281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: December 20, 2017, 11:36:04 AM

282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: December 18, 2017, 04:00:57 PM
Bitcoin trading these days has become so rucreative that I am tempted to quit my present job which is not giving me enough time to explore more out of bitcoin world...

What's your take on this, should I go ahead and quit?

Thanks
My advise for you is do not quit your current job because of bitcoins. I know that your permanent job is your source of income. I think you can do your job and you can also work many jobs in bitcoins at the same time.
283  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: December 17, 2017, 04:38:55 AM
Just imagine. If ALL OF US would be rich, that means we would live our lives out from dividends, or any passive income of at least $1k a month. Then it would be jawesome, right ? Well, but then I do have a question.
WHO on this Earth would bake the bread for ALL OF US ?
Robots, you might say?
OK, nice idea.
But then, WHO on Earth would maintenance these robots ?
Another robots ?
I don't think so.
Even if so, even if there would be a Skynet of robots, who would not just bake the bread, but also harvest the grains, transport it, deliver to our doors. What then ?
We could eat for free, as much as you want?
Cool, but what about overweight then.
Doctor? But hey wait, NO ONE on this Earth work, so we have no doctors.
OK, we have Doctor Robots.
Who would teach our kids? Robots! Who would change the diapres? Robot!
Even if humans would master all this, we would need to have all the knowledge to teach our robots to work for us. To be slaves for us. (no minds, just pure robotic hands/arms and so on, Tesla's and autopilots)
But even then, there is one huge problem.
I do not want to touch any country, or race, or group of people, but imagine, if you put infinite amount of resources to any kind of animal (including humans), they would reproduce themselves to infinite. Because they simply can. Because parents do not need to parent their kids anymore, because we have robots! So we would need a limit of reproducing, no right to reproduce as much as you can handle (infinite resources), because we would simple have like 50-100billion people on this planet, and there would be no robots who could grow so much grains to bake bread. (perhaps hyper dense pills could be the away).
So, back to the original question, why do people believe, they all can be rich ?
It was, is, and will be, ALWAYS about that who is going to earn more, not enough, but more than the others.
Why?
If there is only one mansion on the Bahamas, which is large enough, sunny enough, sexy enough, there is no freaking way, ALL OF US could buy it. Just one. 1. One. And if only 10 buyers come with their million, to who would seller sell this mansion to? First ? But second also have million and ALL OF US want to be rich (own that one mansion). So second would have to offer 2 million, right?
Wrong.
No one would want to sell such mansion in the first place, as he is already rich. We all are.
Of course! I believe that all of the people in the forum are want to have knowledge about cryptocurrencies and also to become rich in the future. All of us are aware that bitcoin can help us to achieve our dreams.
284  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing money on bitcoin..! on: December 16, 2017, 05:48:50 PM
Nowadays many people are starting to invest money on bitcoin or the buy bitcoin..is this a good approach?
How this will influence us in future?
I earned now many money because of bitcoin investment. The money that I used everyday is from the bitcoin investment. We can really become a rich person if we will invest our money in bitcoins.
285  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: December 15, 2017, 03:20:35 PM
Every time, for as long as I remember, that I go on bitcointalk, everyone keeps posting "BTC IS DEAD" "SELL" etc... And then a few Sr/Hero members come and explain how thats wrong.

I just don't get it.

Aren't we used to the price fluctuating by now? Whats with all the crying/moaning about price bubbles, crashing, inflations, Russia, China blablablablablablaaaaa!

Jeez... Do some research before posting, I saw one post which got LOADS of attention, yet the first post was done by paint, with an unlabelled graph which showed wrong data!

This is getting to the point where we are affecting newer members or gullible people into selling/dumping all their coins instead of keeping them. I mean when I come on the forum, I see that its crashing, why would I buy in?

