2781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be Emotional, Don't be Greedy on: November 23, 2020, 02:50:10 PM
Good tip.
Just something to remind everyone.
We are still living in a world of fiat. So that is still the important thing to have for now as a means of buying goods.

I did sell some and bought appliances that are needed at home.
Wife is happy, I am happy. That's all that means to me. I am not investing to just let it be stuck until the end.
Somehow, we need to enjoy it too and provide little pleasures to our family.
2782  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best trusted solid exchangers I will nominate them on: November 23, 2020, 11:12:53 AM
I'm done with Poloniex. They are good when they started. All the hype is around them but they got cocky.
2 strikes of my funds being held and that is enough to put them in my trash list.
Some don't even go 2 strikes, I have given them 1 more chance.
Kraken? I have not used it yet.
Maybe until Binance gives me a headache then I will switch to another.
As of now, they are good at customer support, and even when I lost my 2FA code they are being helpful about it.
2783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 23, 2020, 08:27:18 AM
What a good amount for the contract of Vanvleet.
Raptors agree to huge four-year deal with Fred VanVleet
$85-m for his four year contract.
He's worth every penny. He had been improving a lot every year.
As for Donovan, this guy deserves every cent of that deal, no doubt about that and Jazz make the right decision for giving him that max contract.
The same goes for this guy. The meaning of hard work and passion for the game.

With all that is happening in trades.
I may just look at the team rosters after all of this ends.
It is really damn confusing right now that I can't keep up anymore.  Grin

2784  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 commission on LTC investments is at 35% till 31. Dec on: November 23, 2020, 05:03:07 AM
I really think they should start doing some kind of promotions now, looks like they're players is starting to reduce from time to time or maybe just because the Bitcoins price getting higher and higher?
That's also one thing to consider.
Since the price is high, they don't need to wager a lot of bitcoin. We could say that the wagered amount now is halved than the last few months.

As you have seen in the crypto casino world, most places nowadays have ton of games, even the biggest ones are now starting to deal with third party providers to allow users gamble in thousands of games, and even if you do not go with that route, most places have at least 5 or more games. So, adding new games to yolodice could be a more permanent solution to user numbers.
Suggestions were asked last time in this thread.
I voted for Keno. I think that is a fun game. Maybe they are working on something right now to boost the energy of the players.
Will it be a surprise Yolodice?  Grin

Have you already lost it or not? What 2FA application do you use? I can recommend Authy because it has automatic backup function. So if you lose one device you can install and restore it to another one.
Thanks for the suggestion. I might try this coz my phone is on the brink of death.
All my backup 2FA keys (Google Authenticator) are jotted down on a piece of paper. Which sucks. Grin
2785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't repeat same mistakes on: November 22, 2020, 07:01:25 PM
It's confusing.
Sell altcoin for Bitcoin or just keep the altcoin?
What is the real mistake that happened 3 years ago?

They tried to ride the boat.
It's normal kind of reaction when you are a buyer. Jump in and then maybe make a little profit out of the pump.
Or, just stay with your alts and wait for the market to go back when they had enough profit with Bitcoin.

There is a bad story though. Some alts will not rise from the dead. They stay six feet under.
2786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 22, 2020, 05:41:54 PM
Trades left and right and teams acquiring big names.

Serge Ibaka at Clippers.
Jae Crowder found a new home at Suns.
Derrick Jones Jr. at Trail Blazers.

I am sure those who own a console of NBA 2k20 will have a lot of problems editing their game.  Grin
The Clippers did good acquiring Ibaka. I think he will help a lot and the chemistry between him and Kawhi is already set.
This will lift them again as one of the top favorites.
2787  Economy / Speculation / Re: Catalyst for starting next Bitcoin Bear market? on: November 22, 2020, 03:19:51 PM
Coinbase gets hacked?
It's difficult to imagine how. But, there is always that possibility. That's 1.

