob (yet), but isn't it just a bit too soon to bring out the pitchforks ?

Ugh. I'm having trouble believing that Steamboat is intentionally screwing us.

Here's hoping we hear something decisive and definitive this week. I will admit I am starting to become a bit impatient, however.

IME, anything to do with china/chinese is toxic in 1 way or another. i am disgusted (but not in the least surprised) with the lack of integrity, not to mention delays on everything and little to no explanation other than 'someone else' is at fault...

I, for one, am absolutely in awe of China/The Chinese for how they've jumped all over building Bitcoin technologies ahead of most other countries.

Xenophobia like that really has no place in these forums IMO, and credit should be given where it's due.

Being a bad apple with low integrity and lacking scruples can happen to any individual, irrespective of race or color.
2768  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: @Friedcat: A forgotten promise? on: September 09, 2013, 04:53:26 PM
Even BTCGuild's shop has the new blades before old customers. GG.
As stated before, the direct sales of old blades' price difference is not part of the compensation. And for new blades we only ship to resellers in most of the areas.

Does this mean that old customers that have dealt with you directly in the past should now deal exclusively with resellers in our respective geographic regions ?

I understand you are an incredibly busy person, but, respectfully, I find it a bit rude when trying to purchase product with no response for over a week Sad
2769  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs 30 day countdown to the end of September on: September 09, 2013, 04:35:44 PM
No, you're not over it.  Your 40 point *I* the other day proved that along with your 35K loss rant.  You're still pissed cause you poked the bear and it ignored you, yet you poked it 40 more times while it ignored you, then you hit the bear over the head and got your ass handed to you.  I spent the weekend reading through everything you wrote on this forum up until you got your refund.  You deserved exactly what you got, and you're butthurt over it.

Correction. I *WAS* butt-hurt at the time. Who wouldn't be after waiting for a product to ship for over 10 months after one-broken-promise after another, and the hostility of their COO towards this community ? I'm only human.

You shit on any community or hobby I have an affinity towards, and I'm going to defend it.

Dealing with lawyers, attorney generals, postmasters, probation officers, and other consumer protection agencies gave me all the closure I needed to move on with my life and put my horrible consumer experience with Butterfly Labs into my rear-view mirror.

A theoretical $35k loss is academic. As the old gambers adage goes "Don't gamble it if you can't afford to lose it."

Bitfury and Buzzdave have been a pleasure to deal with.

I'm sorry, I'm still laughing over your comment the other day about some kind of $35k loss.  Want to rant that one by me again?

Spoken like a true protege of Jody, Josh and Sonny.

Not sure what more you want me to say. I'm over it and have moved on. The fact that you're raising it again is making you look immature and petty.

Hey, at least I got a refund, right ? Others are wishing they could say the same thing.

2771  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs 30 day countdown to the end of September on: September 09, 2013, 04:05:56 PM
Have your field day now, as you have no clue what those number represent to me, you only have your opinion.

Oh, trust me. We've been having a field day ever since you showed up on this scene as a tireless defender of Butterfly Labs.

It's all we can do but bounce back and forth between pointing-and-laughing at you, to shaking our heads in disbelief at your naivety from being exposed to radioactive doses of Butterfly Labs flavored Koolaid.
2772  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs 30 day countdown to the end of September on: September 09, 2013, 03:51:02 PM
To be fair, this is not a fair survey.

You have not included 0 as a valid option.

How great is BFL right now?

Just the numbers please.

Oh yeah, they seemingly haven't shipped any Jallys in one entire week?

 But... but...

Dear Techkojj,
To address your concern, production of jalapenos have not been halted, and we have been producing them at very high-speed since the beginning (as it's easier to assemble).
Thanks,
Nasser

Must.....not.....poke.....the.....bear.....bah
Just cause you couldn't keep your trap shut for 38 more days.....
They reserved the right to refuse service, and acted.

I'm over it dude. Have moved on with my life and supporting other ASIC manufacturers.

All things considered, feeling pretty good in retrospect how things worked out.

Is it possible he meant that the assembly of mini-rigs up to the point where the boards were needed continued until the boards arrived, thereby there was no work stoppage on the minirigs?
Nah... that makes sense.  Can't introduce sense into this conversation.

*Mumbles something about nothing making sense with regards to Butterfly Labs*

2777  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Has the BFL's Monarch taped out? on: September 09, 2013, 03:17:33 AM
Of course. It's now September 8th.

Butterfly Labs are a well established, reputable company that would never make false claims.
2778  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: YES, you can get a REFUND from BFL on: September 09, 2013, 03:15:59 AM
The simple fact of the matter is, politeness and respect get the same in return.  Rude, irrational and angry gets what it deserves.  Be an adult and you'll be treated like one.  Be a spoiled, tantrum throwing child and you'll be treated like one.

 I am Josh's complete lack of self-awareness.

You're going to want to run the Slush Stratum proxy. You're paying 7% fees at BTCGuild with the old getwork protocol on 8332.

Where can I find that? I've looked everywhere...

No they are not scam yet. They are trying to deliver their products faster.

Bernard Madoff was trying to deliver return-on-investment faster...
