2781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 15, 2022, 11:11:20 AM
So excited with achievement result getting by Real Madrid after defeating Real Mallorca 3-0 and now behind 10 points from Sevilla, left 10 match later I think Madrid could close step as the winner maybe 7 match later if success get all points and waiting what achievement from Sevilla match, maybe if Sevilla keep not consistent have chance early for Real Madrid as La Liga winner, but not easy because next week have Barcelona as elclasico match and looks interested because Barcelona have top perform right now and looks better than first half match when Real Madrid success winning on first el clasico match.

Barcelona VS Real Madrid will be a very interesting match to watch as I have noticed that since the beginning of the year, all of Real Madrid's marches have been either a win or a draw and there has never been a loss for them and the same for Barcelona, they have won and drawn their last sixth matches and what is more entertaining about them is that they have been winning 4 goals in most of their matches. It's very likely that their match will conclude 1-1, and I'll raise a glass to Benzema when he is named man of the match.
2782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blame Game in gambling on: March 15, 2022, 10:48:31 AM
One factor that leads to suicide is debt. I don't know if the young gambler is eligible to borrow in Europe but, the Government frown against that I could remember when a Gambling company was sanctioned for sending out spam messages through email about their gambling platform. Nobody should be blamed about his death. Regarding the fact that it's not quite clear despite his parent's blame on his gambling addiction that it's what caused his death. This is just one part of his habits that they know about. He could have other kinds of lifestyles which must have lead to his suicidal action. One thing is for sure, maybe he is indebt or borrowed to gamble and lost it all.

That factor wouldn't count unless the debtor won't have the capacity to pay back the debt and that's when the thought of suicide begins to set in before they finally give the thought in and choose the wrong step of life.
There was a particular thread I replied how a family friend lost his master's funding to gambling, he was losing it until he realised he had just less than $200 out of $8000 that was given to him as an initial deposit, he drink a sniper (pesticide) but was later rush to the hospital when they discovered and luckily, he survived. The Mum and other siblings never knew him as a gambler because he is the silent type. So, the Moral story is that parent do try their possible best to protect every child but they have a limit on how they can protect their child.

Honestly ATM does look like they are doing fine and they have a chance. However, as we have remembered again, it all depends on Ronaldo once again. If Ronaldo decides to win a game, he is capable of winning a game and that will most probably what will happen on this one as well.

Messi just got eliminated from champions league, and Ronaldo is coming off a new hattrick game and I am sure that he will want to succeed to once again show the world that he is a better player than Messi. Will he succeed? I do not know, maybe he will fail, but at the end of the day when Ronaldo is reaching for a goal that harshly, it is not common for him to fail.

So, because Messi couldn't make it to the finish line of the champions league, it has made him become less of a man while Ronaldo remains greatest Sad  Don't be surprised if Manchester gets eliminated by Atletico today, Ronaldo was privileged in their visit to Metropolitano and it was a shame to draw with them, to even say they Atletico scored in less than 7 minutes of the march until Man United struggle to equalize in 79 minutes. It shows that Atletico is prepared and are ready for Manchester United.
2784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 14, 2022, 07:26:08 PM
All the teams above Manchester United have played fewer matches than them, and especially Arsenal who surpassed them has played three matches less than them.

Now, it seems highly unlikely for Manchester United to get back into the top 4. I think they are not going to make it this season.  Manchester United really need to start playing as teamwork otherwise I think they will go further down the points table

With only three outstanding matches, Arsenal can cause a fracas in the table by competing with Chelsea if they can win 3 matches, but you know Liverpool's history with the Gunners, they are always difficult to defeat, but based on their recent performance, they can easily bypass Aston Villa and either win 3-1 for Crystal Palace. With these 6 point wins, Arsenal no longer needs to compete with Manchester United for fourth place, the new goal is to compete with Chelsea. I want to see Arsenal finish this season EPL with 3rd place.  Cheesy
2785  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Drake became partners of the Stake Casino on: March 14, 2022, 07:00:08 PM

Popular celebs have a lot of fans and it can influence them to play on the same platform their idol is playing, the marketing spend by casino is going to be worth it. They can recover it and make more than it.

