281  Economy / Economics / Re: Billionaires keep losing billions of dollars why poverty rate is increasing on: January 29, 2023, 05:13:31 PM
I am always skeptical why billionaires are always losing huge amount of money in days while people are suffering. Last time I read in a new that Elon Musk loses upto 4 billions in just few hours and the other time he made close or more than that in days. Money that would be very hard for an employee or middle class business owners to make in a year.

If we take a look on the news we will see that billionaires loses upto 2 trillions dollar last year and this January we had been hearing about several loses from some of the world billionaires.

Last year I heard that Jeff Bezos loses up to 80 billion dollars and Mark Zuckerberg also loses close to that amount which is enough to allivate poverty from a continent. The cause of their lose is best known to them but I think the funds should have been used to help the poor rather than allowing the money to vanish in a thin air.

I have seen so many programs fro the masses especially to aid those that are in need. Some of these aid organisations do seek for donations from individuals, companies that are ready to help with funds. When we have billionaires losing huge amount of money every year, why not they use those money to help the poor rather than losing them
The loss of wealth by billionaires and the rising poverty rate are most likely the result of a variety of interconnected issues, including economic inequality, global economic conditions, and government policies. In other circumstances, billionaires' wealth may be linked to specific businesses or markets that are performing poorly, resulting in losses. Poverty, on the other hand, can worsen as a result of factors such as unemployment, inflation, and a lack of access to education and healthcare. Don't judge billionaire's money because it isn't yours.
282  Economy / Gambling / Re: PVP Games Lounge launching soon on: January 29, 2023, 04:55:25 PM
I am happy to announce me and my team are developing couple of table games , that will be played versus player and multi player tournaments , a public chat room for players:
more information will be released , we are building it around a Defi Token project for it to get enough publicity for the games platform.
PVP table games on crypto sounds good and interesting. It is better to put some bet on yourself that betting with someone you don't know. Player vs player is one of the best and challenging games specially if when it comes to gamble. I suggest chess, I'd like to bet on myself against someone. Good luck on your team, hoping you guys to become successful!
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to bet on Billiards sports? on: January 29, 2023, 04:46:45 PM
Efren Bata is a legend from our country. I've been trying to bet on his every game but I don't know where to. Bata is getting old his gameplay should be betted on online casino. Most of the available sport on online casino are international and world cup which has more players but I've only seen football and basketball, billiard and also chess should be added to because strategic/mind games is better to put some bet. Hoping that online casino will expand their game types.

As in the title, is there a chrome extension to receive forum notifications?
I’ve been wanting to have an add-on notification on my browser so that I’ll get notified when someone mentions me, received merit and be notified who replies - with this I used telegram bot “BitcoinTalk SuperNotifier V2” which helps me a lot managing my account.

Having this tools will help you here in the forum. I suggest you use telegram on pc and just enable the notifications.
285  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: do not invest in crypto from loans. on: January 28, 2023, 06:11:56 PM
I agree with not investing in crypto from loans. Loans are borrowed money and it is very risky too use since it is not yours. What if you invested it and you loss? You don’t have the money to pay your loan which is a very bad thing. Somehow using loans to invest has a difference with your own money when investing, you’ll probably take care of it and expand your earning through the money you borrowed.
286  Economy / Gambling / Re: Positive Gambling Quotes for 2023! on: January 28, 2023, 05:59:30 PM
Quote 2:. Risks takers make it big in life.
I like this quotes specially the 2nd quote. Gamblers needs to read like this quotes for boosting their confident in gambling. “Risks takers make it big in life” I do agree with this, taking higher risk for higher reward is worthy. Life in gambling is very risky that’s why most people don’t do gambling.

Quote 3:.  If the risk is not worth it then don't take it ..
Taking a risk that is not worthy is already a loss, better to take risk with higher rewards. Every gambler should consider that risk and the reward they’ll get after taking the risk.
287  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: January 28, 2023, 12:19:23 AM
I think both jobs are good for most people. Sometimes people takes two jobs for better pay but tiring, they have full-time and part-time job. Commission job compared to salary based job isn’t that bad when it comes to payroll. I don’t have a full-time job/salary based job but I have part-time/commission job that helps me with some of my expenses. Having salary based job is worth it because of its salary unlike commissions that consumes time with less salary.

