2781  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Starting the Trade on: October 12, 2017, 07:37:50 AM
I learned to trade using Poloniex. They have a good looking UI but their customer support is below my expectation. Bittrex volume improved a lot when then customer support of Poloniex started to be an issue. If you want to start trading, you can use Bittrex but first thing you need to learn is how to cut losses so that your profits will not be eaten up when price of your alt started to drop.
2782  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to earn monthly income with Bitcoin/Altcoin trading?? on: October 12, 2017, 07:32:29 AM
Bitcoin and Altcoin trading is not easy as it sound. Not because you have enough BTC you can go ahead and sign up to any exchange site and buy coins that you think will earn you money. It needs further study, not only study on the coin or token that you plan to buy but also study the current status of the coin/token and dont forget to check BTC price, if BTC is up, expect that alts are on its way down as alts holders wants to sell and convert to BTC.
2783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 217: Bisping vs GSP Info and Betting Thread on: October 12, 2017, 07:21:53 AM
Oh cool.  I didn't realize this is gonna be featuring Coach Zahabi and Tristar.  Thanks for pointing that out.

I'm honestly more intrigued with Garbrandt vs Dillashaw than the main event.  Dillashaw's style is almost a carbon copy of Cruz's but with the KO power.  And this is a grudge match between the two since they have some history, with Dillashaw being the 'snake' for leaving Team Alpha Male and with Garbrandt being the Faber loyalist.

Let's see how the champ nullify's the challenger.

This is true, Garbrandt vs Dillashaw fight is more interesting than GSPs return to UFC. GSPs last fight is not interesting anymore, he played safe most of the time just to keep his title. I know BJJ fighters what they are doing is not simple or easy and for those non BJJ fan watching them fight will just make them sleep, just like what GSP did in his last few fights but I respect his achievements in UFC and BJJ practioners.
2784  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Amount of BTC for trading on: October 11, 2017, 04:04:48 PM
You can start with 0.1BTC but don't buy only 1 Altcoin, try to buy 2-3 Altcoins to avoid waiting for the price to reach your target price because sometimes it takes a while before an Altcoin starts to move to the direction that you want. Long term trading is good if you have patience in waiting for your investment to grow, but for me I would rather buy an Altcoin, wait for it to reach my target then move on.
2785  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price Forecast $5,000 Today 10/10/2017 to End Of Month on: October 11, 2017, 03:52:47 PM
It is possible to hit $5000 and up to $6,000 as we approach October 25 more and more Bitcoin and Altcoin holders wants to grab more Bitcoin to get a hold of Bitcoin Gold but expect massive dumping of Bitcoin Gold once its listed and sell is allowed just like what happened with Bitcoin Cash. Price of Bitcoin may follow as well.
2786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: government and bitcoins banning on: October 11, 2017, 03:39:32 PM
I am still optimistic about the news of Russia's plan on ban of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency but if President Putins word is final and executor then it is possible that this decision will influence other countries to follow in ban of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. While it is true that Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency can be used by terrorist, so does fiat and its been in use since the beginning.
2787  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell all alts to buy more cheaper? on: October 10, 2017, 09:18:51 AM
With the upcoming bitcoin fork and the so called "dividend" that will be received thru bitcoin gold the price of BTC is on the rise. I am considering selling all my altcoins, even at a loss, so that i can buy more of them once bitcoin's price rises up higher.

What are your thoughts on this? Would this be a good strategy?
No. That's not a good idea. If you bought $100 worth of NEO and sell at below Buy price and you get $70 worth of BTC. You lost 30%. Since you are now holding BTC, you need BTC to climb up to 50% (50% of $70 = $35). At today's BTC rate, which is example $4,800, that means BTC needs to reach $7,200 so that you gain back that $105. Math gurus out there, please correct me if my computation is wrong.
2788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: October 10, 2017, 09:01:26 AM
It's not really a breaking news but its been on-going for quite sometime now and you don't need to go too far, just look around this forum and you will see a lot of scammer pretending to offer a good deal but in the end they are just after your Bitcoin. Its not only for scamming, but also as payment for illegal items like hacked accounts and those pirated software's.
2789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible mining coin by laptop on: October 10, 2017, 08:04:43 AM
Its actually not a good idea since Laptops are not designed for heavy use like mining even if the Laptop is top of the line or for heavy gaming. You will the laptop to its limits and it will lower down the service life of your laptop. Why not invest in GPUs, it might cost you more than the price of your laptop but it will generate more income for you but please also consider your operating expenses like electricity and manpower.
2790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Pucrhase With Credit Card Good ? on: October 09, 2017, 08:44:40 AM
I was reading in the last few weeks about brokers and sellers of Bitcoin  can use credit cards to make this purchase. At first I was like this is a bad thing. Thinking it will be abused as the value continues to rise. Well after looking at this I understand all brokers you can fund your account with a credit card, So why not Bitcoin.

I looked at this if you are able to trade the markets you should be responsible to buy Bitcoin on a credit card.

