2781  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin centralization and governmet control on: September 30, 2020, 08:19:26 AM
I don't think not processing their transactions is a good move at all because one of the biggest steps done by the authorities is tracking them through the transactions they have made and simply not just blacklisting all the transactions they are seeing.  I know the authorities have the power to do these but I don't think they want this to happen in the first place that's why we only see enforcement of KYC and AML procedures from happening to the Bitcoin network and also of course them knocking to all the crypto related services we have as the more coverage they have the more chances they can track down these criminals.

True, blacklisting is not anymore necessary, what the government are really doing is they monitor transactions and if you do an illegal activities, it's easier to tract the transaction as it's in the public blockchain, we have regulated gambling sites, exchanges (local and international), and other forms, if they regulate that they can impose a KYC, yes, that's what they will do so if one would cash out from illegal source of transaction, they can easily find it.

if they'll ban mixers, that would make their job easier.
2782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: September 30, 2020, 07:43:28 AM
I want to see how he will try His best to at least win over a boxer since He is  Mix Martial Arts fighter and has already Lose once in this Ring.

if he wasn't KO on floyd's fight, he will be in this fight I believe.
I think so too. The difference on the Floyd-Connor fight is both of them most do care on money, I suppose and with Floyd's style on boxing it wouldn't be that surprising that no KO happens. This time it will be different Pacquiao do really fight for glory, well, almost all of his fights we do expect a KO.

Fans are looking for KO, I would love to watch this if the fight will not be for entertainment only, we deserved a real fight,I don't mind Conor running around or not throwing a lot of punches as long as money will take this seriously, it would be a notable fight if there's a KO and it should Conor since he is not a pro in this sport in reality.
2783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Yearly Lows on: September 29, 2020, 10:41:36 PM
With the remaining months for this year, there's still ample time for it to go down but I'm not that pessimistic to think it will break the yearly low pattern.
Well, for the next years I hope that we get to see a higher yearly low as it's such nice to see a pattern like this when others are very much disappointed whenever bitcoin corrects.

I think the lowest price this year is still there but will not touch under $ 7000, but for the next year may no longer the lowest price for bitcoin has been closely aligned with the price of gold or even exceeded.

There is no assurance with that, you can't predict the crypto market, it's hard to do that, it looks good now but one day it could also dump hard where people will be crying because they got FOMO and they have to panic sell. This isn't for everyone, the volatility is too high, if you don't trust crypto, you'll end up losing every time the price dump as you'll certainly panic.

Yes, it looks like we have a good market this year, price does not start good but it's quite stable now, we have stayed at over $10k for awhile now, but there's no guarantee, the last 3 months, a lot of things could happen.
2784  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New to signature campaigns, questions. on: September 29, 2020, 10:17:18 PM
Enjoy the privilege for being enrolled in a campaign, but you can consider that as a job since there is no job security, campaign could stop anytime and it will left you hanging while you are still looking for some campaign where you can work again. I hope being active in the forum will not only be dictated by the reward of posting, that would not give a quality result as a poster.
2785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you prefer? Live casino games or slots? on: September 29, 2020, 12:49:58 PM
I wouldn't choose any, it's hard to win on these, I'd rather choose betting on live in sports. Live casino games or slots, I think you don't have an edge or these as these games can only be won according to your luck, no one is lucky all the time, so I stay away if I want to focus on a certain game, it must be in sports.
2786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: September 29, 2020, 12:26:44 PM
Looks Like Conor again wanted to try His skills over Boxers?
He has no skills in boxing, maybe know how to box but no skill, his skill is in UFC, he gotta stay there.
Pacman have an easy fight for easy money, if money is main purpose, he will take this.

because after Floyd Mayweather now he will try the second most popular Boxer of our time Manny Pacquiao.

I want to see how he will try His best to at least win over a boxer since He is  Mix Martial Arts fighter and has already Lose once in this Ring.

if he wasn't KO on floyd's fight, he will be in this fight I believe.
2787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 29, 2020, 08:49:10 AM
Game 1 NBA Finals, who is riding with the current trend?
I am riding with the trend, though both teams are good in defense but they are extremely good with their offense, so I doubt that trend would change.
If the first game will not reach 200 points for both teams, I might do the under for the rest of the series.

Heat vs Celtics and Lakers vs Nuggets series are mostly a high scoring game, so I'm thinking I'll be following that in game 1 of the NBA finals.

