2761  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can you find IP address of server/PC running Bitcoin-qt,Bitcoind via address? on: June 16, 2013, 08:39:39 AM
When you make a transaction, you relay it to other peers. Someone connected to pretty much every peer will be able to mostly accurately tell who made a transaction, and that tells which IP owns which address.

It's possible to get around this, just proxy transactions or use blockchain.info's pushtx.

Alright, actually i wanted to know more about atlantis and silkroad's transaction system.
They are onion based sites, so you can't find ip address of their server,so i was wondering if they can get tracked by their bitcoin address/transactions or not.

2764  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: From Bangladesh, want to buy Bitcoin! HELP ME on: June 16, 2013, 06:05:42 AM
No need to change our section, This subforum is in "Local" Category for a reason.

If some other country needs their own special subforum they can request it from theymos or simply use "other" section.

The thing is that the   sub  forum is  not   divided according to country . it  is divided  according  to  language.

Ours,  is  the  only  one  forum that is  catering  to  a  single  country,  that too an  English  speaking  forum.

I know  national  sentiments  are  high, but  look  here bitcoin is not  about   nations. it transcends  nations. I just  think it  is  a  good   idea  if  we  have  a  big  south Asian(English speaking)  community.

We  in india  have  a problem  with  not  many  bitcoiners,  so  why not   widen  the  net  to involve more  participation from  others  who  may  be  struggling to  find a  community  to  get  involved  with.

It's not about Language either,Local section is divided into bigger part of worlds, there are hundred of languages in world and you can't make subforum for each specific lanugage.

Indian subforum is here because it's a big country with a very big population.

Ps: Almost all guy on internet knows english very well, then what's the point of making local section? Well the point is,local section gives opportunity to meet and interact with your own local peoples, send and recieve payments with ease.

and If there are enough peoples from other south asian countries who think they need an special forum, They should request theymos to make an Asia forum and put india, china, bangladesh etc as subforums.

Please fuck off, I know ethics better than you, Read that guy's thread again, read my post again and again and don't spam in my thread. Finding something is not stealing and when someone don't even know who's real owner how can you tell someone a theif.

I don't have time to explain it to narrow minded kids like you.
If you have any personal (pakistani vs indian) problem with me, pm me

And please don't make me change this thread into a self moderated thread.

I'd love a clarification from Theymos on that. I see many other people with the "staff" tag, but I seem to remember him being the only "admin", so I guess it's just his personal company site and the only thing keeping everyone's avatars turning into giant penises is because Theymos doesn't care to do it (and because there aren't enough people who do it on their own).

Looks like you didn't seen him
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2211

But yeah, theymos is main, others are appointed by him.
2769  Other / Meta / Re: Are the mods getting paid from this forum? on: June 15, 2013, 09:49:11 AM
Theymos sells ad services and earns money. What's your business what he does with his own money again? Huh

If i'm not wrong theymos is just a caretaker like other admins, he does not own's this forum, and it's not his private property.
Real owner is satoshi.

I am very happy for you.
If you wish to make comparisons, perhaps try comparing your site with another script forum. Surely that must make better sense for you Smiley
As I said, if you took the time to read, I dont SEO comstark at all. It became inactive the day I finished putting it together...

No it won't make any sense, other sites are active (By Active i mean they are hosted), mine is just domain (no hosting) i ran site for 15 days only many months ago.

and

it's weird that you are charging 5 BTC per month for SEO and you didn't done seo on your own website.

Hi guys.
I do monthly SEO at 5 BTC/month

My SEO website is www.comstark.com

PM me your details and we can take it from there.

Note: You need to have Google analytics running on your website and you can set me up as a user. I can help you do that if you want. Then you can track the progress in real time of my SEO and if its not performing, then simply stop further SEO.

If you like, I can also give you suggestions for optimizing your website Smiley

2774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here's the scammer behind notroll.in. Do what you want, he deserves justice. on: June 15, 2013, 02:52:45 AM
I doubt anyone here will take any significant action.  There have been situations like this in the past... who remembers the pirateat40 (Trendon Shavers) scam?  We're coming up on the 1 year anniversary as a matter of fact.  He scammed the community for something like 500,000+ BTC. His name, address, phone, picture, and everything were posted here.  Nothing happened to him... I think one guy called his dad, but that was the worst that this community was able to muster.  Cheesy

He stole 500k BTC?

Holy shit thats like 60,000,000. Why the hell didn't anyone do anything right now?

Dude, I steal 60 mil, and you aint ever finding me. I'll be living like a king, on a beach somewhere.

lol his dox was publicly released.

Unless he nuked every record of himself and underwent plastic surgery, he'll be easy as fuck to find.

60 mil could certainly make that happen  Tongue Or atleast, he could purchase a new identity.

How old he was? I'm sure he's either got robbed or will get robbed one day.

I mean it's easy money.
Gun on head and keys out.

OP relisted the Jalapeno, I'm the high bidder, feel free to knock me off my 5 BTC perch.
There is no way in hell I would sell mine for 500 bucks.

"I will ship this within 24 hours of receiving payment to my address, 1Q9aSGiFJhxCd1HJDn28bD2Xc4KA2ZWBw1. Escrow is enabled because it must be but I don't want to use it"

LOL, why you think anyone will make payment without escrow to a member that doesn't have any feedback (i'm talking about bitmit feedback).

I know what i have posted if you are not able to understand it don't blame me or ask questions from me.

By correct i mean it's not false or completely made up name like john doe, as he sent me it to get WU, (He wanted me to go first, so i refused his offer).

Let's say I'm some stupid noob and i sent him WU on that name. If it's fake how the hell he will get that money from WU, They require id proof to receive money.

If you still don't understand it's your problem not mine. I'm out from this thread.

2778  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Still have 20 BTC's to sell for $50 a BTC... on: June 14, 2013, 09:30:23 PM
Exactly ms.escrow you have my information so why would I try to scam someone... sounds like a majority is trying to get something for nothing and that is not how I play.  I am willing to give my info because I am legit.
Are you trying to play with words? I'll tell you in simple words again.

Use escrow, go first with  Mods or fuck off oh btw if you are a drug dealer. Goodluck
http://prntscr.com/19zdbb

Because he couldn't give fake information? It's ridiculously easy to act like you're someone you're not.

If you trust him so much, you can give him the money, lol.

You did not read my post did you? Where the fuck i said it's his own name and you need to trust him.
Even a fucking stupid will not believe his offer and go first with him.
I simply wanted to say he's not a drug dealer which he was claiming in his other thread.
No drug dealer = No Tor = No blackhat Bitcoins (Obtained by him) = He don't have BTC = BIG Scam
Got it now?
