Nice will be facing Clermont I'm their home tomorrow but I don't think Clermont have a chance over Nice in this game, Nice is at the second position on the table with 19 point, while Clermont has just five points at the seventeenth position on the table struggling with relegation, they have poor performance this season and I think they will be more focused with exiting relegation.
Beating Lyon 2-1 was the first win Clermont recorded this season after which they have not won Any of their games this season, it's been draw and losses so this has made me feel they wouldn't be able to get a win at home this time because they have encountered teams weaker than Nice and still lost to such team, and they have unmatching team strength and dept. Newcastle is about to face some period of slow down as they are facing some issues currently which could in a way be detrimental to their performance, considering the recent loss at home in the UCL game the played yesterday and the recent ban of a key player for the next ten months, I think this is a lot they would have to deal with.
They may suffer a drop in their confidence and probably their mentality but then I think they have got some time on their side as the season isn't far gone already, they could look for a better replacement and try to get pass the loss they just suffered, they can also seize the opportunity during the next transfer window by January to look for a suitable replacement for tonali till he is back. They will be facing wolves in their next premier league game, they won't be having the home advantage, I hope they will be able to give out a good performance as wolves is not in their best of form.

Dortmund's win against Newcastle at their home will be a big boost to their confidence as they are now in a good position both in the UCL and the bundesliga, I can say the mentality of Dortmund this season is different and they don't look like they will be settling for an average performance, if they should add some more consistency to their current performance, they are sure going to do so well this season.
Usually they are known to train young players and develop their talents and probably at some point sell them off but it's looking like this season they will want to achieve a lot with them before selling them off, although we would want to say it still early to say if they will be able to achieve a lot from their recent performance as they still have a lot of league games to play but then I think they are doing so well enough already.

Newcastle seemed unlucky in this match. Because Newecastle almost scored a goal several times but always hit the goal post. But at the start of the first half, Dortmund was actually also able to make attacks which almost caused Newcastle's goal to concede more goals, but N.Paus did his job well as goalkeeper. But Dortmund's goalkeeper is also just as good. But still, I didn't expect Newcastle to lose this match. Because as hosts, Newcastle should be able to play better. But I have to admit that Dortmund's attack accuracy level in that match was much better. So it's not surprising if they win. Of course there is a possibility of Arsenal wining this premier league because right from the beginning the club I have in mind that could possibly win the premier league is Manchester City and Arsenal because there performance is extremely impressive and the competition they both had last season will still happen again this season because they both have all it takes to win the premier league.
But however the challenges Manchester City is currently having is the injury of there key players, which there absence has really affected the performance of the team but however I believe with time they will come back and when they do they will become unbeatable.
Arsenal do have great chances of winning the league title this season judging by their performance so far, but I fear Arsenal do not drop points again and fall back such that they only finish amongst the top five just like they did last season, their problem was consistency but I think this season they are over that with what they have shown so far, but then it's still yet early so giving them some more time will be fair enough. It's just about 10 games played so far in the premier league, so they still have over twenty more games before the end of the season and that's enough to get teams prove how well they are fit to lift the title by the end of the season, it will be only fair enough to at this time just keep an open mind until when they must have played pass twenty games we could tell who has got the most probable chance amongst the top five teams by then. |

Felix went down with an injury today, some how I felt it affected Barcelona's chance of getting a third goal in the second half because the missed a few chances with some cancelled goals for offside as well, I hope Felix recovers before Barcelona's El classico, Barcelona now tops their group with nine points while shakhtar at number three position with three points, Barcelona is now very sure to make it to the next stage of the league.

Going by that match against Arsenal, we could possibly say Chelsea is improving as compared to how they have played earlier this season, they gave a very convincing start by leading with two goals, which brought their confidence up to further face Chelsea well enough till the end of the match, I must say they had almost matching strength in the game as both sides did played well .
Chelsea's home advantage was another point of morale boost , that's what I think personally because they wouldn't want to loose cheaply to a team they have had a history of defeat against over the years in their home, regardless of their form currently, but I don't think Chelsea is a weak side at all they have go good quality players and their team dept is fine enough,.it only seem like they had a tactical issue but I'm glad they are showing some improvement now.

Been like that for years (but also why I like the 5/1 teams). Compare that to the Prem where you regularly see 15/1 odds on decent teams (Sheffield is 21/1 next vs Arsenal). It's not a recent phenomenon... maybe by then some of them might have crashed out of the bigger leagues and will be willing to fave the championship well enough to see if they can achieve something with it

If Girona can become a champion, it's really a huge achievement for them, just like how Leicester City won the Premier League on 2015-2016 season. They can win against weak clubs, but they're struggle when they face a top clubs e.g. Barcelona and Real Madrid. Since they only play in Copa del Rey and La Liga, they should take advantage over this because Barcelona and Real Madrid are participated in Champions League where they're will all out for this.
Girona has really been great this season, sitting at the second position on the table with twenty five points just like Madrid who is at the first with goal difference, is such a great achievement at this time, they have really work hard to have gotten there and it can be said it's deserving, because them achieving such without a star player is really applaudable and their coach aswell needs be commended. Compared to Leverkusen and Liverpool, Liverpool will definitely be ahead because the English Premier League teams are stronger than the bundesliga teams and Liverpool have performed well against those stronger teams.
I think the two teams, namely Leverkusen and Liverpool, are strong candidates to win the UEFA Europa League. At the moment I can't choose between the two because only two matches have been played. They both have almost the same statistics. So maybe I will wait until all the matches in the group stage are finished and then we can compare the two. Definitely Leverkusen and Liverpool stands stronger and better than most of the teams in the Europa, when checked based on team depth, strength and form. I see them as the best contenders for the Europa, nevertheless other teams aswell shouldn't be underestimated as they also wants a trophy too but technically these two teams so far have shown their level of capabilities which looks convincing enough. Klopp is yet to get an Europa trophy with Liverpool so I think this is his chances and he will be giving everything to it, although the Europa has to be the third most competitive trophies he would be fighting for this season, definitely his hands are tight I hope he develops a strategy to see him through them all and get a trophy before the season end, he has got a great team so it's very possible he gets to achieve this. |
