2761  Economy / Speculation / Re: Game over to Bitcoin Time to sell all on: June 26, 2021, 08:45:05 PM

So the lesson here is things might turn different from what they seem to be, but if you can afford to hold you hodl, if you can afford to buy more you do that because after miners find a way to remove China off the hook I see bitcoin flying high again, trust the process guys.

I agree with you we have been here a hundred times before, this is a roller coaster ride and if you know where you are heading you are going to be on a good ride, Bitcoin is down there is much speculation just buy the rumors and expect great things to happen, people who do made huge profit and they have proven that it process that you need to understand.

Altcoins are deeply affected in this bear market now, bitcoin hasn't fallen below $30k yet but eventually, it will. As the market keeps dumping, its overall marketcap will also drop, looking at the current marketcap now, it's not impossible that it will again dump below $1 trillion as we are already at $1.2 trillion now. This is inevitable already, it's bound to happen as correction always takes place.

PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial said the possibility of having fans in attendance during games could happen as long as those coming into the playing venues are vaccinated.
The PBA is still seeking approval from the Inter-Agency Task Force for Emerging Infectious Diseases for its proposed July start for the 2021-22 season, and Marcial said that they’d study the prospect of having fans inside the venues once they get the nod from the government.

So, if approve then we could see the start of the 46th PBA this coming July and the good news is if you vaccinated then you can watch the game live in the venue just like in the NBA.

I think no more bubble set-up for the PBA this as it's very costly to operate, they will just wait for the vaccination to roll out and will even use its players to convince people to be vaccinated for us to be safe from covid and we will be back to normal once again if 70 percent of the population are vaccinated.

Good news for avid fans, if this proposal will proceed and the IATF gives them the clearance on site fans will enjoy the game, no more bubble set up though attendance might still in question if they'll allow 100% fully vaccinated or they will consider safety protocols still.

Though there's new covid variant(Delta) which being feared that is's more quick being spread fully vaccinated individuals are still unsure if they are safe with this new mutated virus(not sure  if I use the right term for this.)

All in all still good to know that progress within this target dates is already rolling.. Wink

Maybe that's the reason why there's a little delay, we might not see a bubble set up that was previously reported, and since some people already got their vaccines, so just like the NBA, they are allowed to be in the arena again. This is a good development, hopefully, they'll be able to realize this and gain an approval from the IATF.
2763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you be doing if there was no bitcoin? on: June 26, 2021, 02:44:50 PM
I just want to firstly thank Satoshi and all the early bitcoin devs for literally creating a whole industry. Without bitcoin and crypto I would stuck in an office job as a middle manager. Bitcoin literally gave me and many others a way out. I am able to now create and build projects that would not be possible without bitcoin due to massive barriers to entry in the legacy world. And I am so grateful to Satoshi and co.

With that being said. What would you be doing if bitcoin did not exist?
Those who know about Bitcoin will certainly be thankful. It was such a great opportunity that arrives in the most challenging world.
If Bitcoin had never existed, I'm still doing what I've been doing this time. Even I'm investing in Bitcoin and sometimes do trades, I still keep my stable job. We never know how long this crypto will still exist and that having a stable job is the assurance that we could still make a living if the time has come the Bitcoin will be gone.
2764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still thinks that crypto is manipulation free? on: June 26, 2021, 12:49:18 PM
It's not the right time to start buying crypto coins right now because the next chapter for crypto with be filled with lots of bad news just to pull crypto value down and down so that they can buy for way cheaper price, who are they anyways? We'll figure that out yourself, bear market is 💯 real and it's coming, be prepared for more bad news
Well, it has all been negative since before. You can absolutely hear a lot of bad and fake news around, but wait, we have lived in this kind of market for many years and it's a good thing that we are still fine and surviving.

AFAIK, the market remains healthy no matter how many FUDs to hear around us coz people are already aware of the said situation. It's up for you to think it was reliable and believable but for us who know about crypto, it comes to be normal.

Now, I just want you to think about what happens in the past. Don't just focus on seeing the dark side but have to try to look on the bright side. It can't all in doom, IMO.
2765  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is point of Tehnical analysis? on: June 26, 2021, 12:25:11 PM
People who had come into trading do not force to us use TA on their trades, it was an individual choice. But having TA's on our side will certainly have a huge help however, not all the time it is find to good and perfect, and so might some people never appreciate. I do understand how desperate you are OP saying TA is pointless and nonsense. You might not appreciate this time but if you engage more in trading, may you find out what it could help for you to achieve your goal.
2766  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daytrading vs Holding on: June 25, 2021, 11:01:39 PM
Depends on someones capacity because not all would really be having the same skill and knowledge on dealing off with the market which means it would really vary on each one.

