2781  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin Raffle on: July 23, 2015, 08:44:33 PM
Looks interesting, as it stands currently only 8 tickets have been sold for the draw which takes place tomorrow so quite good odds of winning, I will not be taking part but wish luck to those that have, if the site is still about next week I might feel differently if there are more than a handful of participants to make it worthwhile.
2782  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Sign up bonus 0.01btc - Playtodos.com - Best Poker and Bingo on: July 23, 2015, 08:40:07 PM
I am kind of addicted to this game, a big fan of the user interface very easy.  I am yet to try out the Bingo app, I might do so over the weekend.

Oh dear, just another one in the long line of scam cloud mining sites, I wonder how much Bitcoin sites like these actually get away from people it must be a decent amount for them to keep on coming back for more.  Completely immoral and sad to feed of people in this way.
2784  Economy / Gambling / Re: Euro Millions on: July 23, 2015, 08:15:21 PM
A shame, I saw the subject header and thought it was good news, imagine winning the Euromillions with Bitcoin but alas my heart is broken.
2785  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Make $ on small investment on: July 23, 2015, 08:13:19 PM
I want some money please give me some for a business I just thought about, that's all thanks folks lol Smiley
2786  Other / Meta / Re: What if there's a scam website in my signature? on: July 22, 2015, 08:40:11 PM
0.6 is certainly a nice sum which makes you think possibly a scam to earn a quick buck or two.  I have seen some people warned about carrying an avatar / signature that is a known scam which is good as it gives the person time to research (which should be done initially) and then remove it without receiving negative.
2787  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 BTC = $5,000 by end of the year! on: July 22, 2015, 08:17:41 PM
wow, I suppose anything is possible and that would be a great price although end of the year is a bit optimistic.

2790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Citigroup Is Testing Its Own Bitcoin: 'Citicoin' on: July 22, 2015, 12:58:06 PM
Sad thing is; there will be some dumb people who may buy some and give it small value.   Roll Eyes

It may be a reverse ploy by banks to show that crypto won't work - to the general, uninformed public.

Surely they will set the value for citicoin. Probably it will be worth $1 or some bonus points or something like that. You dont really believe they let a coin go free whose price is valued by the market? That would be risky, what to do when it fails? And it would be contrary to how banks work. They SET the price for things.

I agree, they would set the price and then keep that price otherwise it could be complete chaos if it went down to 1 satoshi lol
2791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GDC] GadgetCoin | Smart Contracts on Hardware | IoT | M2M on: July 22, 2015, 11:43:20 AM
I'm sure Yobit will pick this up and destroy the price before it rises to a reasonable level so I will wait until then

2795  Economy / Services / Re: Start your own Data Entry Business for free and earn unlimited . on: July 21, 2015, 12:15:47 PM
There are lots of captcha sites now a days, if you are not going to start your own data entry firm, then its better you make some research before, because there are some other companies too paying more than what qlink offers... they will non pay $1 all time, in some hours they pay $1 but in some hours the rate will be around $0.35 per 1000.

Nowadays only some of them are legit and the most important thing is flow of captchas on particular server.

Only qlinkgroup, and kolitobablo, and sometimes captchatypers . These have good flow of captchas with high speed.

But only qlinkgroup is hot these days. You will never face any issue on qlink.

anyone remember CAPTcoin? you had to solve captchas to "mine" those coins. I liked the idea
Yes I remember this coin it was a novel idea, still got some kicking about somewhere

2797  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Marijuana helps broken bones heal faster, a new study has found. on: July 21, 2015, 12:00:35 PM
It really is a stupid society where we have made this illegal when it does have benefits and side effects which are far less than that of the 'legal' tax bringing drugs such as your alcohol and cigs.  There's more money in the war on drugs I suppose.

Not "we". Most people who made it illegal aren't even alive. Still, it's interesting how hard it is to change the law and people's mentality. Most of us know the law is stupid but it's still there.

The royal 'we' Smiley it does seem to be turning around though little by little especially in the states where they have a lot of places allowing some use of it, I am hoping in the next decade you can walk into a shop, tell them what you are looking for and walk away with a bag and a receipt.
2798  Economy / Gambling / Re: Formal request on sport betting on: July 21, 2015, 11:55:14 AM
Wrestling is scripted in terms of the outcome of the matches as there are ongoing storylines in play, there will be some freestyle stuff going on but the result is known so this would not make for a legit betting option, I'm talking WWE/F and the other known companies.  There are legitimate forms of wrestling but I don't think you are referring to these.
2799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC confirmation times suitable for payments scenario? on: July 21, 2015, 11:39:58 AM
Confirmations are not really required I guess most payments.. What is the chance someone would try to double spend a 3 dollar coffee?

In the example of the vehicle,  you can probably pay for the car and then do the paperwork. During that time you should have easily 3 confirmations.
A lot of the gambling sites accept just the 1 confirmation and it usually takes under a minute so it is not as bad as you think in reality.
