2781  Economy / Economics / Re: Food crisis coming? What's wrong about it? It could be good on: June 03, 2022, 12:34:54 PM
If you think having money is enough to deal when the worse food crisis hits your country then I can say no and also give an example for this. Anyone read what is actually happening in Srilanka for the past few months where there is shortage for everything due to the National debt followed by hyperinflation so even people who have enough cash in their had to pay hundred dollar for basic grocery needed for an adult still there is no thing available there.
2782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Computer Scientists say Crypto Industry is Misleading??? on: June 03, 2022, 08:33:41 AM
How can we call someone as scientists when they don't even understand the blockchain and how the computer expert turns out to be a financial advisor?

Not everyone who is an expert in tech related thing has to be an blockchain expert which is like when we ask an general doctor who is very popular but he can operate something related to neurology right?
2783  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies and eagerness lack of patience on: June 03, 2022, 08:07:42 AM
You recently just left the newbie rank from what I can see to become a junior member and all of a sudden you are giving advice to other newbies like myself. Life is in stages definitely as you have said, but this topic is highly unnecessary especially judging from your recent post which are almost all alike and are all emotionally patterned to blackmail users into giving you merits. Thank you for the motivational speech and advice, you should take it as well and be more patient to bring up quality conversations that could be of benefit to us.
Obsession with merits make people to do such things. Cheesy

Sometimes it is so easy to see what is the intention of their threads which mostly focused on merits because then only they can able to rank up and participate in campaigns, I didn't say this to every newbie who are trying to learn something new with legitimate query but most people try to make guides which is not that exceptional bit expecting merits.
2784  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holding my horses for now on: June 02, 2022, 04:01:13 PM
Is buying bitcoin right now the same with buying later? I stopped buying because it looks like Bitcoin dips isn't over, imagine buying at 19k per Bitcoin, I think the whole idea of investment is when you are buying not running after the best coins in the market, buying them cheap is better or I don't get it?.
Buying cheap is the best thing to do as an investor but no one can assure you that price of Bitcoin will slip to 19K or whatever because that is how the market works, it is unpredictable so buying at 29K is better than waiting for 20K if you're ready to hold it for years but who know it can reach too low or it may never happen.
2785  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How possible was dubai transformed from desert to world tourist country in 50 ye on: June 02, 2022, 03:15:45 PM
Tax free which made Dubai into so rich because rich people love the concept of no tax so started to invest a lot into that city also their natural resources helped a bit. Now it is one of the place in the world which attracts more tourism and also making money from them even I saw lot of documentry related to this but I couldn't recall all the reasons now but if possible I will edit this post and add links later.
2786  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Platform? on: June 02, 2022, 01:25:34 PM
Hi guys, I am new into Crypto, I wanna know which platform has low gas fee .. my budget is very low which is just 120$ .. I do not want to throw them into trash, but I like to embark on any platform which gives good returns, like Exness or Position exchange. I was reading an article on https://detailsnreviews.com/crypto-exchange-okcoin-launches-a-free-trading-nft-marketplace/ , do you think it is good to start with 120$?
Isn't that FTX still has the lowest fee? I never heard those exchanges you mentioned but exchange like Binance and FTX has low fee but it will not be same as the gas fee because exchanges use the batching system and also they may ask more than actual fee needed because they call it as withdrawal fee.

But you don't have to withdraw money after every trade especially when you have low capital just trust the reputed exchanges which is worth for few hundreds in my opinion when you have the intention of further trading in near future.
2787  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Importance Of early Cryptocurrency Education for Children(HAPPY CHILDREN DAY) on: June 02, 2022, 10:20:45 AM

The same goes for cryptocurrencies. I want childhood to be childhood, with games, sports, and the least influence of the Internet.

And the rest, as regards future life, must be taught when the personality of the child has already become ready to understand all the pluses and minuses of money.
Most of the parents actually force their kids to become what they wanted to achieve on their own but unable to do so they just expect their kids to fulfill but this is totally wrong, a kid can be anything even the billionaire but it should be with their own interest not by forcing them. All I wanted is to educate about the money as early as possible so they know the importance of money which may help them to choose their path based on their interest or passion.
2788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you saved your bitcoins in multiple wallets? on: June 01, 2022, 02:47:42 PM
If we are talking about multiple Bitcoins then certainly splitting up is a good choice but don't overdo it because then keeping the seed will become bigger task then so just use few to split or even one can be better when you know you have the private keys safer and not exposed to only or intruders.
2789  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The effect of drugs abuse on youths on: June 01, 2022, 01:25:20 PM
The drug abuse? Anyone forced to take drugs or they force themselves to consume because they wanted to since they're addicted to it. I don't know the drug addiction being the root cause of all the crime because I have seen people who never consumed drugs also become the criminals.
2790  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Education is the Key on: May 31, 2022, 04:25:12 PM
Charts don't lie but it never tell us what will happen in the future so anyone thinks that prediction is important based on the technical analysis to be more successful then its a lie. And about the topic what you define as education?

You're talking about either the knowledge or process?
2791  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My Diary of Hope on: May 31, 2022, 06:39:10 AM
First of all, its so surprising to see my quote among the most famous members I admire, so thanks for that. Yeah this is what it is we don't need to have extra intelligent to educate we simply can share what we know and people who wants to take it can take and others just let it to pass. I always try to keep the answers simple so everyone can understand it better.
These are very amazing advices - and credit goes to you for giving credit to you who helped in motivating you.
How you remembered all these posts dating back from 2021. Do you keep compiling them since the beginning? or do you have a sharp memory?

To be honest,I don't have any compilation of my own post because I made it myself  Cheesy so that is going to be my reply no matter whenever someone ask that question but I used to have bookmark of important threads from different members which helped me to gather lot of knowledge.

