2781  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Testing crypto trading bots with real investments - check out the results on: August 10, 2020, 07:08:39 PM
No matter how much you've succeeded with your trading bot, I am not fully convinced at all. Ain't trusting a trading bot once and for all, even if it's using AI technology. Using trading bots like this has higher risk than manually trading by ourselves.

I had a Facebook contact once who inquired to me about trading bot, and I just advice him to stay away from that because it's much more riskier as we do not make our own decisions on when to buy or sell.

Everyone had their opinions regarding the positive results they've get from these trading bots, but not me. I would rather do manual trading myself.

2782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facial Recognition Can Help to Come Out from Bitcoin Social Media Scams on: August 10, 2020, 07:03:32 PM
Facial recognition can help forestall future Bitcoin (BTC) tricks like those that hit Twitter and YouTube, said Rod Hsu, president, and fellow benefactor of the virtual cash stage Coincurve.

https://www.currencytimes.co.in/facial-recognition-can-help-from-bitcoin/

It can be a good feature to prevent on what recently happened to various Twitter accounts from several well-known personalities that are being hacked by a brilliant teenage hacker and his minions. It would likely increase security feature for good, but I wouldn't take it for granted.

The more they improve their security features such as facial recognition, the more these hackers become intelligent and will launch another innovative counter-attack to breach the system. It's much better for these social media platforms to turn into decentralization or running in the blockchain (or maybe just implement seed phrases or private keys than passwords or so), but it would take a long while either to make it happen or not at all.
2783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What we can expect the price of eth at the end of 2020? on: August 10, 2020, 06:54:43 PM
If we're going to talk something realistic, I would bet it'll touch $500 by the end of this year (or maybe less or a little more). I wouldn't expect Ethereum to go back to 4-figures this year due to the rise of decentralized finance (DeFi) industry and the much-awaited Ethereum 2.0.

I would bet on the price despite that I am not a fan of speculating prices. The market condition is very unpredictable, so there are no guarantees that our predictions would be correct.
2784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC looking for more tools to track crypto on: August 10, 2020, 06:41:41 PM
One common reason for SEC in doing this is because investors are now turning into cryptocurrency, blockchain and DeFi space, in which taxing them would be a challenge due to the market condition. On top of that, token sales are having some lack of regulation in which more and more scammers are easily exit scamming the hard-earned money of investors.

I honestly that it does make sense for them to acquire more tools in tracking down our digital assets. It's still a challenge for them until now, despite they've restricted token sales in the United States.
2785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The door is never closed to new traders on: August 10, 2020, 06:31:07 PM
Absolutely right. There's a lot of room for new traders to grow into cryptocurrency traders. Before we were professional and experienced traders, we've gone into newbies and beginners back then.

The world of cryptocurrency trading is wide open, and everyone can be better in making decisions to trade their coins or tokens. It's all about taking time to learn in trading plus managing our risks.

It's a great opportunity for us to learn cryptocurrency trading in various sources. Google and Youtube are our best friends to begin with.
2786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / IRIS staking on Rainbow.one - Which is which? on: August 10, 2020, 02:39:17 PM
I have IRIS worth almost $20 by now in my Rainbow.one wallet.

I wanna stake all of it, but I am confused about these pools that I should choose.

Can anyone give me some advice on which pool should I select in staking my IRIS tokens?

Thanks in advance!
2787  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Police arrest alleged mastermind of $722 million Bitcoin Ponzi scheme on: August 09, 2020, 07:54:41 PM
I've seen some BitClub-related ads for the past few months being promoted on Facebook. Even some Facebook contacts of mine had joined and promote BitClub whenever they like. I did warned them about it, but they choose to ignore my advice and keep inviting people to join BitClub.

There are even some strangers out there who had the guts to bombard my messenger with BitClub ads and inviting me to join. They can level up their marketing skills, but they can't easily penetrate my mind to possibly join them. Ain't a guy who ends up joining ponzi schemes like that.