Some people do choose on holding instead of making daytrades which is actually that true that this isn't something simple that everybody could really able to handle out.

You are the only ones who could really make judgement and find out for yourself if this kind of trading technique or path would really suit out your capability.
It is a matter of choice and some would just like to make themselves easy and holding seems to be appropriate for these kinds of people. Traders are risk-takers, however, not all had survived, and even in holding because of some reason, it was their choice either.

I do try trading and holding, but what I'd find out that I wasn't good at trading...maybe because of limited knowledge and skill as the biggest factors that could affect the result and I would not recommend this to the community if you just like me. Because when we do trading, be sure that we are fully back-up with knowledge, otherwise, everything will be gone.
2767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crazy Dogecoin run 100x in 2 years on: June 25, 2021, 09:18:38 PM
You are pretty sure that the coin doge will be even higher. do you have a clear source about it?
what I see now is that fomo has started to weaken here and almost a few people are still following it.
other than that your billionaire you glorify today hasn't made the crazy pump like he did the other day.
but whatever it is, I'm really sorry I'm still not interested in this meme coin

No one can be sure of that, even Elon. This is just a speculation of anyone holding or investing with DOGE, it's normal to have a bias opinion when we are investing in a certain coin. I don't know how much DOGE has already increased, but at the current price, it has already increased many times and that makes it overvalued now.

I'm afraid that if the market continues to be bearish, DOGE might become one of the biggest losers.
2768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the martingale system sucks! (doubling down on losses) on: June 25, 2021, 09:10:35 PM
I understand that the martingale system is flawed and the casino still has an edge over you, because they have unlimited money, while our bankroll is much smaller. But what other system should we use then? As far as I am aware there is no system that is better than a martingale approach. With the doubling down strategy we have a fixed betting size, that guarantees us to recover all our losses from the previous rounds. The tail risk is that we lose 10 times in a row.

There is no such thing as a guaranteed always-winning strategy. If such a strategy existed, then any provably fair casino would go bankrupt. We can use different strategies to increase our odds, but sooner or later the house always wins. It's just math.

If gamblers have that kind of mindset, then they will not fool themselves into believing that one day they'll find a strategy that could constantly bring them a profit. The only newbie would fall for that martingale strategy as they don't fully understand the risk until they fully experience getting their bankroll busted many times.

Quote
The Labouchere strategy is also popular. It's a bit more complex than the Martingale and Fibonacci strategies and is also known as the cancelation or split martingale.

I'm not familiar with this one, I think I'll take a look about this strategy.
2769  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Cryptocurrency a Good Investment? on: June 24, 2021, 04:06:09 PM
Cryptocurrency is one of the biggest investments at the present time. The growing number of investors gives you the proof that this is a good investment but behind those opportunities, the risk is there. All investment corresponds to risk but crypto is riskier than the other due to its volatility feature. I don't want to believe in me and consider that I was an influencer as it was you to think it if I am telling the truth or not. Of course, you need to do a search in order for you to know more about crypto and to finally make a decision.
2770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I feel uncomfortable if I don’t buy on: June 24, 2021, 03:28:42 PM
I started putting 1k into Bitcoin every time it drops by 5k since 60k. And I ran out of funds a little while ago.

The fact that I can’t buy this dip just makes me extremely uncomfortable.

It makes me feel shifty and nervous of the fluctuations. Whereas before I looked forward to it falling so I can just buy.

I guess this is the part where I wait.
I think you need not worry if you miss this chance, you still have Bitcoin on you, and sooner or later, Bitcoin rises back to $60k, you will be making a profit anyway. It is just sometimes we miss some opportunities because of some reason and I don't think it is a need to blame ourselves for this. Remember that, we can't predict the market, if only you will know that Bitcoin will drop at $28k, it certainly you are preparing money for that. Unfortunately, you never know and things that we need to accept otherwise, it becomes a headache.
2771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: another bullrun before 2021 ends on: June 24, 2021, 11:51:41 AM

I think it's still possible to make bull run one last time before 2021 ends. There are still some big companies and countries continue to adopt bitcoin. I'm sure a lot of them have all ready plans to adopt BTC and altcoins as well. We still need to believe even the death cross already happened, I'm thinking that the BTC price might go down at $24k and then recover from that moment. I'm sure most of the investors are already waiting it to happen. 80K is still possible, we're still in the middle of the year, anything can be possible.

