281  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike - 16 chip ASIC Open Source Board - Preliminary on: September 19, 2013, 11:31:02 PM
To be honest I dont care if its a person or a group!! The fact is that BKKcoins took my money and disappeared without shipping or refund.  Im just curious how many people didn't get their orders.

I am still waiting on my order #149 for 3 boards, PIC's, stencil, and other misc items.

It's also been more than 45 days so I cannot file a PayPal dispute. Bkk had mentioned not to go down that route and that he would respond to all refund requests, so I chose to give him the benefit of the doubt... my mistake...

I think it's more the fault of these developers that claimed they had the Klondikes running with 16 chips. Than the fault of Bkkcoins. but who cares who's fault it is. You need your money back.

If you paid via PayPal and want a refund...  LISTEN UP.

Steamboats update. Apparently terrahash and steamboat are not working together.

(Congratulations to those who got out early.  Paypal cant recover my fund because it is over 45 days)

Try this.

I just don't understand why you guys are sitting idly by and allowing Amir and Justin to walk all over you like this and are not demanding that they come forward with your money, or at the very least an explanation and an apology.

This is your money, you worked for it, not them, they do not deserve your money, they haven't done anything for it other then tell you lie after lie after lie.

Amir and Justin are laughing at you right now as they sip martinis with over-sized green olives stuffed with pimentos in them on your dime.

You had the balls to trust them and they broke that promise, numerous times, they are walking all over our dreams of a new world, where thugs like Goldman Sachs et al get what is coming to them, people like Amir and Justin and TerraHash do not deserve to be involved with next evolution in money.

You should be spitting mad right now, this is YOUR money, tell them they can take their no refunds policy and shove it where the sun don't shine and demand a FULL refund immediately.

bar, joe, et al, say what you want, put me on ignore I don't care, Amir and Justin from TerraHash are scamming these people out of their hard earned money, what else would you call it when they outright refuse to speak to anybody, return phone calls for months on end, etc, etc.

/ end rant.

Good luck to you all, I tried to warn you guys.

I just opened a fortune cookie that's just perfect for you. Lol. It says.

"You are extremely generous
and always thinking
of others."

Terrahash

You are the only one who has the klondike working ! although steamboat seams close.. Please pop over to the klondike thread and share your magic with the community.

BKK pushed the revision through based on your results that both banks were working please share how you achieve this..

NO they don't, otherwise they would have sent my k16/k64 already with my chips sitting idle with them.

In order to pacify us and keep the money.  They told us they had the K16 hashing and had videos for proof. All that was needed was the Avalon chips, and we would have all are orders completed in 2 weeks. Yet when sent the chips for a single order, nothing has been completed.  Huh Looks like intent to me.

I'm not really 100% serious or trolling. Don't really take sides on much of anything.
286  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 14, 2013, 10:49:57 PM
I will take back what I've said about Terrahash if they do not have something substantial to show at the end of this timer.

I'd rather them spill their guts asking for help on the firmware from the community than them quietly sit back and say nothing at all.

Was really looking forward to this.

I am still waiting for an apology for the personal attacks from, joe, bar, et al.

Must have read my mind. I was just about to suggest an apology also.  Cheesy
287  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 14, 2013, 02:25:10 PM
Guys sorry, I have tried not to stick my nose in here, but please explain why those of you who want refunds have not started the process with Paypal?

I guess most of us who want refund where not using Paypal .... I payed in BTC so Paypal does not apply ...

Also,
I believe that any of the early terrahash orders are out of paypal policy now... 45 days iir.

If you keep bothering PayPal they will escalate it to a claim even after the 45 days. You just have to talk to the right PayPal reps. "Others have went past the 45 days why not me!!!!!" will work.
288  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 14, 2013, 02:20:05 PM
So far PayPal has done nothing for me. My Credit Card credited my account.

After twisting PayPal's arm they finally escalated it to a claim. But they previously denied me, stating I had went past the 45 days. Even though I disputed on their site on the 43rd day. Next time I will start any future dispute by telephone and take their name.