Satoshi decides to "take profit"?
We will know if this happens. I think there is always that one guy who checks his balance.  Wink
With that event, the whole crypto community will be alarmed and after checking, I guess they will panic and sell their bitcoins.
Yeah, it could also happen.
I think one bad event could flip it but the question is what.
What you mentioned has a lower chance but I can't think of something else yet.
It could be one of the top exchanges falling that could create a bear market.
2788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake or nitrogen my point of view on: November 22, 2020, 02:35:43 PM
Why not Sportsbet if it is sports you are aiming at?  Grin
Just my opinion.
It has good UI and also smartphone friendly. I had no problem with them from day 1.
Withdrawals are also cheap.

But, this is about Nitrogen and Stake.
Yeah, I might also go for Stake as my second option before Nitrogen.
2789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Notorious Coinbase holding my bitcoins in name of 'Review' | Be careful on: November 22, 2020, 11:56:39 AM
Sir, please do update us on what will happen here.
I am kind of intrigued about this kind of situation.
Many will try to sell at ATH and I bet they don't want to just instantly get a frozen account just because Coinbase is trying to hold them off from selling.

Maybe you should try another exchange afterward. If you don't have any problem with KYC (since you are verified with Coinbase) then go for the top exchange that is available. I bet they won't make the same ruckus as Coinbase did.
2790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 22, 2020, 06:33:51 AM
Charlotte Hornets signed Gordon Hayward to a 4year/120$ million deal, honestly I don't know what Mitch Kupchak is thinking about signing a player who clearly has not recovered from his injury yet to a big deal like this one.
I don't get you wrong, I get you right!  Grin
Damn, that large of a contract for someone who had been sitting with injuries and after recovering didn't really showcase a value to be paid like that.
Waste of salary cap. Whoever his agent is good at marketing him.   Cheesy
Whoa! Miami Heat caught a big fish.
Now, they have a defensive player on guard's position.

Bucks also trying to build a better team to surround Giannis.
https://twitter.com/wojespn/status/1330198362042343427?s=20

Which team do you think is winning free agency so far? (OKC Thunder, Sam Presti, and their 17 first-round picks don't count).  Cheesy
It's crazy. I can't tell who is winning yet.
2791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season probably won't happen like the past? on: November 21, 2020, 08:33:37 PM
Even with a high percentage that altcoins wont be bullish again, I will keep mine.
My supported altcoins was not really dumped that hard so I guess that is something positive to remain on supporting them.
At some point, bitcoin short term buyers will sell. That could be the hope which may take the altcoins back to the line.
But don't expect much. It might happen just for a short time.
2792  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin, Altcoins, DeFi and what's next? on: November 21, 2020, 06:26:28 PM
Bitcoin might rise higher after hours ago correction
True.
Altcoin bounce back to come but not too soon
True.
DeFi game won't last for too long
True.

Yeah, we have the same thoughts.
It will be difficult to bring back the investors on altcoins.
Why? They are making profits with Bitcoin now and that's all about it. Money.

DeFi. Picked DeFi projects will stay but others, especially the new ones might not get any funds anymore.
Simply because they are now switching to Bitcoin.

The Bitcoin dump will come and it cannot be stopped. There will always be a selling point. We just don't know when.
2793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 21, 2020, 04:47:00 PM
Now my favorite team for the championship is Brooklyn Nets. Steve Nash, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving can do great work with the trio. Nash will be a great coach for the development of Irving, which excites me very much.
I hope we don't see any serious injuries this season Sad
I don't want to conclude it yet.
They must show if that decision will really work out.
Also, that injury from Durant may have affected his mental strength. We don't know yet if he plays like the old Durant.
Then, Achilles injury may keep on going back and it will take a longer time to heal again.

It's really divided now.
Surprisingly Miami Heat is still in the 6th rank in favorites and the Celtics are on top of them.
Damn, there must be a lot of Celtics fans out there even when the Heat did great in the bubble.

2794  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is moving sideways for day, Where to from here? on: November 21, 2020, 02:49:16 PM
Should we also consider the fact that we are pretty used to that kind of event?
What if it won't happen this time and it will really stay at this price since an easier way to buy it had come out?