And I think we will going to wait till the end season of the year comes I mean I remember that the most awaiting time for market revelation of bitcoin is when year end comes near. I still think that the bullish season is still on it's way to come and most probably we can see it happen again but I guess speculating the price at the moment is too early I mean crypto market now were experienced such huge percentage of price dropped and also we are still having a half of a year to wait to see if the market will going to recover, and I hope it will.
I wouldn't want to burst your bubble but I think the bull run just ended although unlike before, people used to dump everything to the market but I think they knew now how to hodl. This price action is just a normal price before we could see the bear market soon.

And expect that most altcoins will turn to red since most of them are correlated with bitcoin price. If you have more money to invest just buy if you want to hodl it for a long-term investment.

I don't see any signs that we should have a second bull run this year since most news are creating fud instead of creating fomo.

That's a fair prediction, we better not expect a bull run because the market is already struggling and correction is happening, at least being realistic would help us to make a timely decision and it's always right to accumulate during the correction, as they say, "buy the dip", that would always work even if bitcoin or the market will still continue to dump.

If we trust the market, we will always be optimistic that whatever ATH it achieve before, it will be surpass in the next bull run.
2772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what you worst experience on crypto on: June 24, 2021, 11:16:49 AM
My worst experienced is I did not sell any my crypto in the end of 2017, because iam too greedy and just hope the price will keep going up until my asset reach amillion dolar. Learn from that mistake, in this bull cycle when i made good profit I always sell it by half amount.
I have the same experience, I would say it's the worst but I would also like to thank that situation as I still made money overall. I just regret I did not sell everything, I could have made a bigger than what I made that time. After 2017, I slowly spend my asset and I was not able to fully ride on the new bull run that happens late last year until this year, and I have a little regret with that, but I'll continue saving now.
2773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Youtube channels and influencers are currupt like the Mexican police on: June 23, 2021, 11:33:03 PM
If ever you think that way, then just simply ignore and never watch YT. It makes no sense for you to follow them as it only gives frustration.
But honestly, you can't just put blame on them, their job is to attract and encourage people to invest in altcoins but not knowing that they never know what they say and possibly that they are not investing in real life. Think that these person has been paid for the promotion and it's you as an investor, it is also important to make your own search, not just easily following what they say.
2774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The right time is now! on: June 23, 2021, 11:01:24 PM
Could be right mate,
Aside from investing in the top 3 coins (BTC, ETH, BNB), it is a better opportunity to invest in LINK and TRX.

The list that OP has is all promising, but we need to choose what feels it looks good ( hopes to be lucky). Honestly, our profit does not depend on the number of coins we invest but it matters a lot the volume of our invested coins. If we just focus on the 3-5 coins, having thousands of them, once it pumps, you'll be making yourselves a millionaire. And besides, you are making your life too easy to monitor those 5 coins.
2775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 23, 2021, 12:22:46 PM
That's why he was able to beat young guys like Thurman and Broner.

I'm impressed with Manny when he beat Thurman, but not on Broner as we all know this guy just talks a lot and his career is really going down. I heard Broner had a fight this year, was it postponed or cancelled?

Anyway, back to the topic, Manny's age made him smarter, he understand that winning in boxing does not mean to KO your opponent, it should be done in a strategic way and that's why he is doing now.
2776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 23, 2021, 12:00:49 PM
Just as we're talking last time about Ravena's transfer and disappointment into B League. There's another Filipino that's being imported by a team in the B League and I guess that Japan's scouting team is looking for Filipino players and this is a sign that there could be more from our homeland that they'll take into their country for the B League.  Cool

They can't wait for Kiefer, so they are looking for other prospects and I think this time they were successful.

By the way guys, have you seen the Gilas vs China tune-up game?

I was a bit busy and I was not able to watch it, I also can't find highlights of that game. Did the Gilas win or China just dominate them?

Here's the result, https://tv5.espn.com/basketball/gilas/story/_/id/31691591/gilas-wraps-clark-bubble-stint-win-china-tune-game

Gilas Pilipinas settled for a 79-all draw with China in an untelevised tune-up game on Wednesday at the AUF Sports and Cultural Center in Angeles City, Pampanga, according to reporting from ESPN5.com's Carlo Pamintuan who was at the venue.

