If you look at other markets particularly the stock exchanges of countries and the foreign exchange or even the commodities market you will see that the prices are really down so this is not only happening in the cryptocurrency market, we might even call this a minor recession compared to what we have experienced way back 2008. But like any market cycle this will come to an end as this is just timing partnered with some major world events which will all pass in time, we just have to be patient for the next bull market to come.
I totally agree, it's not just happening in cryptocurrency but other form of investment as well. I do believe that all of this investments, stocks, trading, forex and the like will recover soon and will going to have a good market. bearish market usually followed by bullish market after market psychology recovered.bearish would not run forever, it can stopped too.and vice versa. Its true, bearish condition will not forever. Like others market, recovery will happen in crypto market soon. Many good news will come to cryptomarket and it will increase investor confident recovery come to market when all negative news and sentiment gone.but to make market psychology and trust come back was not easy to do.we really need do postive action |

I'll do the same choice with others. I'm always into bitcoin and will never release it on my portfolio.
I'll also put probably 25% to 50% of $10,000 to ETH. I'm into quality over quantity which others do prefer.
holding ethereum and bitcoin really give us profit.although its price move up and down, but for long term investor both of them give us high return. |

the most risky factor in ICO investment is when we get an ICO project that is scam and for now the investment in ICO is very unprofitable because every time they are listed on the exchange the price is very low even some are not worthy and that is very detrimental to investors.
actually if investor and other token holder want to set their selling price above ico price , the projects still could be profitable for them.their mental didnt strong to do that. |

Because they know that the bigger risk they take, the bigger the chance of earning they will get or even more than what they bargain for. Just imagine your profit if you have about 5 bitcoin that you bought last 2016 and was able to hold it until December 2017.

We need to focus on growing our assets in this year as the price is not at the high price so we can buy more and more coins amount. But of course, it will depend on the money we have, and we still have money, then I am sure that it won't be a problem for us to buy more coins. But if we are limit of the money, then we need to be patient for a while until the price increase again, and we can sell the coins to make a profit. Although we don't know how long we need to wait for the price, I am sure that the end, the price will increase higher.
We also need to focus on our target instead of thinking to back out. Focus on what you can do and not on the things that you can't. I do not understand why everyone is panicking. The only losers are the ones who believed Bitcoin will never rise again. From few pennies to Mt. Gox's tragedy to the fall from $600 to $200 and so on. Those who sold at deap are crying tears.

If you had 10000$ where would you invest it? I'm hoping for 10x in about 2 years, how would you personally split that money? There are so many altcoins that I dont know which to pick, I remember the top 5 altcoins from years ago and now they are all gone, so should I only invest in BTC end ETH or others like NEO, ADA and EOS?
$10000 is already a huge capital for me and I think 10x ROI for 2 years is quite impossible because risk will always there. But let's make a little realistic, maybe at least 2.5x can be acceptable. Try to learn to trade with altcoin and have a guide before rolling your asset. Plan an executions which you think a safer margin. List at least 5 coins so that you can get a focus and always accept some losses and handle well the emotions. if we could earn profit from cryptomarket bigger than bank interest maybe it is good choice for us.but we should have to calculate with risk involved. |

Like most things in life there is not really a mystery about how to save money in the short or long term, what people lack is the discipline to do it, they see all that money they have saved doing nothing for them and then they imagine all the stuff they could buy with it, and if you add that the current generations do not seem to have any patience then it is not really surprising why no one saves anymore.
Agree. actually there are no special secrets for long-term savings. all you have to do is discipline with the initial goal. if you really intend to save long term then don't think about spending or thinking that saving the long term is useless. just be disciplined. you will feel the effects in the next few years Yes, for saving money on a long-term period, we must prevent from using that money and only saving more and more money. People have a different method of saving money, especially for a short-term and long-term. Maybe people out there prefer to save their money in gold, and people in cryptocurrency prefer to save their money in crypto. But I think, we can do both the same for saving money, in cryptocurrency and gold because this will gives us a big profit and we can cash out the investment. I think whatever the method is. Whether saving in gold or on cryptocurrency. the key is only one. which is to remain disciplined to keep saving more and more money. with that of course your money will continue to grow. it would be better if you have managed finance also. where is the money for your daily needs (short term) and where is the money to save long term every market could give us profit as long as we know to trading in order to generate profit.and also our knowledge managing risk was an obligation for us.so whatever crypto, commodity or stock could be profitable and dangerous for us depend on our own. |

I don't think that everyone investing only in crypto, i would rather say, most of us here are investing only in crypto and reasons why are: easy entrance into market unlike stocks market and higher reward for higher risk.
i think investors only put few money on cryptocurrency market.and maybe it less than 20% from total their assset.investors worry if they put most of their asset on high risk market. Yes, that would be great percent of crypto investments in our portfolio, but most of us (here) do not have enough money for investing in other investments. To have significantly return on investment, we have to buy cryptocurrencies with high risk. cryptocurrency market really give us high return, but it contain high risk too.if we dont have knowledge to manage this risk, we could loss all of our money.we should have to avoid it. Compare it with gold you'll cryptocurrencies move its price more faster that Gold. There's an other advantage is that bitcoin is unstable and no one is behind on it. Even government can't control its price. sometimes its move faster than gold, but sometimes gold did it.it depend on what issue and news at market.this things influence to price movement even bitcoin or commodity price. |

It depends on which coin we talk about. To influence Bitcoin's price by your own, you would need a lot of them for sure, which I think not many Bitcoin investor has. And also, as I heard, big whales trade in OTC markets, which does not influence Bitcoin's price.
individual investors could influence to bitcoin price in market.it would need huge money to did it and only big speculators that have several consortium member able to make price move up and down. |
