Without the forking wars we would be likely above 16K or so already. And looks like this segwit2x will be a drag for a while. And the more BTC keep rising the more it draws the attention of TPTB, and the more attacks we can expect from them. I would not even discard the beginning of sudden deaths among leading developers.I understand what you mean. Satoshi Nakamoto did the right thing when he disappeared from the scene back in 2010. Though the bitcoin price did not skyrocket when it hit $4,400 I am comforted by the fact that we are not in an exponential rise. This whole bull run has been fairly conservative.
I don't see a huge crash coming any time soon like we saw in 2013. If it continues it's fairly slow climb I will be pleased. Even if the climb slows to a crawl until the next quick rise.

This time the atm fee was -3.4%. They actually paid me to buy their coins. Amazing.  . holy shit! can you buy me 10K BTC at -3.4%, i'll pay you back an hour later LOL Too late. Deposit and investment will work normally and it shouldn't affect us in any way. I'm considering to stop automated withdrawal for some short period of time, until the fork is becoming more stable. This is similliar to the same statement I made when we had discussion on bitcoin unlimited.

What are your guys thoughts on this latest ICO Tezos? Do you think it has had any effect on the recent prices of bitcoin or ether? I have definitely noticed as the prices of Ethereum has dropped, the number of Ethereum contributed has definitely skyrocketed.
On the other hand, as prices of BTC have remained a little flat, the amount of bitcoin contributed to Tezos has slowed down significantly.
We usually don't talk Ethereum here and sure as hell we talk no ICO. |
