2781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.14.3 on: March 01, 2021, 12:56:17 AM

Thanks for the update.

I was just wondering if there will be an Android Wallet release anytime soon?  With more awareness via various Media Platforms, I'm sure the average user will appreciate a portable wallet to enable them to make transactions on the go.

Can someone post an addnode list please?

What can I do you lowlife scum. I'd join a class action lawsuit if they start one.

You mean like the Gunbot customers against Cryptopia: class action from two years ago?

Or, the very shady Controversial businessman recruiting Cryptopia victims for class action from a year ago?

Most of the people who want to pay in porn sites prefer the use of fiat and avoid using credit cards.

You can't make a cash transaction over the internet - there's nowhere to insert the folding stuff...

So, your only options are bank translations (Credit Card, bank transfer or similar), or, using crypto.  Bank transactions are tabulated on their sites and anyone working for that bank can access those details and see which haunts you frequent and how often.

However, with crypto, "You are your own bank" as the saying goes.  You can have multiple wallets and out of those wallets send funds as you please.  The block-chain doesn't show who controlled which funds and at what point, so it would need a mechanism to tie one transaction to one person then work out where those funds went.  With confirmation something of a formality, (especially with lightning network transaction which add a level of privacy to those transactions) people can make online transactions securely and the merchant knows the services have been paid for.
2784  Economy / Reputation / Re: Most Recognized Profiles (by BPIP) on: February 28, 2021, 01:44:04 PM
why don't you ...

Didn't I read somewhere or other a while ago that someone was contemplating adding the merit circle score into the mix - instead of taking three scores by adding in the merit circle score they would have four scores to give a more even spread...

(unless of course we also add the most posts score - but then again is it really fair to add hundreds, if not thousands of posts that read "This thread has been moved to X,Y,Z..." that are automatically generated and don't actually contain any genuine post for the person they are attributed to??)   Roll Eyes
2785  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Noification when Bitcoin TX fees reduce on: February 27, 2021, 11:19:37 PM
Not withstanding the above, are there any sites that have corresponding Twitter feeds?  If you had an alert for whenever a tweet has corresponding information, that might be a work around to being unable to get the information directly off of websites.

(would API's work?)
2786  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Point of sale solution on: February 27, 2021, 11:15:41 PM
The most obvious one would be to have a 7" tablet sitting next to the cash register and when the sale is tabulated, the sales clerk switches to the tablet with a wallet such as Eclair (especially if the customer would like to make a Lightning Network transaction with much lower TX fees) or any other Android capable BTC wallet, enters the sale price, shows the corresponding QR code which the customer scans then conducts the transaction.  Eclair will show the incoming transaction with a green tick (presumably others do too).

At the end of the day, all transactions are swept to another wallet in another location by the store manager/supervisor.  One TX, one transaction fee.
2787  Other / Meta / Re: Is it impossible to level me up? The Merit questions of member guy on: February 26, 2021, 01:31:41 PM
Most of those who have responded to your post deserve merits.  You do not.

You woke up two weeks ago and recovered your password via email.  How long were you asleep for?

You have received just two merits from someone called cfif (one of those merits is border line, the other not warranted AFAI'mC) - to make matters worse, you gave your one earned merit back to cfif under three minutes after receiving the first one from them (most of the users on that same page are now banned which speaks volumes of the quality of the work on offer)

(Your one and only merit given was for a Russian Language post - you stopped writing in Russian on the 6th of February, 2018 - two days after receiving two merits)

I count four or five German language posts at that same time (mid Feb 2018) but at no other time.

315 posts/315 activity, one borderline merit post.
2788  Other / Meta / Re: Should the Scam Accusations & Reputation sections be more restricted/moderated? on: February 26, 2021, 01:12:39 PM
I couldn't agree more that the reputation and scam accusation sections should be "read only" until a user gets to about Hero Member status.  There are plenty of other sections that could also do with a little bit of tightening up - either as "read only", or, as hidden until you have progressed through the ranks.

Currency Exchange and Lending should be hidden until you reach member, if not senior member status while any of the "services" sections should be off limits (read only Vs hidden" until a user is at least member, or senior member to ward off the newbies wanting to join Signature Campaigns.

Why do you think that Ivanka Trump will be even considered for the GOP nomination? She has zero political experience and she is regarded as divisive as her father is.

I for one can see that Ivanka can take over the helm should her father be unable to (for any reason - age/health/prison etc)  Ivanka sat in on almost every meeting her father had as President, so she's had a four year "take your kid to work for a day" experience.  She knows the inns and outs of the political behemoth that is Washington D.C. unlike her father who learned on the job and fired anyone who didn't agree with him.  I feel Ivanka may not necessarily go down the same novice path, but she might inflame in much the same way that occurred over the last four years while the GOP sat back and watched while nodding in approval.