You think it's still gonna hit? Grin

I think so, the stats you've shared here says it all.
2788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: September 29, 2020, 08:16:58 AM
I think he had lost the enthusiasm once the taste the huge pay check fighting Floyd Mayweather. And he knows that no Dana or at least the UFC can't give him that, not even fighting Khabib. So his only options is to chase Manny and probably retire for good.
There is a big difference in both these fights, when Conor McGregor fought Floyd Mayweather, he was a mystery to many as he was smoking everyone like the way he predicted and he was on a winning streak winning his second belt and so was the reason the anticipation was high among causal fans whether he will defeat an undefeated boxer but if he is fighting Manny Pacquiao all of that mystery is gone, he is on a loosing streak and the big punch in the Khabib fight came from Khabib and McGregor was on the receiving end, so if he thinks that he can make the same kind of money he is dreaming  Cheesy.

Manny Pacquiao is a much faster fighter and there is no way Conor McGregor could defeat him, it is better for him to go after easy fights rather than getting humiliated again.

He wound't mind getting humiliated if in return he will make at least $100 million. There's no pride anymore on some boxers now, they want to make money so they can retire and entire that big fortune and that's what they are making if the fight will indeed happen.

2790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do think about skill games? on: September 28, 2020, 11:12:59 PM
I prefer skill games between traditional game andskill game. In my opinion skill is much important in every game.  If you think that luck is everything in those type of game then you are fully wrong. Winning is not depend upon luck, this is depend upon your idea, skill and knowledge.

It's categorized into lucked based games and skilled based games, but it really depends on how you interpret the game you are playing as we don't look it the same way. Skilled based games in a casino, yup they exist that's what gamblers are going back in a casino to play.
2791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: September 27, 2020, 11:00:35 PM
Conor won't make it if it's boxing, it's a different kingdom for him and he just can't take the people's champ. I'm not belittling him but this seems to be his business today and sees it more profitable than to fight in a UFC match.
Does anyone have an idea why he seems to be looking for matches against boxers? or it's just simply about making money for these matches as he sees more money in it?

It is a challenge to him, I guess. I am not against this fight as we all know Manny Pacquiao also donates for his people after a huge fight. With the current state of the country with the pandemic continuously growing, money is badly needed to support the families affected.

In terms of Connor, I think this will be a challenge and money to him, no other reason. He's already popular with his match against Floyd, he is known in the UFC world, I guess that just sorrounds his goals to that two.

No... not a challenge but money only, if he like some real challenge, he should challenge a boxer where he has a chance, it's his 2nd fight in professional boxer if ever this fight will pursue and he would still lose this fight like what happen with Mayweather. If Manny would knock him out, which I think he can if he will be serious with the fight, I think Conor will taste how sweet to make money in boxing.

Does that also mean that boxing matches like these earn big cash than UFC matches? I guess that would be the reason he's asking for it in the past. We all know he's a hard puncher but I never thought of how big they are being paid inside the octagon, so I thought it is kind of a challenge to him and the money, of course.

This is depending on the opponent, for an ordinary boxer, he would not make much.
We can only compare with his first fight in boxing where he made $100 million (more or less) but his biggest paycheck in UFC is only around $50 million according to https://www.essentiallysports.com/ufc-246-conor-mcgregor-bags-the-biggest-payday-of-his-mma-career-to-fight-donald-cerrone/.

Just think of this, Conor superstar in UFC, Manny and Mayweather both superstars in boxing.
2792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting small amounts on a lot of matches or big amount on couple of matches? on: September 27, 2020, 10:45:34 PM
I have been gambling a lot these days with soccer matches but I'm not enough lucky to make a profit. Howeber, I'm not into huge loss. It's very tiny amount if I check all the previous P/L.
I don't bet big amount. Usually, I bet $4/$5 worth of BTC on a lot of matches; sometimes I win and sometimes I loss. But that can't make me any profit.
I suggest you limit your bet, it's not necessary to make a lot of bet, by limiting the number of your bets that would give you a better picture to put only your bets on the games that you are confident with your analysis, think that you don't need luck, what you need is knowledge that would build your skills to improve and bet consistently in the long run.

Should I go for bigger amount of bets on few matches or stay with current strategy (placing many bets of small amounts)?
Not necessary, it's too risky, big or small amount you can still compute if you are profitable or not, the fact that you are still losing (though small only) that means you are not good yet, just improve your winning percentage then slowly increase your bet as you go further.
2793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: September 27, 2020, 10:26:48 PM

Does anyone have an idea why he seems to be looking for matches against boxers?

That's purely because of money.

I 'll give you an idea how much conor made during his fight with Mayweather,

Conor McGregor Made 'Around' $100 Million for Floyd Mayweather Fight, Knows He Would Win Rematch

Easy money, right?
2794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: September 26, 2020, 09:43:41 AM
I thought this was just a joke, what would people expect in this fight? Damn, Manny getting on the Money style here, where's the reputation? why not fight a younger champion like Spence or Crawford?