It was a draw both teams scored 79 all. Since this is just an exhibition game, there's no OT here.
2777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 22, 2021, 12:33:32 PM
No NBA today in what seems like the first time in a while. Tomorrow brings the Suns vs the Clippers for a game two matchup that will still not be featuring Chris Paul or Kawhi Leonard. Devon Booker stole the show in game 1, but Playoff P wasn’t too bad either. I’m looking for Beverly to be a pesky nightmare tomorrow and Paul George to be putting up lots of shots. I think DeAndre Ayton is the difference maker though. If he continues to dominate in the paint the Suns are hard to stop.
We got some good rest too from an every night session of watching.  Cheesy
Zubac will also be a game-changer for the Clippers. We will witness here if he can do something about the massive offensive attack of Ayton.
Clippers cannot do the same play as what they did with Jazz using Gobert as their attack point because of his slow reaction.
Ayton is faster than Gobert and help defense will always come because of the Suns' chemistry on both ends.
Small ball should be set aside now to have a chance to steal 1 game.

And Ayton is a scoring threat too, just like what we've seen in game 1, Booker penetrating and then when Ayton slip inside, he will just throw passes for a dunk. That should be somewhat stop by Zubac. They need to throw a lot of body in Booker though, fresh legs to at least have him work hard. Beverly is too small to guard him.

And then Paul George needs to explode, a 40 point game is needed for him in order for Clippers to win game 2. They don't need to get themselves to 0-2 again, because this is the finals already.

Ayton is like Clint Capela, but a better version as he can shoot free throws consistently. There's no one like that in the Clippers squad for now, but the Clippers has to guard the paint very well and that is by putting Cousins who played some quality minutes in game 1.
2778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 22, 2021, 11:52:28 AM
I personally think that Clippers played a hell of a game in Game 1 without Kawhi and in front of a Phoenix home crowd. And they were within striking distance the whole game with Devin Booker's 40 pt triple double.

They have enough talent and championship pedigree in Rondo to pull an upset against Phoenix imo.

With the odds on offer right now, Clippers series/championship ML might be worth a buy even if you're not a fan of the team.

Agree and game2 would be the best chance for the Clippers to steal the home-court advantage as they will have their adjustments in place.

Still without Chris Paul for the game tomorrow, I think the Clippers will steal game2 as Booker will be a marked man.

Clippers @2.75 ML is very attractive so I'm going for that.

Nice odds, however, I still believe that the Suns will win as they have been dominating the home-court advantage, and even without CP3, the Clippers also have no Leonard so the Suns are still the better team. I'm not saying the Suns will not lose, I just think they'll protect the homecourt.
2779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge profit but how to withdraw on: June 21, 2021, 11:46:12 PM
if you have that's money, many things you can do to find the solution. if have friend abroad just come to them and ask to open account in crypto exchanges. its will not take alot of cost if compare your profits. and then tranfer your profits into their account and withdraw it to local bank and finally ask him your money. but when you do this solution ,just come to them dont by online or you will lied.
That unless if your friend can really be trusted or that person has known to you for a long time but, we can't decline the risk especially when talking about money. But at this time, it is a need for OP to give his full trust because that is the only way it helps him out and to get his money otherwise, it will be stuck there until such a time that it was not prohibited.

And in regards to a bank transfer, it is better to send it not in bulk amount coz that leads to asking why and where...they might be thinking about illegal activities behind this and we know what will happen next.
2780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The bull market still exists on: June 20, 2021, 11:00:44 PM
I think the bullish trend is still on the rise, if in the hypothetical case that Elon Musk had not said his FUD message towards BTC, I think we would be at least reaching $ 70k. Now Elon Musk has announced that he will accept BTC from clean energy mined, but will he make his cars with clean energy fuel? At the speculative level of the market I think Elon Musk did everything on purpose because he needed to sell and at the same time realize his enormous power of manipulation. Based on these speculations, it is likely to think that the bullish sentiment has been around for months, in fact I can't stop thinking that this year BTC will reach $ 100k and by 2022 it could reach $ 288k, this only when roughly waiting for the compliance with the S2F model.

But the question is if the community still has the guts to listen and believe him? After all, he did, I don't think so.

Anyway, I still seeing the market to stay at a bullish level even without Elon Musk, even without such manipulation stuff. In fact, he (Elon) leave out from crypto we never experience huge changes, and besides, we are happy about that situation.

That probably there is another another Bullrun will come and we never know yet, might be 3-4 years from now, or earlier than that.
