Apart from Casemiro, Real Madrid have many other famous midfielders in their arsenal who will fill the gap of Casemiro.Celta beat Vigo by four goals in the last match. Real Madrid dominated the entire game and I didn't notice the lack of Casemiro.
Real Madrid philosophy to let their players go whenever they want is another level. Even for top players. It is more than professionalism, it is about loyalty and respect to the club and the fans.
Real Madrid will find another strategy and will move forward. I assume nothing will hit them harder than losing CR7 in attack and Ramos in defence.
Yesterday winning with 4 goals was impressive. Today we will see 2 hard games involving ATM - Villarreal and Barcelona - Sociedad!

Borussia Dortmund's scoring is one of the most bizarre I've ever seen. 2-0 to the 89th minute! And then you don't make it up that it's going to be 2-3 more. I actually didn't even expect that Werder Bremen would score another goal. A draw was actually already out of the question when it was 2-0. 2-1 could still be possible. This is typical for a club like Dortmund, I mean at Bayern Munich we wouldn't see this. It will be a long and difficult season for Dortmund in this way.
That was the worst scenario that I believe no one could expect it to happen and worst, it was done to Dortmund! In the last 8 minutes of the game, they received 3 goals, incredible!
What makes the day even special is to see Leverkusen defeat by 3-0 and Leipzig losing its game too.
2783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 20, 2022, 08:33:38 PM
The game just started a few minutes ago, but so far we haven't seen the dominance of Real Madrid. Is this a bad sign for Real Madrid?. If we look at the history of these two teams meeting, Real Madrid have never even lost in their last 12 meetings. Surely this match should be a very easy match for Real Madrid to win.
Celta Vigo 1-1 Real Madrid, both goals scored by penalties in less than 30 minutes. There is still time for Real Madrid to score more goals but they need to be more threatening..
2784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 20, 2022, 08:26:42 PM
2-0 for Inter.

They are going to lead the leaderboard but most of the big teams will play tomorrow.

Can't see a comeback for Spezia right now.
Spezia almost didn't threaten Inter goalie.. Inter added the 3rd goal and with less than 10 minutes in the game, even Real Madrid won't do a comeback Roll Eyes
In the other game, Sassuolo is still leading with 1 goal vs Lecce.
2785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 20, 2022, 08:18:37 PM
Monaco had one of the worst days in their life. The statistics of the match is obviously misleading. Because it shows like Monaco were even slightly better. However Lens destroyed them once again after doing so last season. This 4-1 win is even more embarrassing for Monaco. They are just unlucky and clumsy when it comes to playing against Lens. But I don't expect this to reflect on their effort in the next match.
Monaco defeat was unexpected. Monaco getting 4 goals was a surprise! I agree with the word destruction, since that was a very bad one before facing PSG in the next round!
Marseille 0-0 Nantes after 58 minutes of the game. If the match ends like that it will be a dramatic season for real.
2786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 20, 2022, 08:12:09 PM
Fulham are off to a good start in the Premier League... First they didn't lose to Liverpool, now they've won the Man U killers Brentford... Grin But what pleased me most was Bobby Reid's quick goal... Hope they keep it up all season and stay on for next season... Fulham are playing better than the other newbies so far...
The starting doesn't look bad for them, 5 points in 3 games including Liverpool. Wolves aren't fine and they managed to beat Brentford at the end of the game.
They need to keep such results to stay in EPL. Meanwhile, Wolves, Everton and Leicester are in a very bad positions after 3 rounds. I assume ManU and West Ham will keep bad results too this round.. Arsenal in the other hand is interesting, winning big.
2787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 19, 2022, 11:46:44 PM
Bonucci is broken and he will probably skip the next game.

It is already emergency for Juventus after 1 game Roll Eyes
He already missed many games in the previous season and now after just 1 match played, he got an injury. Well it appears to be a muscular one so he should be present vs Roma next week.
Now, Juve has Pogba , Di Maria and Bonucci out for a while..