It looks like they have learned their lesson after this news came out. Sorry for those who were ended up being scammed by this ponzi scheme.
2788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH will touch 10,000$ to 12,000$ at the end of 2020. on: August 09, 2020, 07:42:15 PM
I am analyser of the crypto market and this time BTC will make a great pump but i hope that the ETH will also go so much up this year and soon all the ALT coins will go up in the market.

How crazy would that be? $10k-$12k by the end of 2020? Seriously?

Although we could "crazily" speculate Ethereum or any other cryptocurrencies, it's just that we need to be realistic on that. I'm a guy who isn't a fan of speculating coin or token prices. However, at least I would love seeing Ethereum to touch at least $500 or more by the end of 2020.

$1k+ would be absurd for this year, but who knows? I could be wrong.
2789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trx or Eth ? on: August 09, 2020, 07:36:37 PM
Both of them have a lot of dapps and they could both go to the sky.
Vitalik and Justin work hard to make their coins better too so i am not sure which one could be better in the future. What do You think about this ?

I'm in for Ethereum. I've been holding this coin since it was around $200-$210 price range and right now it's treading water between $390-$395. As DeFi (decentralized finance) is on a roll, it was totally expected that Ethereum would skyrocket it's value in the long run.

Of course, I would like to see TRX grow as well (as I also hold them since 2017 and met Justin Sun twice in person)/
2790  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: in any whale or top trader here? on: August 09, 2020, 07:33:17 PM
is any top trader or good whale here??

i need someone who knows market good that he can tell me when to buy and when to sell.
i can pay but you need to be best and i need also someone who can tell me early before any big pumps might coming.

Seriously man. Why would you pay for such a meaningless pumping service? In the world of cryptocurrency trading, there are no guarantees for you to profit. Even "experts" who have great technical analysis cannot guarantee you on when to buy or sell. Anything could happen.

Back in 2018, various technical analysts predict that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies would bounce back after Consensus event (because it did pumped for consecutive years). Unfortunately, that "pump" they're talking about didn't happen and it goes down instead.

Before you go into trading, you must learn in managing your risks first. Learning how to trade while you can't manage your risks in terms of financial decisions is gonna be useless and not worth it.
2791  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hire Crypto Trader on: August 09, 2020, 07:27:04 PM
Looking for someone to run a crypto signal group.

Pay is performance based. The better you do, the more you earn.

I would need to understand how you trade, so what leverage, how many take-profit targets, frequency of signals etc

Reach out to @SteReoby on Telegram if interested.

Why can't you just learn to trade by yourself? Let's say that someone had accepted your offer, there are no guarantees that his or her trades are profitable. You know why? It's because the market itself is so freaking unpredictable. I mean seriously, it's unpredictable. You are only guaranteed with losing.

It's better to learn how to trade by yourself rather than outsourcing it to someone else. There are many platforms out there that you can learn trading such as Youtube, NewsCrypto, Udemy, etc.

And of course, you are posting it on the wrong section. Much better if you post this on the Services section.
2792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥[BOUNTY] ReferCoins: Easiest Way to Earn BTC [Join Now!]🔥🔥🔥 on: August 08, 2020, 03:31:55 PM
I just requested withdrawal. How long does it take for me to receive e-mail confirmation code? Is it not instant? Until now I haven't received it.

I've also checked spam folder but no new email as well. Can you help me address this issue?

Thanks in advance!
2793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason hunters dump reward as soon as received. Trust Exchange etc on: August 07, 2020, 05:50:51 AM
If these projects don't really want bounty hunters to dump, they should have paid them in BTC, ETH, etc., rather than in their own tokens. We can't blame bounty hunters to sell their tokens, because they've worked hard for it. They've spent their time, effort and skills to promote that project, and they deserved to get compensated fair and square.

