Technology is a gift from God that helps people live. Thousands of years ago, people were a lot stronger. Look at the pyramids of Egypt... the gigantic blocks of stone that those people had to move without modern technology. Could we do it without modern technology today? People simply aren't as strong now as they were back then. God has given us technology to help us with out weaknesses. Of course, some people use it for bad things - like war. But it helps many others in their weakness. Traveling 100 miles before there were cars could tae a day, easily. Now it takes little more than an hour, with a car. |

I am not sure whether there is enough support for a complete separation from China in Hong Kong. Most of the people are afraid that if they push too hard, then the Chinese will just annex them and cancel the special powers.

They don't only believe visible or real things. Many (most?) of them believe that the Big Bang was real. Yet they have no evidence of it that can't be contradicted. Even BB theorists have at least 3 major BB theories that are not compatible with each other. What does atheist faith in BB theory mean? It means that they are believing in something not logical. Oh sure. Some of the parts of BB theory might be logical. But believing that Big Bang itself is truth is not logical. This means that atheists have a science religion, or have turned science into a religion, by believing something that is NOT fact, and most likely could not be fact. If atheists understand this, they probably hate religion because they can't get away from it. Even their talk that they don't believe in religion, is simply faith in a non-religion religion. |

Its true that technology has taken us to that point where we can even think of impossible but there are many counter-effects that human race is facing after this advancement in technology ...... wars , global warming , terrorism , time for family etc ........ Do u really think that technology is hurting us more than benefiting us  ? Well it depends on the acceptation or vision of individuals also how we think about this things as we embrace the advance technology we need to accept the fact that in some reasons it benefits us ,advance technology helps us a lot .it made things work easier and faster. Children in public schools don't pay tickets to go to class... Why shall public transportation cost? Someone pays the expenses of the teachers, pays to print school books, pays to have classrooms built, etc. Why should people who don't have any kids in school pay for somebody else's kids? Let the parents pay their kids' own way. Otherwise, don't have kids. Exactly and those who have 10 kids while other have none... However everyone would win if all schools would provide a quality education... Same for only tax subsided "free" public transport... Everyone could go... And maybe less traffic jam... And then no more ticket vending machines slowing the commute, no cards what ever. Just hoop and go... And no ads!!! Quite the opposite. You wanna ride, you pay. You pay, you get the ride. Otherwise walk. You wanna have kids, you pay to get them trained. Otherwise, don't have kids. It is absolutely NOT fair to take money from people who don't get anything back in return. Sin is imperfection. Imperfection causes death. Not made up at all. Death is real. What do that have to do with anything. When you are dead you are dead. Religious or not The part of each person that is the touch of God that God gave him/her, never dies. At death, the spirits God's people are taken to a temporary Paradise where they are given temporary bodies (known as white robes in the Revelation) until the time of the resurrection. Those who die while not being on God's side in this life, will be held in darkness until the resurrection. At the resurrection, the literal judgment will take place. God's people will be take to the New Universe, called Heaven, and the enemies of God will be cast into the Lake of Fire, Hell. |