Tomorrow we have Lyon vs Troyes. Lyon is better while Troyes failed twice so it should be a win for Lyon.
Lyon is not necessarily winning even has a 70% chance and playing at home Because Lacazette still has not shown his performance yet after getting it from Arsenal. As a real attacker, Lacazette is not so sharp in front and the opponent can still read where his moving area is, so if he does not improve in the next match, maybe Lyon can win only 1 different goal, or possibly draw.
It isn't about how fit a player or not but when your opponent is failing your chances become big and even bigger when your players improve. Lacazette scored a goal and Lyon won with 4 goals to 1 Wink

Erik Ten Hag has said once again, Ronaldo is part of the plan and he doesn't know why Ronaldo is the main focus and the player is off limits as Manchester United won't accept any bid for him.  Monchenglabach leads at halftime with a goal from spot kick.
Dortmund rejected him too since he is old and expensive. So far the only teams that want him are Sporting as free transfer, a Saudi club for much money and a Brazilian or South American one if I am not mistaken!
For M'Gladbach they won 1-0 and Hertha seems to continue getting poor results this season too.
2790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 19, 2022, 11:28:18 PM
Maguire is more ready or looking likely to leave.
Chelsea have made planss for him, they should be fast about that.
Else Barcelona goes from behind to go and hijack the player over to Spain.
Dunno why Barca would like to make its defence weaker? I find the best comment to Musk joke about buying ManU = send Maguire to Mars Tongue

Another poor result for Sevilla on the second week.
This result confirms my suspicions and what I said earlier about Sevilla not being in top of the ranking this season.. They played vs middle table teams so far...very promising Undecided
2791  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for August on: August 19, 2022, 11:22:21 PM
The amount of resistance there is incredible... Moving up $24k isn't sustainable at all and with the current sudden crash, I am wondering what's going on...
August isn't the best month for bitcoin to surge, yet I voted yes, since I am always optimistic and after this $3m crash there will be a rise again.
2792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 18, 2022, 09:19:36 PM
Yes, Atletico Madrid has great potential to interfere with Real Madrid's chances of defending the title.  My prediction this season is that the La Liga title race will be competitive again, even though many people still favor El Real.
It's still too early to say who can compete with Real Madrid in La Liga. Atlético start the last season also not bad, but then even Barcelona, which had a very difficult season, managed to get ahead them. So far, Real Madrid looks like the favorite for me, and in order not to get too far ahead, let's look at Saturday's match against Celta. I think that it will not be a problem for Real Madrid to beat them for odds 1.7, which is not bad at all.
The teams that get used to stay in top will remain there with slight change for the ranking. I assume ATM, Real Madrid and Barcelona will get 3 spot for CL. Sevilla might lose its spot for Villarreal, Betis or Sociedad but it is early to judge according to the current results we see. The transfer window didn't close yet and every team could reinforce its squad including Barca! I can't believe when I read every so on a new name they are trying to sign!
2793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 18, 2022, 09:12:35 PM
btw snipie aren't you playing the Champions League pool? PSG picks maybe? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5408229.msg60662315#msg60662315
No, I didn't participate, I don't have intention right now but I might consider it in the future Wink