Am just cross-posting this from another thread.

FRANCE VS SCOTLAND rugby match has just been cancelled (or postponed indefinitely) because of several coronavirus cases.
What will happen to this bet please?

Quote

The Six Nations has been plunged into disarray after France’s match against Scotland was postponed following another positive Covid-19 test in Les Bleus’ camp on Thursday.

No date has been set for the fixture to be rescheduled and it is understood using next week’s fallow weekend is considered risky given ongoing concerns over the outbreak within the France squad.

To be honest, I'm very surprised *any* fixtures are occurring in the European Region given the lack of social-distancing/repeated lock-downs and other things that are causing the Covid to continue to circulate and flare up time and time again.

Sorry if this is a dense question, but...

Is it that a person *must* post every single day (presumably no-matter-what) or, is it that on the days when a person posts, they *must* post three times with one post being in the gaming section?  (i.e. say a person misses one day but each of the other six days manages to post three times per day??

I don't think Trump has any serious chance of getting the GOP nomination for 2024.

I somehow don't imagine Trump will go back, red cap in hand to the Grand Old Party and as for their blessing for renomination.  Rather, I think The Don will just form his own party and drag most of the 75-80 Million that voted for him (maybe 50-60 Million people) into his new party.  Their membership fees will pay for his campaign.
2794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does knowing your sport and teams really make you better at betting on them? on: February 24, 2021, 10:50:22 PM
Those are fans but just chose to gamble and they will never change their decision no matter what handicaps and situation has changed.

Those are the ones you want to gamble - their wagers in the face of overwhelming odds against their player/team helps boost up the pool of funds and makes they payout for people who think with their heads, not their hearts all the larger than if most were truly analising the match.
2795  Economy / Reputation / Re: Merit abuse altaccounts (w'out scamming) banevasion plagiarism not valid -ve on: February 23, 2021, 11:39:39 PM
My thanks to all who have responded so far.  I wait until a few more people have responded (or voted) before I comment on a couple of observations that have been made.

I will, however, remind people the text of two of the questions reads:

Quote
Yes, -ve trust feedback for Alt Accounts where one or more have scammed
No!! -ve trust feedback for Alt Accounts where one or more have scammed

As you can see, the question alludes to alts that have been uncovered where one (or more) of the alts has already been identified as a scammer.
2796  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2021 Q1) on: February 23, 2021, 11:31:13 PM
Just a quick heads-up to let everyone know that I have started a poll in this thread: Merit abuse altaccounts (w'out scamming) banevasion plagiarism not valid -ve

I pose the question:

Do you agree -ve trust feedback is appropriate for the following reasons?

The answers (you can only choose four of the answers) are as follows:

Quote
Yes, -ve trust feedback for Merit Abuse
No!! -ve trust feedback for Merit Abuse
Yes, -ve trust feedback for Alt Accounts where one or more have scammed
No!! -ve trust feedback for Alt Accounts where one or more have scammed
Yes, -ve trust feedback for Ban Evasion
No!! -ve trust feedback for Ban Evasion
Yes, -ve trust feedback for Plagiarism
No!! -ve trust feedback for Plagiarism
I'll mark -ve as I please
No!! to all four examples

HAVE YOUR SAY! - The more people who vote, the stronger an argument can be made later on should someone challenge your actions.

I put a small bet on the $60,001 to $75,000 range and within about an hour of me doing so, the price has been in free-fall causing the odds to open out as other price ranges have wagers placed on them.

It'd be funny if once betting stops for this month and the price reverts and manages to fall over the $60,001 line for me.

Can somebody remind me again how I can default distrust someone who already has a tilda in their user profile name?  If you can post it with the code tag so that it doesn't get muddled in the copy and paste I'd appreciate it.
2799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2024 US Presidential Election | Biden+Harris Vs ?? ?? on: February 23, 2021, 12:57:59 AM
I remember this stat that I saw earlier that the chances of Biden/Trump/Sanders staying alive in office are actually much smaller than people expect.

That makes the bet inherently way riskier if you're choosing a Pres-Vice pres pair.

Imho I'd probably go with betting for Dems/Reps if you were sure one of the parties would win. The mortality risks are too high to be predictable for almost all of the favourites, as grim as that sounds.

Fortunately, there are checks and balances in place that are centuries old.  The most obvious one is the US' Vice President assumes command whenever the President is incapacitated (VP Chenny was acting President while President GW Bush underwent a short medical procedure).

Kamala Harris certainly shows herself to be a strong personality and has been in key decision making rolls in the past.  No doubt she will again, when the time comes.

If a user writes:

e.g.

Does that overwrite the above?