Trying to be optimistic here and putting doubts aside.  Grin
If the demand is really high then we should expect that it won't come to where we are used to seeing it.
$15k bottom maybe?
2795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life, gambling and trials. on: November 21, 2020, 12:08:51 PM
Thank you, Yoshie for creating this.
It may ease some of the burdens of the gamblers by telling their stories or reading from other stories.

It gave me a sad time before when I keep on losing in Dice. Of course, I did it in Yolodice.
I never thought it would come to that point that I would lose since I had a good start.
Didn't even told my wife about it. The only good part about it was it's my secret stash. (Just in case the budget goes south.)
After that, I learned my lesson.
I still gamble but not going too far into losing everything.
I rest when I lose some and comes back tomorrow with a new thrill to play.
"Stress on thinking about how much you lose will make you lose more."
My own motto now.  Grin
2796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: DEX must take over on: November 21, 2020, 11:11:09 AM
Binance is almost a DEX if you are not going thru KYC but the limit will be 2 BTC.
That's okay for me. But not everyone agrees with that.
You will need to abide by the law if you want to go further.

Issues like tax evasion and money laundering were why DEX's cannot be approved in different countries.
Which leads to just using CEX without a given option.
Consider the support also. When you create one without volume then it will not be populated.
I am using IDEX before but I need to switch if I want movement with my profits.
2797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 21, 2020, 09:33:27 AM
We can already understand how low their chances of being a champion when we see how high the odd is Smiley

But that is because of the news that Klay is out, and fans were really disappointed as Klay is one of the big reason on the success of the Warriors, without him, it's uncertainly if they can still compete at a high level, yes there's curry, Green, and Wiggins, but people has to see first if Wiggin could really contribute with some consistent numbers.

I agree stadus. Let's not jump to conclusions yet.
We need to see how their chemistry will be. They got a good addition to their team named Wiseman.
What if Kerr could maximize the skills of that young star? Who knows?
Losing Klay had such a large impact but I am not pessimistic yet as I have seen this Warriors team before in their down moments and then suddenly rising.
There's still hope.

Hoping he can live with the expectation although no need to aggressively do it.

Just play on his usual and be comfortable.
Correct. That pressure should be his drive to get stronger.
2798  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - Withdraw Disabled, is it scam ? on: November 20, 2020, 08:34:32 PM
After you get your money I suggest you get out of that stupid exchange.
All of their rules or TOS are fucked up.
You deposit funds you pay them with fees. I mean what the hell?
You withdraw, you pay lots of money.
And now, I have not been accessing my account there and yet e-mails are being sent to me that someone is logging in my account.
Crappy exchange. Go look for a better one.
2799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker network now gives '95% of payouts’ in Bitcoin on: November 20, 2020, 07:31:27 PM
That's good news.
Quote
“We are constantly having to go out and buy Bitcoin,” the Winning Poker Network reports.
And I kept on reading.
Quote
“We are constantly having to go out and buy Bitcoin — lots,” said Nagy.
Lots? Wow.

But, is it really adoption or players are trying to evade taxes?
Quote
According to Nagy, the majority of customers playing poker on the network reside in the United States, which may help explain their preference for crypto as a medium of exchange given that online gambling is legal in only 11 out of 50 states. The CEO, who is based in Costa Rica, admitted to not checking whether players file their winnings for tax purposes.
Good for bitcoin supporters but again, the government may become the wall for this to happen broadly.

The changes has already in effect, thinking of taking it just for fun, lol.

Brrr. Suddenly the Nets became the 2nd favorite.
Now, what team will I be betting on this season to win impossible games.  Grin
GSW went down all of a sudden with just one news about Klay.
Well, I guess I might win some bets rooting for GSW now.
Curry is still there and so are Green and Wiggins. Who knows if suddenly Wiseman had the right chemistry with the team.
Then bandwagons will be back.  Wink
