BUY, HODL, SLEEP REPEAT

BUY, HODL, SLEEP REPEAT

BUY, HODL, SLEEP REPEAT

Got it down to a science already.   Wink

When do you plan to reap the benefits of your strategy?  Smiley

When there are benefits to reap, my friend.  This is super early days, think of like 56K modem or Compuserve or AOL Online 5.0 of the Internet era.  This video is how everyone views Bitcoin at the moment, just replace Internet with Bitcoin:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0mg9DxvfZE

We got a long ways to go with this technology, but if you see burgeoning, growing technology, with unlimited potential, you stick with it through this building block or infrastructure stage.

Once Meema or the Old guy at library can use and transact Bitcoin easily, it'll all be worthwhile.

Got it, still waiting for the notnotbtc white paper.

BTW, if you truly want to invest, why don't you wait for the COIN ETF to launch, and put all 500,000 smackers on that.

That's one thing we could all be bullish about.
2783  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can someone tell me which is the most secure of the offline wallets? on: February 17, 2015, 03:00:35 PM
What about the safest online wallets?  As an active trader a hot wallet is a must.  Thanks!

Probably any of these Web wallets will do as long as you use 2 Factor Authentication:

https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet

Just remember that as long as you keep most of your funds in a centralized service like Coinbase or Circle, you do not own the private keys.

Basically, don't keep the majority of your wallet stash online or for a long time.  Make sure you use it as it's intended, meaning hot wallet for fast transactions and short term storage.

Got it, can't wait to see the documentation of your most excellent fool proof scheme presentation on how to get rich easy with 500,000 Euros.

BTW, can't you bail out Greece with that amount of cash.  Nah, I'm messing, that's not nearly enough....or is it?   Tongue
2785  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: February 17, 2015, 02:30:25 PM
I'm still HODLing here... Adding to my HODLings daily!

Adding to Holding --> Buying
I keep thinking in terms of equity research - Buy, Hold or Sell?

BUY, HODL, SLEEP REPEAT

BUY, HODL, SLEEP REPEAT

BUY, HODL, SLEEP REPEAT

2786  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: good mining company on: February 17, 2015, 02:28:23 PM
Cex.io is also good.

But I'm not sure if they are still mining.

Pretty sure they're dunzo.  Haven't heard about them resuming their cloud mining service yet:

http://blog.cex.io/news/cex-io-temporarily-suspends-cloud-mining-services/

AFAIK they're strictly an exchange at the moment, no cloud mining.
2787  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: good mining company on: February 17, 2015, 02:18:11 PM
thanks gusy.

please tell me , this comapny (website) is reliable ?

https://bitc1.biz/

Nope.  Guess you're only considering cloud mining.  If so, please go over this thread first:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=878387.msg9697654#msg9697654

About over 9 out of 10 cloud mining operations are ponzi schemes or scam operations.  If you still want to dive into cloud mining then the only few to consider is maybe Hashnest, AMHash, KNC Cloud, or Bit-X.

Otherwise, just stay away from cloud mining altogether.

2789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core 0.10.0 has been released on: February 17, 2015, 01:51:48 PM
Shout out to the whole Bitcoin Core team for all their work in getting us a stable version.

Will definitely give this a shot tonight.
2790  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help me understand - Who uses Faucets? , and why? on: February 13, 2015, 10:22:43 PM
Easiest answer ever.

Who uses Faucets and why?

NOOBS, because they're uninformed.  You get more money checking your couch cushions for change.
2791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card on: February 13, 2015, 10:18:05 PM
I don't think I'd want to place coins on a card like this. What would the benefit of this be instead of just converting the coins to fiat?

I don't think you would have to place your coins on the card. It's just another avenue to spend bitcoins. For instance you don't literally place fiat on your bank's debit card because it's connected to your bank account thereby giving you an additional way to access your bank account. What I am simply saying is, a Bitcoin Debit Card can be an additional and instant way to access your Bitcoin Wallet. Shocked
You have to put funds in there site to use the card. As far as I know, they have full control over it(no multisig)

Believe Xapo incorporates Multisig on their Xapo Vault service, but not sure if it's in their Xapo Wallet/Debit Card service:

2792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: How often do you check the price of bitcoin. Please VOTE on: February 13, 2015, 09:45:43 PM
I check it pretty frequently, but not minutes or realtime.

I have one tab for Preev.com and one tab for Bitcoinwisdom, in case I want to check the intraday chart.

So for me personally, I'd say once an hour.
2793  Economy / Speculation / Re: You're CrAzY if you don't sell before the hard fork. on: February 13, 2015, 09:21:41 PM
I guess I'm CrAzY also since I'm not selling either.   Cheesy

F a Hard Fork, Honeybadger don't care.

2794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Andreas Antonopoulos said Give Bitcoin Two Years on: February 13, 2015, 08:55:33 PM
Anyone that thinks Andreas Antonopolous is a dick, clown, buffoon, idiot, conman, or just random hate should get their Bitcointalk member card revoked.

Guy's done more for this community than all of us combined.  Let's all pay respects to the prophet...

2796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card on: February 13, 2015, 08:17:11 PM
If you're going to start a thread about Bitcoin Debit Cards, you'd have to start off by mentioning Xapo:

https://in.xapo.com/campaign/debit/

Unfortunately, they're not available for use in the U.S., or I'd already have one of these.
2797  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to invest on: February 13, 2015, 07:06:50 PM
The guy has taken a lot of hate for no real reason. He could be a troll or just a newb.

Yes, the place to invest and partner up with 500,000 Euros after reading the Bitcoin white paper even though English isn't your first language is the BitcoinTalk forum Beginners & Help subforum...

COME ON MAN!   Grin

You're better than that.

2798  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help getting started please! want to start mining generate some income... on: February 13, 2015, 06:58:20 PM
ahh i see, so nothing i can really do with these spare computers to make some consistant money on the side other then sell the parts obviously. ?

Ding ding ding!  We have a winner.

Unfortunately, the days of mining with CPU or GPU are long gone now.

You'd need what's called an ASIC to even mine a trivial amount of either Bitcoin or Altcoin.  With difficulty and hash rate the way it is now, you'd need a farm to even stay competitive.

Mining is a big boys game now, only industrial miners with cheap electric and a sweetheart deal with a manufacturer can keep up with the Joneses.
2799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin For Flight Tickets? on: February 13, 2015, 06:52:54 PM
All right, thanks a lot! This is getting useful.

3 companies to buy flight tickets with BTC:

http://www.sky-tours.com/
https://btctrip.com/
https://www.cheapair.com/

Back to Expedia, I'm afraid their service doesn't accept BTC in Europe.

Don't forget if you got enough BTC stashed away, you can even go to space!

Yep, the possibilities are endless with Bitcoin when you think about it.  To infinity and beyond!
2800  Economy / Speculation / Re: Winklevoss ETF and Gemini Exchange To Open... on: February 13, 2015, 05:57:52 PM
Haha that's funny, respect the reverse FUD though!

At least post a tweet, link, text message, something to validate your post.

Otherwise, seeing is believing, not rumors or hearsay.