I think we need to stop giving the panicking people attention and focus more on positive sides.
Do you think that bitcoin will die? Many people are now supporting bitcoins and also many governments are now supporting bitcoin. There is no really chance that the bitcoin will die because many people are now patronizing bitcoins.
286  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time management. on: December 14, 2017, 10:38:34 AM
Most of us have a daily responsibilities.
How do you manage your time in trading and in bounty campaign as well as researching for the news and updates of your favorite altcoin?
We should really manage our time very well. Time is very important because it is part of our resources. We can make more money if we know how to manage out time. I created a schedule where all the tasks that I will do everyday
287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think its now the time to sell bitcoin? on: December 12, 2017, 06:45:28 AM
Bitcoin is dropping its value in 24 hours. Do we need to sell it now? or it will go rise again?
It is not yet the right time to sell bitcoins. I think we should keep out bitcoins is our wallet. Maybe we can earn more money if we hold our bitcoins in a long time. We will only earn small amount of profit if we will sell out bitcoin today
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: December 11, 2017, 05:23:05 AM
Are you a bitcoin fan?
Do you spend a lot of time on bitcoin? Reading news, trading, or even writing your own analysis.
But how did you first hear about bitcoin?
Is it some articles you read about? Or just from a friend who has traded bitcoin for a long time?

Share your experience with us. Grin
I learned the bitcoin from my previous classmate. He convinced me to enter to the cryptocurrency world.  I earned now many money because of the bitcoin. I believe that I can have a good future because of the bitcoin.
289  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: December 09, 2017, 09:24:59 AM
Actually today I watched a video on facebook which is about spending bitcoin and gold in USA,it says it is difficult to spend bitcoin but some places are accepting bitcoins accepting as payment like supermarket, restaurants and some institutions. But no one accepting gold as payment then why still people says gold is better?
read many articles about history, you will find out that gold is very valuable before the civilization was happened. The culture is being inherited that's why many people seeing the gold is very valuable. Like in my community, they prefer to have a gold than bitcoins.
290  Economy / Economics / Re: When is the right time to buy bitcoin ? on: December 08, 2017, 04:41:38 PM
After the recent news re. BTC China and regulators crackdown on cryptocurrency trading, we all know which direction bitcoin and alt coins are currently heading. I wish to buy Bitcoin and Altcoin when they hit the floor, but i am unsure of when the right time is to enter?

This time is the best time to buy bitcoins. The price of the bitcoin is rapidly growing and I think we should now buy bitcoins. There are possibilities that we can become millionaire in the future if we have many bitcoins today.
291  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: December 07, 2017, 08:45:17 AM
In one of the topics I read "If bitcoin will reach $10.000, fiat currency has become worthless"
Do you agree with this statement?
The answer is no! The price of the bitcoin reached $10,000 per each and you can see that the fiat is still important. Fiat money will not be worthless because most of the people in our society are favor to use fiat currency than digital currency.
292  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: December 07, 2017, 02:21:28 AM
“One of the keys to a trader’s success was not the results of a trade but rather how a trader reacted to the results of a trade.” – Dan Gamza

Why me? Why did this happen to me? Those are some of the questions that disturb losing traders. After a series of losses, some of them develop hatred for trading. Suffering that results from negative trades, drawdowns and margin calls can make people easily disappointed in trading.

Nonetheless, no matter how bad your trading is, it could’ve been worse. No matter how bad things are, there are still some reasons to be thankful, if you can think deep.

There are events that move the markets and which professionals focus on. These events often are filled with uncertainties, bringing profits and losses to people. Just some months ago, Greece was a hot topic, and speculators were mulling opening positions on the seemingly overextended markets, but some had serious misgivings. At times, the stakes may be higher than the rewards.

There Is Really Nothing Like Losses

There is really nothing like losses, for what brings losses to some people is what brings profits to others. The market moves up or down – not losing up or down. When you buy EURUSD and it goes up, you win (but a seller will lose). When you sell AUDJPY and it goes up, you lose (but a buyer will win). When you enter a direction in the market and it moves seriously in your favor, all those who go in that direction will make money, provided there are no wide differences in their entry prices.

What you call losses is what brings profits to some people. What you call profits is what brings losses to some people.