That's the expectation why he becomes an ambassador of Stake, without good result, it's a dead investment on the part of stake.com. So, this automatically means that stake is going globally as they hire a popular artist worldwide and you know what influence can do.

They don't need to pay all of the world's celebrities to spread the word about stake casino. You see, celebrities have such a strong effect, fans are willing to do, say, or wear anything their favourite artists do, say, or wear. If you look at a celebrity's life, you'll see that the majority of the products they use are simply sponsors, they don't own them, they only use them to get their fans to use them as well. That's precisely what Drake is doing, and that is why the first game he played I never believed he actually did it for fun but for partnership between stake and Drake management.
2786  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What newbies first crypto step should be on: March 14, 2022, 06:33:04 PM
Newbies first step should be enhance their knowledge in crypto. Learn how the blockchain works, learn what are the technical and fundamental analysis, explore their trading plan, risk management and many more. I highly suggest that they should have their own mentor in trading. This will surely help them a lot because someone will guide their crypto journey. If they can't afford having a mentor, they will take a lot of time to enhance and sharpen their skills because they will hone their own skills without copying other techniques.

Technical analysis is referred to the technicalities of trading, I think you are trying to say that  technical part of Bitcoin which of course is a mandatory part everyone may want to learn.

2787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Huge Future Bitcoin Holders! on: March 14, 2022, 04:05:57 PM
those who are having bitcoin's have a bright future bcoz it is one of the top most business activity and ledging business in todays and futre generation .lot of surveys says that have huge future to bitcoin holders and traders in this digital world  I do agree with you that if a person HODLs at least their BTCs, you can acquire and take advantage of its volatility for maximum profit.

Do they have advantages because it will help them pump their few dollars or because it protects wealth against the original inflation we have been fighting worldwide? There are other firms that have invested billions of dollars in other assets as a hedge against inflation and are doing well without owning bitcoin.
The thing is, bitcoin beat other assets in many ways but has in own flaws too and having a single UTXO of it as an investment is one of the best decision anyone would make today, nobody knows what tomorrow will tell but sure it has a way increase in price by virtue of its demand and supply.
2788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Wont Sell his Bitcoin on: March 14, 2022, 03:36:57 PM
This mean people who have Bitcoin are strong hands and not a newbie anymore, such news should had no impact to Bitcoin's price. Those influencer/celebrities thought they've sufficient followers to control their minds and the market, they want to take advantages to pump and dump Bitcoin. When they want to buy Bitcoin, they create fake news about Bitcoin consume a lot energy and told he sold his coins. When they want to sell Bitcoin, they pretending to be Bitcoin's supporter and hold until it reach new ATH. Pathetic.

Anytime you see Elon tweets related to bitcoin, doge and Ethereum, try and go through the replies below his tweet, you will have pity for lots of people who lose money through crypto just by following Elon tweets. Normally, he isn't to be blamed for the casualties, how people swear on him for losing their homes and life savings but in some ways, he was the fuel who form the 3 components of fire.
People are lazy and make stupid decisions, instead of them to focus on research on the doings of bitcoin, they would rather follow a recommendation, they always forget that the riches get richer without doing anything.
2789  Economy / Scam Accusations / Another Fake Gate.io exchange (2&3) on: March 14, 2022, 03:11:22 PM
About three weeks ago, I reported how fake exchanges appeared in search engines, particularly Google, it was reported on this thread and with some help, the scam was removed, but another one has been set up, and I am positive that the scammers are getting people, otherwise, they would not have set up another fake gate.io exchange.
This time, I noticed something odd, when I first searched for Gate exchange, the fake one was displayed at the top, and I copied the link and when I was about to open this thread, something told me to re-enter the words into Google, and this time, the second scam name that displayed was different from the first one, it now turns out that there two different scam websites(domains) mimicking real gate exchange design by one person.

