boa @Disruptivas

Freedom of anger
Freedom of other people judgement

To curtindo.
2782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: February 20, 2022, 05:51:56 PM
Metaverse or not, most gamblers would still use the old platforms. They'd stick with the games that they're most familiar with since most of their goal is to win money and not drive innovation. Ultimately, the players will still decide what direction will the industry head to, but I guess it is more of the same.

yes, the same way kindles and tablets didn't kill the books the metaverse and immersive AR/VR experiences won't kill the web2 and web3 experiences we have nowadays
it'll just be something different and new to explore.

2784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity - A new Ethereum game similar to CryptoKitties [SPECIAL PRE-SALE] on: February 18, 2022, 02:54:00 PM
Possible the gamers Will leave this game if hard to get slp on adventure. I'm play this game because that, when to behard  so what benefit Will player get
Some gamers may leave, but the loyal gamers will stay. Although SLP will be harder to get, the team may prepare to give another interesting program to the gamers. As long as the team members still develop this project, don't be worried about getting anything by playing the game in Axie Infinity. I guess they will make the gamers be easier in playing the game in Axie in the future. In addition, by getting SLP harder, SLP prices may increase. This is also good news for the gamers. When they get SLP, the value will be more expensive.

it's a balance between amount of SLP farmed and price, should be ok to get less SLP if price is higher, but of course they need to add more sinks for SLP so it has more deflationary pressure to price than inflationary.
2785  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 18, 2022, 02:41:15 PM
Exactly. Besides, on Roobet, users who make small deposits/withdrawals (whom I believe are the majority) are requested to only complete the step one verification by providing some basic information such as the name, country, phone number without having to upload any document.
I am sure most of those complaining about kyc are publicly sharing more personal information than that on social media platforms.
^ Definitely right, I don't understand why they have hated so much KYC compliance since most of us have a social media account where we continue uploading photos and videos publicly and besides, when we look at Roobet KYC verification for level one it only asks name, address where you live and your email address and that is fine, you can gamble with a small amount that you want. I don't see any complicated thing that everyone should be worried about. However, as of now, when we talk about the fastest-growing casinos, one of the most common factors that has is the KYC thing.
Uploading foto and your family on Social media is not recommended because it will be easy to snapshot by criminals. And in fact, this happens often to those who don't like KYC. we know when registering to Social Media must have required phone numbers and all don't have a problem. Even though they have won a lot and played here for years, I don't know why when Roobet just asks for a phone number, they don't provide it?

answer is simple: trust.

some people have more trust on big companies than smaller ones
possibly they believe security of these companies is bigger than crypto casinos
also worth remembering that social media accounts don't usually have payment information and values, differently than casinos.
2786  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Comprar uma ilha? on: February 18, 2022, 02:34:32 PM

$1.3 milhão: eis a composição on: February 17, 2022, 03:51:05 PM
concordo @bitmover

2788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: February 17, 2022, 03:35:05 PM

I agree that the cost will decrease significantly over time, but if you are the first in line, the cost will be extremely high, even though you will experience it sooner than others. I imagine that when the touch screen phone first became popular, the price was prohibitively expensive, and only the wealthy could afford it; now, however, they are inexpensive, and anyone can afford it. I believe that the same thing will happen with virtual reality equipment. We only said that the more screens you have, the more things happen, but that hasn't been the case since we've become lazy and are wasting a lot of our time.

yes, competition and technology are usually good ways to make prices more accessible for all
personally I'm not that interested on being the first on metaverse tech since the progress on the technology will probably be quite fast, remember how was life before having these flat monitors and televisions?

before we had these huge "tube" monitors that looked like a big box and were never as big as cinemas.

To suuuuper ansiosa pra ler.

> Things that limit freedom -
there is no freedom if you are enclosed by
- Self-interest
-Walls of discipline

> The relationship of freedom to sensitivity
Great freedom = Great sensitivity

> Beyond right and wrong
There is no such thing as doing right or wrong when there is freedom

> Freedom and intelligence
Real freedom is the outcome of intelligence.