The project team are the ones responsible for that. There is a project where they had too much giveaway to their community, in which results for their token dump in the exchange after the bounty program. They must do something to balance such as limiting the number of quality participants, reducing the reward pool and distribute it on a staggered basis for a few months to control the price.

2795  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Actual Blockchain Games on: August 06, 2020, 06:25:06 AM
I tried to launch War Riders game after installation. Unfortunately, my Avast antivirus detected something here:

I've played Twisted Metal when I was still in high school with the classic Playstation One console. I could have been excited in playing War Riders, but this threat came out.

I don't know if this is really a "threat file" found in War Riders game that could compromise my PC. Can someone enlighten me on this for me to play War Riders safely?

Thanks!
2796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beirut explosion - Lesson to learn from this. on: August 06, 2020, 04:06:52 AM
People can quickly become complacent to think that their single location storage of their Bitcoin hoard would be enough. We all saw how 300 000 people have lost their houses in as little as a few seconds.

The Beirut explosion should be a wake-up call to all of us, to store your Paper wallets and cold wallets in more than one geographical location. A national disaster or a accident like this might wipe out your house and if you used that as your primary hiding place, you would lose more than your house.

After a disaster like this, bulldozers are brought in and only the foundations might be left after they are done. (So hiding it in a safe or a wall or the roof is a bad idea.)

Make sure you have several copies of your Paper wallets/Private keys and store them in separate locations. You might not even be at home when a disaster like this happens and when you return, the authorities might stop you from entering the devastated area. (due to instability of structures or chemical/gas leaks.) So you will not have a opportunity to retrieve your stash.

Wake up and act now... before it is too late.  Wink

I was thinking the same thing. I watched that footage from various angles and it was horrifying. Imagine if I were the one recorded that video, I would have instantly suffered severe anxiety and panic attack while running away for life.

Which is why having them stored in one place isn't ideal. I have a notebook where I stored all of my private keys, mnemonic phrases, and other details, etc., but it seems that I need to store them in more than one source (I did store some in my Google Drive and USB drive just in case).
2797  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Businesses in Manila accepting crypto as payment (hotels groceries, cars, houses on: August 05, 2020, 10:34:43 AM

2798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What difficulty do you face on trading bitcoin? on: August 05, 2020, 10:20:43 AM
Here in the Philippines, I see no difficulty in trading Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. It’s because Philippines is a crypto-friendly country, allowing it as payment method and trading to other cryptos or fiat conversion. It is well-regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) as well and multiple VCEs also approved by them.

The only difficulty that I’ve faced in terms of Bitcoin trading is decision-making on when to buy or sell due to the unpredictable market conditions nowadays.
2799  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Buhay pa ba talaga si LoyalCoin? on: August 05, 2020, 10:04:29 AM
Magandang hapon sa lahat!

Nakita ko sa official Telegram channel ng LoyalCoin yung latest tungkol sa kanila.

Ito yung mensahe sa kanilang latest banner at I quote ko:

“Dear Loyalists,

We are happy to announce that the virtual demo of Appsolutely, Inc. with the BSP is scheduled tomorrow (August 6, 2020). This is the final stage of our VCE and EPFS application. Thank you for the continued support and we ask for everyone’s prayers.

Thank you!

- Management Team”

Sa tingin nyu ba buhay pa itong LoyalCoin talaga? Since 2017 kasi ako bumili nito at nag ho-hold.

Salamat!
2800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is 5 years old today! on: August 05, 2020, 09:55:49 AM
Just like Bitcoin, I’ve regretted not knowing Ethereum and not taking cryptocurrencies seriously when they’re created. I could have bought a lot of it, especially Bitcoin and other ones and making a fortune by now.

Yeah I know how it feel not riding the wave a few years ago, but it is what it is. I’m still happy right now that I bought a little of it when it was around $200-$210, and now $390+ as of this time of writing.

There’s a good chance that DeFi projects would make ETH’s price on a continuous roll, and ETH 2.0 is on the way.