The names of the two scams website are:
Code:
https://ggatte-io.com/login/

Code:
https://gati-io.com/login

They both appear the same by design, have the same functionality, but are on separate domains, who knows if one is a backup in case Google finds out and takes one down, they will simply move to the second one.
Be careful of how you used search engines, don't make use of search engines to look for exchanges.
2790  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Does This Always happen? on: March 13, 2022, 10:50:39 PM
This image illustrates an excellent example of shitcoins, this is what happens if you keep shitcoins. Take a quick look at the YTD bitcoin chart, you'll be proud of the chart and wish you were one of the early investors. None of the images above, in reality, illustrate or demonstrate what the bitcoin chart is all about.
There are certain altcoins that have benefited some people, and I believe image 1 illustrates this, but as you can see in the last image, it has caused other people to dislike crypto and even regard it as a horrible scheme that they would never participate in again.
2791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TRX Mining [Scam] on: March 13, 2022, 10:32:58 PM
know what? We contribute to these scams and prefer the quick way of making money without learning otherwise these scams I learned has existed for a long time, it has been built by many and has collapsed multiple times and it surprised me that people are still hanging up on these rubbish schemes
There's also this new thing I learned about why people participate in this, it's not that they don't know it's a scam, they're well aware of how the scheme will end, but they believe that by being early users, they'll have made some money before it crashes. You know, scammers are always two steps ahead of those who refuse to learn from their mistakes.

Please report any scams you come across outside Bitcointalk to the scam accusation board, this helps to maintain user's safety.
2792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs in UK Declared as Illegal on: March 12, 2022, 06:23:33 PM
So, I just seen 1 post from a FB page regarding this, and then tried to see if it was true...

Just yesterday, 11th of March, Bitcoin ATMs are declared illegal in the UK by their regulator Financial Conduct Authority or the FCA.  They said that the owners of these machines should stop operating or else they will be sanctioned.

As of writing this post, there are 70 Bitcoin ATMs/Tellers in United Kingdom based from the data on Coin ATM Radar.

I was just wondering, how will these kind of actions by some regulatory body affects bitcoin and its value? Any thoughts?

Sources:
beincrypto.com
blockworks.co

It wouldn't have any impact on it price, just a regular bad day for bitcoin. It is just the use of ATM machine and it possible that the regulators are trying to put things in place for everyone safety.
As long as bitcoin isn't ban, the use will remain and there will be a demand to allow the use if these machines, you can even see that bitcoin price is still where it was opened today, no loss nor significant gains.
2793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 12, 2022, 06:02:25 PM
Benzema was always second choice when Ronaldo was in Real Madrid that's just the way it was even when he had clear shot at goal the fans including would prefer he pass the ball Ronaldo. We wanted Ronaldo to have the goals to win the Ronaldo - Messi contest.  The departure of Christaino Ronaldo from Ronaldo gave room for Benzema to shine. PSG match was the perfect opportunity for Benzema to show the world how good he is and he outshined Kylian Mbappe who in the first had everyone's attention.

Benzema is an old player that is match for Messi during real Madrid and PSG match but it was as if Messi presence wasn't notice during the match and that worry me about his career. Despite been the same age, Messi remain the goat when compared to Benzema in history performance but I think Messi may exit playing after PSG contract. Mbabe is still the hot cake that even managed to help them conceide 1 goal but it all went south at the end.
2794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 12, 2022, 12:03:15 AM
Manchester United game against Atletico Madrid is a tough one and I think Atletico Madrid will win the game because there players got gut and they have Diego simeone who have lot of experience in this tournament, Manchester United are very low in confidence right now so it will be very difficult for them.

Knockout stage matches don't go as we expect sometime, I was so emotional and embarrassed that PSG couldn't make it to UCL despite the fact that they bought Mess and Neymar for that and still wanting to keep Mbape.
Aggregates of 1:1 is hard to predict, even the odds aren't so different but I will stay on neutral ground with whoever make it to next stage.
2795  Economy / Gambling / Re: Join a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms on: March 11, 2022, 11:45:24 PM
Do you really believe in sanctions? Tell me how change the politics in North Korea or Iran? They are much smaller then Russia but i don`t see how their leaders cry and change politics. And when we are talking about North Korea - this country has no any resources and no possibilities to make problems to USA or EU but sanctions does not work even with such small country. Why do you think they will work with Russia?