IMHO the three big ones in life are wealth, health, and happiness. We pursue them in that order but their importance is in the reverse.
2790  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 17, 2022, 03:08:32 PM
Bitcoin itself is never anonymous right from the beginning.
Yes, some crypto gamblers expect some change but not every gambler because I can see that some people are not happy with the change and I don't know maybe they are not ready to accept the change or something.
Nevertheless, the future law of casinos will be determined by their Master's license holder and country of operation.
I disagree, you can use Bitcoin fully anonymous if you understand privacy concern and have a lot effort to do that.
This is why if you find "KYC is mandatory" on casino rules, even though you've play long time and they never ask you to submit KYC... you need to expect the casino would ask it in anytime and what you will do if you faced that. I guess you don't have any choice between submit KYC or move to other casino, if you're complain about that's matter it means you're ignored their TOS.

yes, this is a fact
each house has their rules and for some you'll have to agree if you want to play there
though it's already proven that KYC usually hurts more than helps and is not the most effective way to avoid crime.
2792  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | VIP | on: February 17, 2022, 02:54:33 PM
~

haven't seen the tweet
interesting idea, wrong approach, in my opinion

duelbits angle could explore other ideas on NFT possibilities and interactions with the brand, or simply drop something, even if just starting by dropping a POAP to special users, why would a cassino business be related to biggest art sales in the NFT world?

Maybe because if you are a big and successful company, working together with similar companies is a good idea? Why do big companies do product placement in movies and TV shows? Or, what Lays has to do with Super Bowl, except that both names are recognized by the whole world? I think cooperation of Duelbits with Yuga Labs, creators of Bored Ape Yacht Club, or, Larva Labs, creators of CryptoPunks, would be beneficial for both parties.

yes, I know product placement works and marketing too. signature campaigns here on bitcointalk as well
but fore real, I don't really see Yuga Labs or Larva Labs benefiting as much with a partnership with duelbits than they (duelbits) would benefit from it...
I also don't see an universe where Pak would partner with them

that's why seems like a better angle is raising awareness of benefits of their NFT collections (when they come) or of NFTs in general, just makes more sense...
2793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity - A new Ethereum game similar to CryptoKitties [SPECIAL PRE-SALE] on: February 17, 2022, 02:45:26 PM
You think its still worth jumping on board with Axie?

It's not worth anymore if you bought expensive axie but if you can buy floor axies with your own recipe and you will able using it in the battle and get more and more SLP from every battle and it's still worth.
It seems like the origin will give a chance but it's not so significant like what i was expected before. https://www.axieworld.com/en/economics/charts?chart=slpIssuance

SLP issuance is still so high despite the fact if advanture already removed from the axie. The team was making a blunder by creating a new blockchain token instead of using SLP to be used as its own gas. I doubt you can get your roi asap.

not sure if this chart data is correct, I saw some other sources too with different data, will try to find it again

I don't think it's a blunder since Ronin will be used for much more than only axie, but time will tell.
2794  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: 14/04/2026 - o fim do bitcoin? (podcast ficcional) on: February 17, 2022, 02:35:29 PM

inclusive vale a pena ouvir a série, é bem boa

2795  Local / Português (Portuguese) / 14/04/2026 - o fim do bitcoin? (podcast ficcional) on: February 16, 2022, 02:25:04 PM
Salve bitcointalk

 Shocked
2796  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Aceitar criptomoedas no Brasil? on: February 16, 2022, 02:11:19 PM

there's a big update coming to axie, the team released a detailed article on what will change

Axie Infinity: Origin is Coming!

it's worth reading for everyone who's interested on the game, some quite nice new dynamics are coming soon.
2798  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 16, 2022, 01:43:58 PM

I wish I have seen this earlier
contest ended yesterday
almost 7k participants

really small chances but we never know
would be nice to win one of these bored dogs on a giveaway
I got the chance to join, but as you've said there are almost 7k participants with just one NFT worth more than $20k, the winner is really lucky. I always join on Roobet's giveaway on twitter but unfortunately luck is not hitting me. Anyway there's always next time and they're consistent with their giveaways promotion, if you always check their twitter account you'll know it.

yes, pretty tiny chances this time, with 7k participants the chance of winning is only 0.0142%
so, almost impossible
but since there's one winner it may be you!
I like the idea to have exposure to these possibilities even though they are really hard to win.

2800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: February 16, 2022, 01:23:48 PM
can't even imagine the full scope of what neural interfaces will be able to do Smartprofit
quite interesting to think about it

I usually think that web4 will be the fully immersed metaverse experience, but not many people elaborated these concepts yet

on the bright side, the ways to apply these new technologies for human development and learning will be really interesting
