2761  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: November 25, 2020, 04:35:10 PM
And even after 1 year Bitcoin didn't even struggle to reach a higher value.  Grin
Just want to insert that.

Back to the topic. Covid-19.
It had been a long year.
So many changes happened to our community including me.
Switching my job to work from home and then my kids not able to play outside.
Until now, we still don't want to be infected and use masks whenever we go out.
I think even with the vaccine being distributed, this habit should stay until everything is really clear. We don't want it to just keep on going back.
2762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the long awaited bull run? on: November 25, 2020, 03:01:17 PM
The real beginning is next year, this is somewhat comparable to 2016 for me, lots of movement and then next year will be big not just bitcoin but including other alts like Ethereum, XRP and others.

So currently we have seen majority of alts moving already and then next year we might see them reach their all time high or even surpass them. So we will see, next year will be very exciting if this happens.

Agree.
Will history repeat itself or will this be the long-awaited new bottom of the Bitcoin price.
I want the latest.

I just hope that those who had been a victim of buying in 2017 @$20k will have stronger hands by now.
Not selling just for ROI. With hopes of bitcoin reaching greater value than 2017.
2763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 25, 2020, 11:54:42 AM
Hard for Cousins to come back, he has been consistently injured, in the Warriors and in the Lakers which is his worst has he hasn't played even a single game in the regular season. Though he still has that name but we all know his current condition now, he also need a tough mental health now because for sure inside of him has been affected a lot.

The good part is, he had a team now.
All he needs to worry about now is how he can contribute to the team.
Achilles tear, quadriceps tear then torn ACL. I can't even imagine his mental state right now.
But according to sports news, he's well-rested and can now play at full strength. We will need to see that though.

It's damn sad but this may become the last year of his career if nothing is done.
No disrespect to him but no team will waste money anymore on someone who won't contribute anything.
He ain't like the last years of Nowitzki, Duncan, Carter, and Haslem. They can still provide a veteran perspective.

(Compared it to them because Cousins was given a veteran's minimum.)
Still, this is a good sign that some team wants to give him another shot.
2764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Site Buys $100 Million of Bitcoin Every Month to Pay Players in BTC on: November 25, 2020, 08:49:24 AM
Sadly, it was also posted 5 days ago.
Poker network now gives '95% of payouts’ in Bitcoin

As I also replied on that thread.
This might be all about tax evasion of players and not really about the adoption of bitcoin.
It's all because most of the players are located in the USA and the issue of online gambling legality.
2765  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Follow a trading process. on: November 25, 2020, 06:56:47 AM
It's when they watch Youtube videos about how they all earned money from trading that gave newbies the rush.
They suddenly jump in without thinking anymore.

Learn the process.
It doesn't need to be a big trade at the start. With little money, you could just use your eyes and brain on how things work.
I'd rather make a small mistake initially and learn from it rather than jumping in with big amounts just following what others said.
2766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 24, 2020, 04:49:13 PM
Raptors does not have an all star big man anymore with this news, I wonder what's their plan?
I didn't see that. Honestly.
Yeah, Marc and Ibaka are both from Raptors and now they are left with nothing because they already signed contracts.
Damn, it's really confusing.

But they already made a move. (Just researched it after I read your post, thanks.)
Toronto Raptors sign Aron Baynes, Chris Boucher to 2-year deals
It's a good addition to the team.
2767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How true is this? on: November 24, 2020, 02:53:06 PM
By the time their project launch, the hype is over.
Yeah, some foolish ones may do so thinking he could abuse the market but it may not.
If I am an altcoin investor I'd rather stay with what in front of me rather than switching to something new without certainty.

Launch + time + amount to spend will be wasted if suddenly the market falls again.

2768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CASINO AFFILIATES on: November 24, 2020, 11:57:03 AM
Crap. The one answering every question is automated. Is he(it) a robot?  Grin
Copy then just paste everything.
He even posted 3-4 times with the same quoted replies.
Then more replies with the same answer on the 2nd page.

It would be much appreciated if there will be something new. Interacting with players is what will give life to your business.
"We are players here."
2769  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which DEX Do You Trade On? on: November 24, 2020, 08:07:33 AM
@OP is shilling that wallet that he has linked. There are various DEXes that you can find if you take your time searching for one.
https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/dex/
Bisq is one of the best although the ranking is #35 on that list.

Yes, it is too obvious.
Do we really need to still answer the question or recommendation?
I think there is no real purpose for that and he won't even read it anymore.
He had done his part and will just leave this thread forever.  Grin

But for the sake of other readers. Yeah, Binance Dex might be helpful.
2770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 24, 2020, 05:23:21 AM
Another max contract, Jayson Tatum, Celtics agree to five-year, $195 million rookie max extension, per report. I think everyone can agree that this is fair and deserving for Tatum as well.
That's a lot of money but I am sure it will be worth it.
Young kid, agility type with lots of skill set. It's a win for the Celtics. I'll keep Tatum for myself if I am the owner of Celtics.
It's like molding a new Kobe. No disrespect to Kobe of course.
Actually, we can see a lot of signature moves of the Hall of Famer in Tatum because he was his mentor.  Cry

While Markieff Morris staying with Lakers, well he did lend some quality minutes to the Lakers quest for the championship in the last 10 years hitting 3's and playing good defense, except for that fumble pass to AD.  Smiley
Damn, I can still visualize that error just in my memory.
I don't even need Youtube to remind me of that bad play.  Grin
But they still won. So, I think that's all forgotten. Let's just remember the good stuff.
2771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 23, 2020, 05:03:37 PM
LMAO... lots of trade news now, it looks like in the coming season, we are going to see a new players in a team, we should be aware with this too. The future betting will again be affected with these news, so I think I'll just observe before playing a bet again.
So true. It's difficult to keep up and memorize them all.
You will Google always just to be updated.
Although, I am actually better at memorizing names after watching them play.  Grin

I have a little question, does the nets paid him last season despite not playing?