Tomorrow we have Lyon vs Troyes. Lyon is better while Troyes failed twice so it should be a win for Lyon. For Saturday, Monaco - Lens will be interesting and of course for Sunday, it is PSG - Lille. Monaco and PSG are favourites for bookies and I think the same with a possible draw in Monaco game.
2794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 18, 2022, 09:02:28 PM
Liverpool against Manchester United will be a big win for Liverpool this season as the club have lost to some other smaller clubs and played draw in all their games with no point on the premiere table this season, but if they failed to utilize this chance am afraid it will become hard for Liverpool to go far in this round.
Liverpool failed to win so far and assuming they are willing to win and the current poor performance of ManU, I am afraid they might get another humiliation this weekend..
ManU is willing to sign up to 5 players including Antony and Casemiro. ATM refused a huge offer for Joao Felix from ManU and Leeds refused to let their goalkeeper leave to them. The situation is still bad even in signing..
2795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Qualifying 5/07/22 on: August 18, 2022, 08:26:45 PM
Interesting that Koln immediately conceded two goals from Fehervar after the red card... They weren't such clear favourites to fall apart after the loss of one player... West Ham have not looked very convincing so far either, scoring one goal in the first half... They are no better than Viborg in terms of shooting statistics... The only thing is that Villarreal justify their status as favourites...
Epic fail for many teams that I thought could win their games. That's why I hate early stages of UEFA competitions since you never know how weird it ends!
Praha, Young Boys, Nice, Koln lost their matches. I could understand the defeat of the first two but It is incredible to see the last two losing!
West Ham scored 3 for now, Villarreal scored 4, Fiorentina and Partizan are leading. At least there is expected results here after all..
2796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Qualifying 4/08/22 on: August 18, 2022, 08:19:08 PM
interesting thread, did not see this thorough voting on other places, and just few votes, mostly Manchester, Arsenal, Rome, Lazio
There isn't many votes here since this topic is relatively new and many people didn't notice it yet (and others avoided it since it is anti-spam imo).
The ones that voted for ManU wouldn't do it if they saw how epic they are performing right now but all can change later (or not Roll Eyes ).
For Arsenal, I am the only one that supported them until now Grin and they didn't fail at least until now in EPL.
In this stage, It is hard to follow everything and they aren't that interesting mostly. Olympiacos and Sheriff just managed to get 1 point, the other known teams won except Gent.

Elon Musk is joking when he said that he will buy Manchester United.
You can't say for sure that he is joking, what if he isn't and he is just hinting on his future plans. IMO it may not turn out so bad. I have have any exact and particular reason to support my claim, but I just feel so.
 Cry
I did my search before saying that he was joking. Yet I believe that he has a hidden message to pass. A long running joke he said...

Code:
"No, this is a long-running joke on Twitter. I'm not buying any sports teams," Musk posted, when asked if he was serious.

"Although, if it were any team, it would be Man U," he added. "They were my fav (sic) team as a kid."

Source

BTW, talking about Liverpool's failure up there. It is sad to see them getting such bad results since the beginning..
2798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Qualifying 5/07/22 on: August 17, 2022, 08:59:47 PM
-snip-
Partizan is a quite good team and I don't think they will get kicked at this stage.
APOEL is a known team that was beaten with 3 goals vs a team from Sweden!
Tomorrow there is many games and I think Praha, Young Boys, Koln, Villarreal, West Ham and Fiorentina won't have hard moments. Otherwise, Nice, Wien, Antwerp, Sofia games aren't that obvious tho.
2799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Qualifying on: August 17, 2022, 08:25:04 PM
Benfica is up against Dinamo, and they will probably end up qualifying for group stage
-snip-
Benfica is leading with 2 goals after 60 minutes of the game against Kyiv. So far it is a reassuring result if they could keep it that way or add another goal.
Zvezda is behind after receiving another goal, 3-2..
I didn't check Bodo result but they won against Zagreb!
Overall, a part Benfica (until now), second leg will be difficult for all teams since the goals difference aren't that big
2800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 17, 2022, 08:07:08 PM
I have no idea if Musk is interested in a club, it's a businessman and business, and that doesn't go hand in hand with United. They have enough problems and don't even play champions league this year. Musk can buy almost any company he wants. United is a big name, but from a sporting point of view it is not good. And being completely last after 2 matches is also a good result. I do wonder how much time Ten Hag will have before they intervene. Suppose they have won 1 x and lost 5 x after 6 matches, isn't it time to send them away and get a trainer with a lot of experience? Ferguson could get them out of this lousy situation.
Elon Musk is joking when he said that he will buy Manchester United.
Obviously I doubt about him being 100% not serious, he has a point or two to check, the reaction of the club, the popularity of the tweet or if there is a stock movement...
I prefer to not see him involving in football, he did enough damage everywhere (tweeter, crypto...)