People Don’t Learn Their Lessons

Despite well-meaning efforts to solve the problem of loss, there are millions of traders around the world who’re still losing because of dangerous trading habits. People don’t learn their lessons.

During a funeral process, many attendees will be remorseful, thinking about the brevity of life and futility of wickedness, anxiety, love of money and so on. But once the funeral is done, you’ll see many of those attendees living their lives as if they’d not die again.

Too many traders lost in the past because they didn’t use stop loss on live and simulated accounts. When they come back to trading, you’ll see them using the same trading approaches that led to their downfall the last time, namely, high lot sizes and no stop loss. People don’t learn their lessons.

Traders who test new trading ideas on demos don’t use stops; and I wonder how that idea can survive on live accounts in the long haul, because they may apply it to a demo account once they’ve been lucky enough to gather some gains.

A Way Out?
After many years of grappling with the markets, traders who complained in the past may later show their gratitude; and for the fact that the markets cannot be blamed for what happen to them (though we may feel disappointed sometimes). There are days when they become sad, and they complain when they think of their seeming helplessness. Nonetheless, they’d have come to understand that the markets don’t set out to punish individuals.

Interacting with good traders as well as reading about super successful ones would’ve made them stronger psychologically and kept their spirits up.

Reflecting on a possibility of a risk-free trading approach reassures those who’re currently losing. Good trading coaches care about them, knowing full well that the end of their struggles is in sight. Focusing on such hope can give a trader the fortitude to endure certain negativity now.

Conclusion: Are you disappointed in trading? Well those who currently make loads of money from trading were once disappointed at some time in their careers. Those whose marriage is now successful were at one time, frustrated by their spouse. But these people, for example, profitable traders (as well as happily married persons), looked for solutions to their problems and apply those solutions faithfully. That doesn’t mean they’re luckier or better than others: that means they’re able to overcome the causes of frustrations and disappointment in their careers.

This article is ended with the quote below:

“Markets are people. So beating them asks for insight in what they are doing. And, perhaps more importantly, how they feel, because that will direct their future actions and, in the end, what markets will do.” – Dirk Vandycke

I am a trader and I have now many experienced in trading but I am still not disappointed in trading. Why I will disappointed to the trading even I know that I am the one who committed wrong decision? I am not disappointed to the trading but I disappointed to my self because of the wrong strategies that I made.
293  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: job and trading together.. on: December 06, 2017, 02:37:15 AM
I think I can earn limited amount of money every month. I want to invest my money in trading. How can I get a good
a good amount profit every month??How I research the market? How to find out the good coin to invest? Thanks in advance ....
It is good but the question is if you can do job and trading at the same time? We all know that trading requires a lot of time and it is very time consuming. Try to find out first if you can do your job and trading together.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: December 05, 2017, 12:28:39 PM
who among you here heard bitcoin back in 2009 and 2010? I was one of the people who is very skeptical about it and I really regret it. Sad I missed the best opportunity for a lifetime.
I also regret the time that I did not believe in the bitcoin back in 2014. If I only invest my money back in 2014, probably I am now a millionaire. There are many benefits that the people got from the bitcoin because of the their investment back in 2010.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: December 04, 2017, 12:50:14 PM
is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? anyhow this money sits in the bank and do nothing for!
For me it is not. Many people says that do not invest our money to the bitcoin because it is not the right time. They say that we should a wait a moment that the price of bitcoin will go down. I think it is not a good decision because I believe that the price of bitcoin will not go down. I think it is better if we should put now all of our money to the bitcoin.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: December 03, 2017, 07:24:47 AM
It seems that experts say that Bitcoin 'Here to Stay,' But Banks Could Disappear.

"TheStreet: How do you think FinTech will impact the way banks operate?

Frank Schwab: Banks either react on, or they will disappear. Anyway, the consolidation of the banking industry accelerates as the behaviour of people changes. Some banks will benefit from [FinTech], some will be pushed to the back end, and some will disappear."
http://www.thestreet.com/story/13419089/1/bitcoin-here-to-stay-but-banks-could-disappear-says-fintech-expert.html

What's your read on that?

