Its been few months i've decided to make rigs rather than buying pandaminer. I mine ETH only and I notice most of my GPU rigs are getting more and more slow on hashing rate. Is this just happened on me  So the performance on GPUs are decreasing over the time? what gou you have? up to 3gb gou are not suable anymore, and the 4gb will be soon over too, because ETH have a diff boom that increase regardless of mining and the dag files is getting bigger and bigger, so you can't mine with old gpu anymore |

lol they are not dropping anymore, ETH zcash and a bunch of other are very solid, there are also other small coins that are increasing, so bitcoin is not going to sink everythign else, actually now it's the time to dump your bitcoin before the split and buy altcoin, so you have a chance to have big profit because everyone will do the same |

you should have put that on tezos, to be honest it's the biggest ico and have nice future, everyone is investing there, and now with everything sinking, you have a safe bet with Tezos, but if you fear the upcoming split, why not dump your bitcoin on exchange and stay with fiat only, while they fix the chain split issue? it's a better strategy |

I get 500-550 Sol/s on a 1080. 1080's don't do ETH well right now.
500 sol is very low for a 1080, i can get 480 sol with a 1070, a 1080 should do 600 or more at least, what are your settings? are yous aving power perhaps? |

Nearly all the topics mention about the end of eth mining in a very short time. What is your strategy after eth mining dies ? Which coins you will be targeting ? I am also mining eth but would like to hear your ideas about what to do after eth ?
Many people talk about switching to Zcash but it will be the same thing if every eth miner switch to zcash . So is it best to mine underrated coins or what ? Please help a newbie to decide what to do =)

not every miner will remain operative, the very big farm with thousands of gpu i think will switch off or sell some of their miners, the same for many small miners, because there will be no more profit to remain after eth die, if now you get $2 with a gpu after ethreum die, you get almost $0 lol, because on ETH at the moment there are 2 millions gpu |

Yeah the ltc miners are very lucky, cause once it settles it never jumps again. Now for eth is different, it jumps every day and forever as long as stays pow hehe
that because they planned to activate pos at some point, and there is a difficulty boom now, which rise regardless of the hashrate, litecoin is dominant by asic, it's normal that the diff jump very high, and with the new l3 and l3+ it rise even faster, but no complain i don't like litecoin and i don't own any, i just ignore it altogether |

worst thing ever is to store on exchange, store instead on a multicoin wallet like coinomi, they are secured in your computer locally and more safe than exchange, then backup the wallet of coinomi and you are ok, against possible losses |

very simple mate, if you have bitcoin on various exchange withdrawals them all and secure them in cold storage, if you have your coins only in your local wallet, you don't need to do anything, they are secure, just don't move them in the first week of august or so to avoid trouble |