The fight will push through and it's official the fight will go ahead somewhere in the middle east so expect a lot of media promotion on this coming fight, McGregor seems to be the one very exciting on this fight

https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/sports/boxing/757318/pacquiao-to-fight-mcgregor-next-year-in-the-middle-east/

Quote
“Regarding the news coming from McGregor himself, we don’t deny it. In fact, our lawyers are finalizing all the confidential details, but both fighters are getting ready for this one epic last boxing fight. According to Paradigm Sports Management head Audie Attar, the fight may happen in the Middle East next year,"
2795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 26, 2020, 09:30:04 AM
Looks like Celtics are not going anywhere here, are we going to see another classic game 7 here?
It's not likely to witness a game 7 in ECF with the way the Celtics are playing in game 6.
There's a chance we will be seeing a game 7, I think ECF has a better chance than the WCF since Lebron's team is very dominant.
We though Miami would end the series in 5, we were wrong, Celtics has made a great adjustment in this game and their offense was flowing well.

Congrats to them, the offense was great, and in fact I have won my over bet, EASY!

Herro suddenly cooled off in this game but Tatum and Brown were still consistent.

Let's go Boston!

Herro is not yet in the level of a superstar, he can make 37 points in one game but he will be guarded well in the following game that's the reason he only created a limited points.

2797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this considered cheating? or Ilegal? on: September 22, 2020, 11:29:46 AM
It's illegal to run a scam casino everywhere in the world and it's universal rule lmao. Even if casinos were legal in a country doesn't mean scam casinos are legal. So technically, a scam casino is illegal everywhere but a legit casino will be illegal or legal depending on the jurisdiction of the country.

If the case is decentralized online cryptocurrency casino, that has a huge difference if you will compare it to scam casinos. No one will actually use a casino knowing that it is already a scam. But most of the time, people fall for it. The reason is because they don't know that the casino is a scam. One example I have encountered is way back before is with the telegram community, an anonymous person sent a message to me saying that he is an employee of the gambling site but in reality, the site is really a scam since they are showing huge gains from their promises.
That it makes sense if we actually know the current feedbacks into certain casinos. Although with limited time to spend reading those reviews but it seems very important and we probably know the consequences that we might face later.
We get scammed because we allowed it, sounds ridiculous but that is the reality. It was our fault, not the scammers.

You don't actually need a lot of time to read the reviews, just go to the most reliable site so you'll get an accurate review, and I'm talking about our beloved bitcointalk.org forum, in the gambling section to be specific.
2798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: fortunejack withdarwal delay on: September 13, 2020, 09:24:36 AM
Fortunejack is a trustworthy online casino so you got nothing to worry about, maybe there are just some problem but most likely you'll get your money just wait for for few more hours and check your email from time to time just to make sure you are not missing a single email from fortunejack. Delays are normal in withdrawal specially that big so all you need to do is  to stay calm.

This is not the first time that a big withdrawal was delayed OP has something to worry if this is a new gambling site but this is an old one and trusted gambling site, he should first create a ticket message the representative here and if there's no answer then he can proceed to create a scam accusations he complains here first before making a ticket.

How did you know?.. if you read his comment above you, he clearly said that it's his first time to make a big withdrawal though has been playing in the site for 3 years with a verified account.

OP's post here.

i have been playing since 3 years....all verified and my account is verified ....

this is the first time i made withdarwal 1.4 btc  am just bit worried if they scam for 3~4 btc withdarwals...
2799  Other / Archival / Re: The Fundamental Flaws Of Provably Fair on: September 08, 2020, 10:25:29 PM
Most of us don't verify our bets if we are playing in a reputable site.
Sharing based on experienced, yeah, that's true, even me, I don't verify my bet because I trust the site and I believe if I didn't others will do especially the competitors as it would give them an advantage if they can destroy their competitors.

But sometimes we need to do random checks if the site is always keeping their provable fairness in place.
The post above will be very helpful also to newbie gamblers, on how to check the provable fairness of a gambling site.
Most gambling sites have their own tab of checking provable fairness, but see if they are really following this fairness.
And if a site doesn't have, doubt about its authenticity and ask for their provable fairness aspect.

There's no reason to play in a site if we they are not transparent with what they are claiming.
We are in a big market, there's a lot of casinos here, it's not dominated by one casino only and others are also competitive as well, so I believe a legit site would provide that in order to maintain their clients and to effectively play with the competition in the market.
2800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: History will be repeating itself, invest wisely. on: September 08, 2020, 10:00:21 PM
We are playing the same game, it just come with a different name this time but the way it's played, we can still follow what we have learn in the past. The hype is big for DeFi projects this year, we can't deny that, so aside from seeing the opportunity, we also have to see the risk, and for me, the best approach to this hype is to educate ourselves to invest in short term, and go long term only on coins that are already proven through times, and that's not DeFi.