289  Other / Meta / Re: How can I prevent my account from being hacked as newbie on: January 26, 2023, 01:31:29 PM
For creating accounts as a newbie you must know that you should have a safe and unpredictable password. Hackers won’t target newbie if they’re hacking here so less worry. Don’t store your passwords online for better. Don’t be tricked with phising sites that’s the best advice I can give for newbies. Be careful what you click always!
290  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trade vs. HODL - avoid traps on: January 26, 2023, 10:19:20 AM
I tried the both in my crypto journey. Trading is about losing and winning with being risky. I trade most of the time last year and didn’t get that much profit. I was holding for a few weeks now and I can say the holding is better. Trading and holding somehow will make profits but the risk involve in it is much specially trading.

I suggest to hold and add more on your btc holdings.

292  Other / Meta / Re: Know who ignores who on: January 26, 2023, 03:33:18 AM
Lately I've been wondering if we can find out who ignored us.
Is there any way to find out who ignored us?  Huh
I was wondering who ignores me but what is the point of knowing? Will they give us reasons or explanations?
There's no way to find out who ignored us, maybe if they tell us before they ignore us. We can only see who we ignored us on our profile and the board preferences that we ignore.

Good Luck on finding out, let them pay for it lol
293  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: January 25, 2023, 03:53:22 PM
"Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin" this question was asked by a friend

My reply to her is this:
It is generally not advisable to take out a loan to purchase Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and the value of a particular coin can fluctuate greatly in a short period of time. This means that the value of the coin you purchase with a loan could drop, making it difficult to repay the loan. It is important to do your own research and make sure you understand the risks before investing in any financial product, including Bitcoin.

What is your advice?
I think it is in between good and bad since taking a loan is risky when investing in cryptocurrency but if in bitcoin like right now is a good idea.

Taking loan and putting it on crypto is very risky due to its volatility, it may not affect you now but maybe in the future. Only invest what you can afford to loss.
294  Local / Pilipinas / Re: WORTH IT PA BA? on: January 25, 2023, 03:49:08 PM
TANONG KO LANG PO IF EVER NA BABALIK AKO TO JOIN BOUNTIES WORTH IT PA PO BA?
IF YES MAY TATANGGAP PO BA SAKIN KAHIT NA MAY NEGATIVE TRUST AKO IN ANY BOUNTIES.

295  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: January 25, 2023, 01:27:47 PM
Any bonuses and rewards are appreciated very well when it comes to casino. Most of the players of casino came from here because of signature campaigns by companies. Weekly bonuses around 20-30% is good. I like this post because you’re asking your players what they want, good luck on your team!

I thought the title was telling about weekly and bonuses here.

296  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: January 24, 2023, 05:28:19 PM
Is there any gambling/casino website that owns a android application? I noticed that all gambling websites are good for PC/Computers but not phones, I believe an android application will be flawless and way easier to access..
I think you just need a good gambling casino website. You don’t need an app to start gambling since most of the online casinos has a good interface when using phone’s browser.

I used to go out and uses browser in my phone to gamble at my free time. Having an app is a good idea but that’s a lot to process and updates is annoying, updating since online casinos has a lot of offers and promos and a lot of games that will make the app heavier.
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 24, 2023, 06:48:46 AM
I agree with this. Online casino is more addictive because you can access it easily at any time while real life casinos needs time and also tiring. Being addict to an online casino can be manage or prevented. Just set limitations on gambling online to avoid addiction.

I gamble in real life casino if I only have much time but I prefer doing it online and at home.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: January 23, 2023, 02:19:45 PM
A crypto gambling having its own currency only will not be successful since most of the users prefers different crypto currency like Bitcoin, usdt and etc.

Most of the gambling sites uses different types of cryptocurrency for a bigger chance of having more players. A casino must be open for different coins for easy and better gambling experience. Using native token will only go to failure of your project.
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 22, 2023, 09:39:44 AM
There is this thing about shopping and airlines that when you check and forget, they send you bonus or discount for your possible shopping/trip. Same holds true for casinos, if you just register and leave they will send you some bonus to get you started playing.
Most of the casinos offers big welcome bonus to make the user deposit and start playing. Creating an account and leaving it so that they will send you offers and vouchers is a good idea, but if you're not really a fan of casino then why register? I've done this before, created an account and after getting the bonuses I left my account they sent emails notifying me that I have a "voucher" so that I'll be interested on going back to the casino. Only do that thing if the casino don't need KYC because you'll be risking your identity just for that idea, your identity isn't worthy of those bonuses and cashbacks.
300  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk as a Mobile App - Trick for iOS/iPhone on: January 22, 2023, 05:20:24 AM
I was expecting for an "app" but this is just a browser shortcut. I have been using this shortcut for a while now but on a lower software version 15.7(19h12). This saves me time when I open my device because I don't need to open safari and type the link but somehow annoys me cause everytime I open the shortcut it also open new tab.

This trick is available not just on IOS but also on Androids, just bookmark the link then add it to you home screen.
