Does someone else also got the problem of only staking orphaned blocks? Im so not used to this from POW mining... The last 4 or 5 blocks are all orphaned  Do they get credited after a while or what does happen with them in POS? Hello @Albortz - I have have been staking since very early in the campaign so I quickly looked back through my incoming transactions to see if I had any 'groups' of orphaned blocks. I found I have had a group of 3 orphaned blocks (in a row) and another group of 6 blocks that included 4 orphaned blocks. So, I wouldn't be too concerned at this stage that you have hit a 'bad patch' of staked blocks. However, if your staking continues to produce only orphaned blocks do be sure to let us all know. Keep in mind the ChronoPower of each timemint halves every 88 days, but you can sell your DAY tokens without the TimeMint if you wish to do so.
What will happen in 2 years then? The ChronoPower will halve 8 times, but still generate some small amount of tokens (will go from ~0.5% to 0.00195%)? That is what TimeMint was designed . So basically the longer TimeMints operate the lesser it yield DAY token. So better strategy is to buy more at the exchange as early as possibly to send the DAY tokens for minting before it half . I joined the ICO and got a timemint right ? But I still need to buy daytokens to send to my timemint so they'll generate more timemints ? Your Timemint will generate more DAY tokens. Also, my understanding is that you will receive (with your Timemint) 24 DAY tokens per Eth you paid for yout Timemint. |

LOL!! I hope you are planning to post this on 4 chan thanglong! Pepe (sometimes) is the bearer of good news... That's why... /biz/ on 4chan. I hope others will use this too. A few threads every day will bring more traders. I wouldn't recommend 3 threads EACH every day - once a coin gets a reputation as a shillcoin/pajeet coin on 4 it's a pretty hard reputation to shake. I was opening a thread daily on 4 chan very early in the Project - most that replied didn't have a bitcointalk account and were asking when it would appear on an exchange. I do wonder how many channers actually bought Onion when it opened on NOVA - it wouldn't have been many but good luck to those that did hey? |

There has been recent discussion in this thread regarding the nature and purpose of the DO Project in general and the use of Onions in particular that has centered around how they both may (or may not) facilitate the most despicable of criminal enterprise/s, including illicit pornography, drug trafficking and, of all things, serial killers.
Frankly, in my opinion the majority of people who have opened these topics on this thread are only doing so in an attempt to make an association (however loose) between the DP Project (Onions) and criminality. In short, I believe they are FUDDERS attempting to bring the Project into disrepute.
An examination of the issues 'they' present themselves as being 'interested in' is not without merit - but please be very wary of the motivation of those who are attempting to engage you in such discussions.
The primary purpose of the DeepOnion Project (as I find it to date) is to promote, secure and assure the privacy of exchange between individuals. No amount of coding is going to change the fact that some individuals are scum.