Also I have lot of ideas about creating some kind of threads about particular things but I can't able to spend enough time to do those things in the recent years due to my busy schedule in the personal life, maybe I can execute what if my memory still hold all those ideas someday.
2792  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: May 29, 2022, 05:53:53 PM
I do much prefer on having internal exchange so that we would be having further options to make.
I agree. I prefer internal exchanges too in crypto gambling sites since I don't like going through all the hoops in order to minimise fees.

However, I don't really mind if internal exchanges aren't present in crypto gambling sites these days primarily because of the negligible BTC TX fees and fast TX times these days which hasn't changed despite its extreme volatility.
Most casinos avoid the internal exchange feature to ease the money laundering issues and the withdrawal fees are not too huge for a common gambler and also the waiting time is about minutes to few hours generally so they get better convenience while playing in cryptocurrency casino for that the few bucks can be worth it in my opinion.
2793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: should I be concerned about the history of bitcoins when buying them ? on: May 29, 2022, 03:51:12 PM
If I purchase bitcoins via p2p, can I get some problems if the bitcoins I get were involved in some criminal activity ? If yes then how do I avoid such situation ?
If you're buying the coins from the p2p platform then you no need to worry because the funds you bought will be credited into the platforms wallet then you can withdraw it to your own address so you won't be charged for any criminal activities because seller didn't deposit the funds directly to your wallet but you should be careful if you're buying coins from someone personally.

But the real problem is while selling those coins you may get lot of problems because you don't know the source of Fiat coming to your wallet that is why choose the reputed trader while selling Bitcoin.
2794  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Buying Property With Crypto (Bitcoin) on: May 29, 2022, 02:50:30 PM
Yes, it is possible in Dubai if I am not wrong because I had seen lot of ads regarding properties which also accept crypto payments and generally Dubai is the best place for investing on the real estate because it is the city that keep growing too fast in very short time. However you need to check the legal process for registering even you are allowed to buy with bitcoin'.
2795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of coin or token will be chosen and survive? on: May 29, 2022, 02:06:53 PM
If the existence has a purpose then it will survive or if there is another thing can be the solution then it can survive for a while but 99% of the coins and tokens created with no real purpose will exist here only for short time until the hype runs out.
You have a point but even tokens created to solve a problem will suffocate at a certain point because new projects will overtake them by finding more viable solutions. That said, there is a good chance they will never get dumped suddenly as it happens with memes and fake coins like fake Squid Game tokens.

It's funny how anyone can create a coin or token they want within minutes and then it's all about who can do create the hype and advertise effectively wins the race. Even investors are so naive they usually get trapped within these advertising and influencer tweets and posts that they don't do any research and just blindly invest. It's time we as investors get smart and avoid investing in memes. If we don't invest in meme coins they will slowly dry up as developers will have no reason to make if people don't buy them.
Yeah I mentioned it too if the existing project solution is outdated due to the new projects then the project will fall overtime but as said the hyped project will get lot of attention and also give returns for the early investors but this will only last for the very short time basically until the whales extract all the juices and let the common people to suffer that is why we have to be careful while choosing our investment.
2796  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to move crypto between binance account without any transaction fee. on: May 29, 2022, 01:14:15 PM
Well, its actually not a transaction since nothing is happening on chain probably we can just call it as transfer and there is no wonder that we can do for free but anyway thanks for the steps because I didn't know the feature exist in Binance but used the feature in coinbase not anymore.
2797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The first gas station to accept Bitcoin in my region on: May 29, 2022, 06:53:09 AM
I thought Nigeria banned the decentralized cryptocurrencies because they already launched e-naira also announced people to change their savings into their cbdc as soon as possible then how it really possible to accept Bitcoin in the fuel station?

Anyway how people reacted to this? They really spend bitcoin for filling or just the same ood way...
2798  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freewallet trouble change email with 10 eth on: May 29, 2022, 05:43:57 AM
They literally have tons of similar accusations with no solution that is why the reputation of wallet is ruined already here on bitcointalk, this is just another thread for them so sorry for the loss and you can't actually do anything about it.
2799  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wise Sayings That Are Applicable To Cryptocurrency on: May 29, 2022, 04:24:57 AM
"But Fud sell FOMO" is another saying and more applicable to the cryptocurrency investors.

What can we expect from our investment also has to be realistic even though the cryptocurrencies are giving high returns still we need to have our greed under control or be ready for complete loss.
2800  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are you a trader or a hodler? on: May 28, 2022, 06:24:40 PM
In fact, we can decide which one is profitable and must know where we are comfortable of doing our job as these all are very challenging in real life.

 - trading is not for everyone and not all become profitable
 - Holding is not also for everyone as this is only suitable for those who have patience

We simply don't make a decision that will compromise the future of our funds. It should be planned well. And I'm going to say that I was a holder and at the same time a trader.

You are right,

I am going to answer the Title question only.

I had no plan to Hodl any crypto or Bitcoin. I wasn't aware much about the fundamental of Bitcoin. Many local YouTubers make videos about how you can profit by doing spot trading. So I bought some BTC and some altcoins too at the peak rate. BTC was $59K when I bought it. So, I waited for profit, and it kept falling. It was just hit ATH a few days ago, so I thought $59K was a Dip. The situation is like, I bought the dip, and it keeps dipping. LOL. Now, I am a holder because that's all I can do to recover from my loss.
If I am not wrong the ATH was around $65K so you could have made decent profits if you sold at the ATH in no time but you didn't because you expected more profits. And as you said now you almost lost 50% of your capital value but still you didn't lose anything simply wait for few more years then you will be happy about buying bitcoin but next time don't enter when it is at its peak try to accumulate at the bear market then wait for the bulls to wake up.
