2781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: July 02, 2017, 05:54:55 PM
Hi guys would good be as a community to submit this coin to coinmarketcap.....

the more submissions the better it is !

Or better yet, we could wait till it hits a >$100m cap, and then submit it, and watch everyone go "OH SHIT, WHY DIDN'T I INVEST IN THIS".
 Tongue

Nice try, but I don't see this project hitting $100 million market cap until there is a working product with no hitch and with huge adoption. It will be interesting to see thing work out fine
2782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] ENCRYPGEN *GENE-CHAIN COIN* 30% OF GOAL REACHED, WORKING DEMO. on: July 02, 2017, 05:51:41 PM
I don't see how this will provide value to those that invest into the ICO, what is the market demand for these data, because asking for more than $2,5 million  and can't explain how to generate revenue for investors is worrisome. I personally believes more than 90% of the current ICO won't be able to generate any revennue becuase building something on blockchain doesn't make it better than the centralised apps

The revenue stream comes from research institutes that can buy a license to access the data, from the playersmoney article:
Quote
Gene-Chain Link ($35,000 USD)

Link is for organizations with existing storage and analytics solutions who wish to expose selected data to the Gene-Chain, then share that data with the benefits of blockchain (like security, an audit trail, and enhanced privacy). You can plug and play Gene-Chain onto your existing infrastructure.

Gene-Chain Lab ($50,000)

Lab is designed for labs who wish to enhance their storage and computing solutions using Gene-Chain’s deep learning compression algorithms for genetic data. The plan is also for those who wish to expose their data selectively on the blockchain and enjoy the benefits of blockchain technology.

Gene-Chain Commerce ($125,000)

Commerce is the largest Gene-Chain plan available. It’s for those with very large computing capacity and storage needs. Gene-Chain will implement a customized deep-learning system on top of your current platform.

As for research data market demand, the amount of genomic research papers (and thus by extension demand for data) has been skyrocketing since the price for sequencing genomes is fallen rapidly too: http://imgur.com/a/fq03G

The reason why the blockchain is the ultimate solution in this case is because of the laws surrounding genomics: it is still unclear who the "owner" is of this data. With Encrypgen it brings the ownership back to the donor who supplied the data because it's decentralized, which makes it a legal non-issue and gives donors the opportunity to take full control over their data

Thanks for your answers, but can you forecast the growth in this market for the next 5 years, we all know the landscape is changing very fast
2783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Minexcoin - A new era of payments (ICO closed!) on: June 30, 2017, 09:05:20 AM
What does the term Parking means for we non-technical people?
2784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ADX]*NEW* AdEx Network - Decentralized Ad Exchange on: June 30, 2017, 09:01:46 AM
I see Bitman tweet on this project, this will definitely sold out in days, I don't know the hard cap but if the recent performance of this ICO is anything to go by, the hard cap would be reached very fast
2785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: June 30, 2017, 08:58:14 AM
Bittrex listing is great, but I will like to see how the Monaco team want to compete with TenX, the Tenx team seems sold and vast in the space also well funded project that sold out during pre-sale

2787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TGE] NIMIQ - A BROWSER-BASED BLOCKCHAIN on: June 30, 2017, 08:48:44 AM
I want to contribute at ICO but i had a serious problem with this project.
The problem is here:
How to make a back up of my wallet? without back up wallet the project is failed.
If no answer the project is failed.

I think there is no need of investing into anything if you can't secure it, this is a good question and I'm waiting to see answer to this question. I believe there must be away to back up the wallet unless the developer doesn't understand what s/he is doing
2788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bancor | Protocol for Smart-tokens, solving the liquidity problem on: June 30, 2017, 08:37:45 AM
When will the bounty coins be distributed?

You can ask the bounty campaign manager on their bounty app. She will give you answers to questions related to bounties.
2789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bancor | Protocol for Smart-tokens, solving the liquidity problem on: June 25, 2017, 07:04:26 PM
can someone post a good explanation on why BNT is sinking every day?

It is simple, ICO flippers are selling to enter into another big project. Bancor is a long term project and token holders will surely benefit from this
2790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: June 25, 2017, 06:58:33 PM
EOS, I have a feeling this project will underrperform so many hype surrounding this, I know because of the success steemit will sell this ICO but that do not quarantee EOS success alot smart contract platform are coming out soon. RSK and Tezo are other two to watch out for
2791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: June 25, 2017, 05:47:13 PM
I make this thread for new (free) airdrop coins.