The  two countries you made mentioned are two different things to be compare to Russia. First North Korea has been into autocratic system of government and with the fact that media and the west painting them red flags, half of the country haven't one day say they need democracy and so do Iran with theocracy where things might be hard for you to stay in.
Russia is a fully democratic system where everyone is open to right to freedom and live their life to the fullest, those sanctions may not work Iran and North Korea but it will greatly have negative effects on Russians, Chelsea owner is facing the heat right now. Grin Grin
2796  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scalpers and day traders - Never lie, be realistic. on: March 11, 2022, 11:29:08 PM
I have been into trading from the beginning of 2020 and it is 2 years now, I have been losing right from the start up to now. I have read it before that most traders later become swing traders after many losses, I have becoming to think this is true because I have been losing ever since.

I have seen the market to be volatile for two years now, I have made some analyses to later know that swing trading is better than scalping and day trading, I can be wrong but I am right that most traders will make profit in swing trading than scalping and day traidng because the later are riskier.

This is not about swing trading though but about scalping and day trading, are you making profit from it? Maximum number of votes is 3 for each and everyone.

Day trading is a full time job, so I will skip that due to nature of my external lifestyle, I hardly sit down all days for now so I scalp the ones on my favorite when I see the opportunity to make some moves.
Trading is hard, I wouldn't lie to you especially now that bitcoin is doing zigzag movement from the beginning of this year, it's too difficult to guess where it's heading. It's better we wait for the politics and propaganda to end before we make any in trading soon.
2797  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you using trading indicators? on: March 11, 2022, 11:21:13 PM
Just the 3 default is okay for me, the Moving average, volume and the Macd. You can switch between others but the 3 is just okay for  me to do simple trades with an external information like when they(pairs) had an upcoming events or listing, it makes scalping very easy with setting out plenty of indicators done by experts.
I have also noticed that some people go extra mile to do subscription without even understanding the indicators. In fact, they don't know that some this thing lag and before they give you any hint on the market, it will be late before you are supposed to open long or short and also when to close short or long.
2798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can't MetaMask be trusted from now on? on: March 11, 2022, 05:49:54 PM
I am trying to figure out the background of Aaron Davis (founder of Metamask), but I couldn't find any information about him online. I learned he used to work for Apple[1], so I guess maybe he is from the US, otherwise, it doesn't make sense for a decentralized extension to be a resistance to people.
Other alternatives for communicating with Ethereum DApps are available, your recovery phrase will get you all of your private keys on Metamask, kindly export them into another one.

2799  Economy / Gambling / Re: Join a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms on: March 10, 2022, 09:58:38 PM
Russia is in deep trouble now. There is so much else for the Russian government to worry about than on the gambling industry. The sanctions and bans from all over the world is a stab in their chest. I wonder how the government is bearing all the pain of international sections and the trouble they got from around the world. The economic sections are going to affect a long way. I wish like the war has been cursed and the world tries to cool the situation down, the same would happen for other countries in trouble.

You see my friend, Russia was prepared else they would have stopped their troops when delegates were sent to make peace but even within that period, they were still penetrating the Ukraine. I'm really looking how this sanctions will end though it doesn't make sense for the innocent business to suffer because a leader was mislead by his factions.
Many people depend on their business to feed, give sanctions to the persons holding power and not the man who see politics as a dirty game.
2800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 09, 2022, 09:31:19 PM
The Second half of PSG vs Real Madrid has just started:

Real Madrid can get a goal in this second half because it will be a huge insult to Madrid if they play Madrid first and second leg without getting a goal. But I don't think Madrid can survive this match, even if they can get a goal, the psg side are not even tired of scoring more goals. Madrid chances are slim.
I cannot stop admiring the skills and strength of Vinicius Jr, if Madrid has another young blood like him at the front they can upturn the game. Meanwhile the whole play is not boring.

Is it a disrespect to Madrid because key players like Vinicius and Benzema play there? It turns out that Benzema has done the trick, but the match still appears to be tough, as if they are both sharing yellow cards.
The game is likely to result in a penalty kick if Real Madrid puts in one more attempt and manages to win by a score of 2-1, bringing their aggregate to a tie.
