I sent 1k bbp on ccex account. I just wanted to check if its working. Till now i have about 50 conf and deposit still zero.

Regarding you, ccex bbp should be now in some state between normal and maintenance. In maintenance without maintenance flag. And regarding wallet I think 1k bbp are not lost. They are in the destination wallet. When ccex make update bbp will be there. Bye. But what im wondering on one hand ccex should be in full mode now why we dont have maintenance flag when there is still update missing and deposits are not allowed now. It's not lost; CCEX is in maintenance, they just forgot to put up the maintenance flag. I believe what they did is stopped the daemon when I skyped them but didnt have time to officially update the database flag. The BBP sent on the latest version is never lost, you have the TXID. It will be picked up when they upgrade and sync and then be credited. The only BBP lost is BBP mined on a fork. Once you upgrade, those coins dissapear. |

It has been quite a while since I used SouthXChange, but just so others are aware - apparently something is not working right with deposits. I did an instantsend several hours ago, and the deposit transaction is still listed as pending, despite 16 "normal" confirmations so far (basically, ignoring the InstantSend functionality).
I checked the wallet version first, they are up & running with the right version...not sure what is going on, but just a warning to be careful. I've opened a support ticket, but you may want to hold off on deposits there until this is resolved.
So apparently the magic number was 20. 20 confirmations required for the deposit to become available. InstantSend doesn't matter. There you go, I guess. Its a shame, because at one time they honored the instant send, but I believe they upped it based on the recent mandatory upgrade resync. |

There is not a migration path yet, but we already enabled the HD wallet in stratis, so stratis runs side by side QT for the next couple years. And since you can send money back and forth, and we have plans for a full governance module, I don't see the need for a migration plan. The blocks are all there (we aren't in need of starting with a new blockchain).
My thoughts are that we would build our superblock payments, CPID association, voting, and full compatibility, so a user would be in beta on stratis for a long time and if hiccups occur, they go back to prod using biblepaycore until we work it out.
So far have caught 2 "mempool" exceptions, it seems to handle them fine after I resume. Overall the plans sound logical, I guess I was thinking more importing public key from your QT wallet, I can see it isn't needed right now, but in the future would be nice to offer. The biblepay GUI shows the logo and background but I don't see anything else currently, it also seems to take a while to load.. will look to see if this an issue on my machine Yeah I saw some of those, but it seems to be accepting all the valid transactions live, so we will need to specifically see what threw the mempool error. On the GUI, please send me your home IP address. We have to whitelist you for it to pull the GUI contents. |