I think it is true that some of the financial institutions are afraid to the cryptocurrency especially to the bitcoin. Many professional and experts says that bitcoin can threaten banks. I don't know if the bitcoin can make banks disappear.
297  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: December 02, 2017, 05:14:09 AM
For true devotees of Bitcoin, the price of the digital currency is almost irrelevant. They believe in its inherent value or, more frequently, cannot see any value at all in the alternative of government issued fiat currency. Price is therefore not a concern. At the other end of the spectrum, for those that harbor what appears to be an irrational hatred of Bitcoin and anything to do with it, the exchange rate also matters little. They were screaming that it was all worthless when the price was at over $1000, and somehow convince themselves that an exchange rate of over 200 times what it was before that bubble proves their point. For the vast majority of people somewhere in the middle, however, the price of the currency in Dollar, Euro, Yuan or whatever terms is important.

Of course, the price of the bitcoin is really matter. The bitcoin is becoming more popular because of the price that is rapidly increasing. We can observe also that many people are entering to the cryptocurrency world because of the price of the bitcoin.
298  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: December 01, 2017, 03:25:55 PM
The crypto world can become unpredictable sometimes, making our choices of investing into it, a very limited one. From scams to ponzis, there have been many losses from investors, yet making it very difficult to find a reliable investment.

But on the bright side, you could still invest into assets and commodities with your crypto like Gold and Silver. Then, if done right you could profit along the way with a good strategy.

As for me, I only decide to invest into gold (by exchanging BTC to Gold) and into some NXT and BURST assets.

What would be your investment strategy? Please share your tips, advice, or any good strategy you would use to safeguard your crypto investments.  Smiley
The best strategy that we can use is to buy if the price of the coins is low and sell it if the price of the coin goes up. Like bitcoins, many people are earning profit because of day trading.
299  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: November 30, 2017, 12:52:17 PM
What if somebody will make a huge dump and sell it all the way to earn some profits because of this rally in bitcoin, and someone sees it and do that same thing. Is there any effect on bitcoin when someone to this,?
Why we should panic? It seems that you are not a good trader! We can consider a good trader if we can control our emotions. I can say to all of you that panicking is really not good idea. We can commit many wrong decision if we always panicking.
300  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins on: November 28, 2017, 10:35:54 AM
Yesterday I just lost 1.8k USD, maybe in USA or in West Europe that's doesn't much, but here in my shitty country that's a f* big amount of money. Here the minimum wage is ~ 300 USD / month. So that's like 6 month of work if I cut my bread and water and live on air. Half of my saving were other investments, but anyways... I'm feeling shitty right now. Oh, and I break my laptop. So yeah, that's another - 500 usd.

I though I can trade. Buy low, sell high. Sounds good, doesn't work.

Looking at the charts and candle sticks and watching old bitcoin values, and huge spikes (pump, I saw here how people uses the pump word, daaaamn...) I was... yeah, I can totally do that. I'll just buy when it's low, and sell it when it reaches the top. Well, I was wrong. You can't see the future, otherwise everyone would be a millionaire. That would be true if you would have a delorean from '85 with Emmett Brown and Marty Mcfly and you could f* travel in future and see the PUMPS!!!1

So anyone who will read this message (noobs like me) if you don't have any trading experience, don't do it. There are expert traders who know how this market works, when to buy and when to sell. Don't assume your skills by watching youtube videos and reading "daily indexes and predictions" of how the price will rise or go down by shitty sites. That's just dumb. You don't know what's gonna happen. Maybe a little bit of luck, or I don't know.

So yeah, from now on, I'll just leave the trading area for experts and I will invest in bitcoin by buying every 2 week or monthly and saving into my wallet. And one day (I hope so) the price will rise and I will buy for my self a delorean.

Cheers!
Trading is really not easy job! I know that you are also experienced struggled in the trading. You must improve your strategy and your tactics for you to earn big amount of profits.