Yes, it's a contract.
Anything bad happens to them, they will still get paid.
If he tries to use the player option then the same amount should be paid by the team that will absorb him.
CP3 is a good example of that as of now. That's also the reason why they are aiming for a full contract. As long as it's really high.
2772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be Emotional, Don't be Greedy on: November 23, 2020, 02:50:10 PM
Good tip.
Just something to remind everyone.
We are still living in a world of fiat. So that is still the important thing to have for now as a means of buying goods.

I did sell some and bought appliances that are needed at home.
Wife is happy, I am happy. That's all that means to me. I am not investing to just let it be stuck until the end.
Somehow, we need to enjoy it too and provide little pleasures to our family.
2773  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best trusted solid exchangers I will nominate them on: November 23, 2020, 11:12:53 AM
I'm done with Poloniex. They are good when they started. All the hype is around them but they got cocky.
2 strikes of my funds being held and that is enough to put them in my trash list.
Some don't even go 2 strikes, I have given them 1 more chance.
Kraken? I have not used it yet.
Maybe until Binance gives me a headache then I will switch to another.
As of now, they are good at customer support, and even when I lost my 2FA code they are being helpful about it.
2774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 23, 2020, 08:27:18 AM
What a good amount for the contract of Vanvleet.
Raptors agree to huge four-year deal with Fred VanVleet
$85-m for his four year contract.
He's worth every penny. He had been improving a lot every year.
As for Donovan, this guy deserves every cent of that deal, no doubt about that and Jazz make the right decision for giving him that max contract.
The same goes for this guy. The meaning of hard work and passion for the game.

With all that is happening in trades.
I may just look at the team rosters after all of this ends.
It is really damn confusing right now that I can't keep up anymore.  Grin

2775  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 commission on LTC investments is at 35% till 31. Dec on: November 23, 2020, 05:03:07 AM
I really think they should start doing some kind of promotions now, looks like they're players is starting to reduce from time to time or maybe just because the Bitcoins price getting higher and higher?
That's also one thing to consider.
Since the price is high, they don't need to wager a lot of bitcoin. We could say that the wagered amount now is halved than the last few months.

As you have seen in the crypto casino world, most places nowadays have ton of games, even the biggest ones are now starting to deal with third party providers to allow users gamble in thousands of games, and even if you do not go with that route, most places have at least 5 or more games. So, adding new games to yolodice could be a more permanent solution to user numbers.
Suggestions were asked last time in this thread.
I voted for Keno. I think that is a fun game. Maybe they are working on something right now to boost the energy of the players.
Will it be a surprise Yolodice?  Grin

Have you already lost it or not? What 2FA application do you use? I can recommend Authy because it has automatic backup function. So if you lose one device you can install and restore it to another one.
Thanks for the suggestion. I might try this coz my phone is on the brink of death.
All my backup 2FA keys (Google Authenticator) are jotted down on a piece of paper. Which sucks. Grin
2776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't repeat same mistakes on: November 22, 2020, 07:01:25 PM
It's confusing.
Sell altcoin for Bitcoin or just keep the altcoin?
What is the real mistake that happened 3 years ago?

They tried to ride the boat.
It's normal kind of reaction when you are a buyer. Jump in and then maybe make a little profit out of the pump.
Or, just stay with your alts and wait for the market to go back when they had enough profit with Bitcoin.

There is a bad story though. Some alts will not rise from the dead. They stay six feet under.
2777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 22, 2020, 05:41:54 PM
Trades left and right and teams acquiring big names.

Serge Ibaka at Clippers.
Jae Crowder found a new home at Suns.
Derrick Jones Jr. at Trail Blazers.

I am sure those who own a console of NBA 2k20 will have a lot of problems editing their game.  Grin
The Clippers did good acquiring Ibaka. I think he will help a lot and the chemistry between him and Kawhi is already set.
This will lift them again as one of the top favorites.
2778  Economy / Speculation / Re: Catalyst for starting next Bitcoin Bear market? on: November 22, 2020, 03:19:51 PM
Coinbase gets hacked?
It's difficult to imagine how. But, there is always that possibility. That's 1.

Satoshi decides to "take profit"?
We will know if this happens. I think there is always that one guy who checks his balance.  Wink
With that event, the whole crypto community will be alarmed and after checking, I guess they will panic and sell their bitcoins.
Yeah, it could also happen.
I think one bad event could flip it but the question is what.
What you mentioned has a lower chance but I can't think of something else yet.
It could be one of the top exchanges falling that could create a bear market.
2779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake or nitrogen my point of view on: November 22, 2020, 02:35:43 PM
Why not Sportsbet if it is sports you are aiming at?  Grin
Just my opinion.
It has good UI and also smartphone friendly. I had no problem with them from day 1.
Withdrawals are also cheap.

But, this is about Nitrogen and Stake.
Yeah, I might also go for Stake as my second option before Nitrogen.
2780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Notorious Coinbase holding my bitcoins in name of 'Review' | Be careful on: November 22, 2020, 11:56:39 AM
Sir, please do update us on what will happen here.
I am kind of intrigued about this kind of situation.
Many will try to sell at ATH and I bet they don't want to just instantly get a frozen account just because Coinbase is trying to hold them off from selling.

Maybe you should try another exchange afterward. If you don't have any problem with KYC (since you are verified with Coinbase) then go for the top exchange that is available. I bet they won't make the same ruckus as Coinbase did.