I bet a lot of people miss big opportunities (like decred where you get over 1.5 btc for free at that time or node or other coins).

Because not every can look every day at all new threads.

So when you see a coin with a airdrop, than feel free to write it here.
So we will maybe dont miss any airdrop coin anymore.  Smiley

Happy to see that someone has created this thread to get latest Airdrop offers. Smiley

I got lucky to know about the DECRED airdrop in Dec'15!  Cheesy

So Decred too was Airdropped, a lot of successful Airdrop project, the most successful I know is NEM, but it seems ICOs is the other of the day now
2792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs 2017 which can not be missed on: June 25, 2017, 05:44:51 PM
There are going to be some misses because you can track all the ICOs, and even if you do, the way inside trading is taking placing will hurt the ICO market, whales seems to have hijacked the market
2793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bloody Mondays & Bearish July-Aug on: June 25, 2017, 05:40:35 PM
Holiday season is a factor, alot of people will be taking profit for summer holiday, you also need to realise that the market has been on a bull run for some period and correction is bound to occur at a time and something will trigger it
2794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ NMR ] Numeraire - What do you think about? on: June 25, 2017, 05:37:57 PM
I have read the Numeraire whitepaper, but I don't think this project need a token, sound concept but is like someone talking your Gold and given you Brass. All this token creation market will soon burst
2795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bancor | Protocol for Smart-tokens, solving the liquidity problem on: June 19, 2017, 06:15:54 PM
When can we remove our signature? the campaign has ended for sometime now and I have not seen any official news concerning the bounty program from the team
2796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX [ICO] end of June: making Blockchain assets spendable on: June 14, 2017, 06:12:02 PM
What is the procedure for using ERC20 tokens on the day of crowdsale?
You will get the ERC20 2-3 days later because TenX will verify everything first.

Sorry, I did not make myself clear.  Let me try again.

In the last line of the white table in the TenX original post, "Accepted currencies for the ICO", it says that BTC, ETH, and ERC20 tokens will be accepted as payment during the late June public ICO.  Are there limits on the kinds or amount of ERC20 tokens that can be donated in the TenX ICO?  How will the value of donated ERC20 tokens be determined?

Also, is the TenX ICO smart contract going to be set up to handle ECR23 tokens?  For example, MobileGo is an ERC23 token, a version of ERC20 that is updated to solve some known issues with standard ERC20 tokens. ERC23 is a standard in ethereum tokens. However, Bittrex is currently having problems in beginning trading on MGO because their smart contracts need to be updated to handle ERC23.

Very good question here, I will like to read the team's answers to this questions.
2797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [PTOY] Patientory Healthcare on the Blockchain on: June 14, 2017, 06:06:10 PM

I think Patientory team should be called Judas, why do they scale back on their bounty commitment, the first question I will ask is are they going to refund the excess money they have now due to increase in the value of Ethereum, also the maximum cap was reached which was selling 70 million tokens, so there is no justification for the action of the team. Most of these developers are Judas and can't be trusted with their words, I don't know if they will deliver on the money they even collected from the market.
This mentality is a very bad. Taas team did this before, that is why people always insist on using Escrow
2798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: June 14, 2017, 05:55:45 PM
Hi, which wallet would you advice ? I use MyEthWall but it's often down during ICO. Any other idea ?
What do you mean it is often down?

myetherwallet.com is not a realiable wallet to use for ICO when the demand is very high, I missed BAT ICO and Bancor ICO just confirmed this claim. It is a good wallet don't get me wrong but I just don't know, it can't be relied upon for ICO is max cap
2799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bancor | Protocol for Smart-tokens, solving the liquidity problem on: June 12, 2017, 05:31:21 PM
I think the DDOS attack is a bless in disguise for BANCOR, I don't think they would have raised this much in one hour, what an irony
2800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bancor | Protocol for Smart-tokens, solving the liquidity problem on: June 12, 2017, 03:05:48 PM
There is no need to rush to invest, the ICO will end in 13 days time. Good news to all which I think is fair to all because of the state of things