It may sound expensive to buy Bitcoin using credit card but if try to break it down as to how are you going to pay for it after you received the bill you'll be surprised that credit card offers a low interest rate in payment even if you pay it in installments. If you buy Bitcoins today and buy an Altcoin and you earned 8% profit from it, you can easily pay your credit card bill after a month since credit card companies offers as low as 3.5% interest rate per month on any purchase.
2791  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What happened ? on: October 09, 2017, 07:49:10 AM
One reason I see why price altcoins continue to drop while BTC slowly climb to $4,600 and perhaps we will see $5,000 in the next few days is because of the upcoming hard fork for Bitcoin Gold. Remember the time when Bitcoin Cash was introduced? It looks like it’s happening again in anticipation of the air drop of Bitcoin Gold and what comes after the air drop? Just like what happen to BCC, dumped heavily and look at the price of BCC now it is also suffering from heavy dumping of Alts.
2792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [OMG] OmiseGO - Speculation & Discussion on: October 09, 2017, 07:15:43 AM
Garbage. Done nothing but drop even when they have "big news" "big announcements ".

Useless coin going down to 3$3-$4
Big announcements nowadays is not a guarantee that price will climb up. If you still have a stash of OMG hold on to it if theres no urgent need of fiat, selling it will not help OMG gain its old price back but it will help the price continue to drop and you will make those low ballers happy since there are people down there waiting for discounted price of OMG.
2793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OmiseGo on: October 09, 2017, 07:10:40 AM
When you dump your OMG token someone will definitely pick it up with open arms. What we are seeing now is not permanent, so why dump your token when you know that eventually price of OMG will go back to its old price or maybe even higher? Keep it and stay away from knowing how much is the current price of OMG, next coming days are not a good day for those with weak hands.
2794  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: October 09, 2017, 04:21:53 AM
While there are lots of ways to prevent loss in trading and one of them is to set stop loss limit, there will come a time that you will face loss in trading and its something that we need to deal professionally. I lost money in trading but lucky for me its not the money that I saved for my family, its from my earnings from trading so it doesn't hurt me that much but every time I remember that I lost that amount of money I still ask my self why I didn't cashed out or convert to BTC. I wrote down all my mistakes and how wrote who to prevent it and from time to time, I read it to remind me what not to do. I consider it as a costly learning experience that I don't want to happen to me any more.
2795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO, still promising? on: October 09, 2017, 03:49:37 AM
Yes you can earn from ICOs specially if you are one of those bounty hunters but if you are going to invest your hard earned BTC, better think twice or more. ICOs became an easy way to earn money nowadays, they come with good white paper, good team but what about the plan? Is really feasible? Is it really workable? How long will it take to materialize? ICOs are popular because its like easy money both for investor and project owner but its hurting the name of crypto currency in the long run.
2796  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience and Holding on: October 08, 2017, 06:17:54 PM
Ive been wrong that i withdraw all my earnings on trading ..
i learned that ..must have patience in holding then exchanging it times 10 from the day I bought my alts..
hmm .. too bad for me now bitcoins is still aiming high ..
Why feel bad if you earned at least a profit? If you withdraw or sell but earned a profit then nothing to feel bad about it and besides who knows if Bitcoin price will recover after it dipped at $3,800? You withdrawn or sell because you thought that its the right time to withdraw. What you did is ok as long as you earned even with a small profit, feel very bad if you sold at loss, I'll be kicking my self if I do that.
2797  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you give bitcoin as a wedding gift? on: October 08, 2017, 06:12:26 PM
It's a good idea not only as a wedding gift but also a good as part of a wedding souvenir. Maybe give out a paper wallet with small amounts to introduce Bitcoin to those who attended the wedding. It's unique and its a good way to promote Bitcoin awareness in an event where you don't expect this kind of giveaways will be handed out.
2798  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I found how to predict BTC price, now I'm building a tool for you guys on: October 08, 2017, 06:01:08 PM
I'm an economic student and in the last 6 months I've been studying the cryptocurrency market. In my research, i wanted to understand what affects the cryptocurrencies price? and if it's possible to measure it?

The results were positive and I decided to create a tool for cryptocurrency traders that will help to improve your successful trading rates and have more confidence when buying/selling a coin.

Before I will release the tool for widely use I doing a bit more research in order to provide you guys the best trading tool out there. I made a short survey(2-3 minutes max) and your answers will help me to go further with my research & development.

The link to the survey:
https://freeonlinesurveys.com/s/uy2aOtky

I'm also looking for cryptocurrency traders with experience to try our the beta version that I'm about to release in the next few weeks.
PM if you're interested in testing my beta version.

Sorry to burst you bubble dude but this is what made Bitcoin so unique, its unpredictable. Who would have thought that bitcoin price will be affected with fake news? If a whale woke up on a wrong side of the bed he might say to him self, time to mess up someones dream today and sell a lot of Bitcoins to cause panic, but may vary if the market will follow. So no crystal ball or any tool can predict the price of BTC.

2800  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I stop Buying BTC? on: October 08, 2017, 05:46:39 PM
If you are in for a short period of time then better forget about buying any crypto assets at all because for me any crypto assets are good for long term investment, you may earn in buying low and selling high for now that BTC price is still not very stable and keeps going back in fort at $4,400 but in the long run more and more people wants to get a hold of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is not just a band wagon, its the future.