I guess if I paid with cash or Bitcoin I would start by reporting them with agencies like BBB and https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#&panel1-6

take any computer, disable the wifi/internet and you'll be virus-free forever. Tinfoil hat approved!

Except for the fact that you can't download the Blockchain or move the coins.
that's not how you use paper wallets

You make a paper copy of your wallet.

How do you spend coins?

How do you move coins?

Do you have to download the blockchain every so often?

Marto has his hex16 board fully operational at very reasonable prices, I see no reason why TH can not outsource this to Marto and still turn a profit, with the exception of components and cases.

The silence from TH is concerning, perhaps TH could comment on the above.

Unfortunately I believe the next words from TH is claiming bankruptcy and then were all fu*ked :/

Not really. If they go bankrupt they will have to account for the money. And the Bank will pay out to those with claims.

Looks like I made the right decision to take off in my little dingy before the rush to the life boats. TH doesn't look like they will make their 2 week deadline even when supplied with chips.

I learned 2 main things.

1. Don't try and mine Bitcoins. If I would have used the $9000 for buying Bitcoins when they were $67 I would have made almost $7000  Roll Eyes Instead the money was tied up in this BS.

2. If they won't let you use Paypal and a Credit card on a pre-order don't buy it! If they can't deliver by a certain date, you should be able to get your money back.

This one looks so good for so little except it's loaded with all types of questionable garbage.

Cheapest new laptop on newegg is $275, so go for that or get a raspberry pi.

That looks like a possibility.

That's to complicated. I'm just getting a simple little clean notebook. It will only be turned on for a short time when using for Bitcoin. their will be no chance of Trojans etc. I just don't want the computer screwed up and compromised from the very beginning.   I don't want anyone from the "egg stealer species" having any control of my personal info.

If your that worried that the CIA will be using a backdoor to watch your Bitcoin transactions, you do know they can monitor your ISP, or just look at the Blockchain and see where you have been spending your coins without ever having to look at your computer.

I don't think you have anything to worry about from Big Brother.  Now if you're worried about theft of your coins from keyloggers ect.  Then I would say use a virtual computer, and make sure you rebuild it everytime you do a transaction, or boot off a Boot CD.  Then only plug your wallet USB key in when you are about to do a transaction.  Is it overboard, I would say yes, but it should be the safest way to keep from anyone stealing your coins.

I can promise, we will be more open and be better with customer service this time!

yea right.

Any update on your chips?

3 more days 'til the two weeks deadline. I'm asking them to just ship me individual k16s but as usual no respond.

Will be interested to see if you will get the boards in 2 weeks. Since you have supplied the chips, their shouldn't be any reason not to. Unless they can only do mass amounts of boards at a time due to programming of robotic mounting equipment. I'm not sure, haven't done any manufacturing. Still, they should tell you what's going on.

Thanks to credit card (Bank of America) and PayPal. I won't have to worry about this BS any longer. I checked my account and have received credit to my card for the full amount. Grin

Google = CIA FBI.  Windows 8 = Back Doors for Big Brother.
Do you have evidence for those allegations, or are they just assumptions?

To my knowledge, Chrome only logs user telemetry by default. You can opt-out in settings. Windows 8 (or any other version) is much the same. Nothing in either of them that can compromise wallet security. You're just being paranoid.

Snowden spilled the beans. I always suspected. Mostly common knowledge at this point. Here is a sample of a quick search.

297  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: COINBASE.COM STRIKE ME AGAIN!!!! RESETS MY ACCOUNT AFTER 18 days VERIFIED on: September 09, 2013, 02:05:41 AM
I can't imagine why Coinbase wants to wait a full 30 days before extending you credit, considering that on your first transaction you basically bounced a check on them. LOL

Coinbase isn't your babysitter. You made the mistake, now wait out your time in the corner like a good boy. Sheesh.

I had actually made sevaral deposits of 1-4 btc before this, a total of maybe 780 bucks... so screw you assumptions make an ass out of urself you know...

Depositing BTC in your own account is of no concern to Coinbase or proof of your honesty. You tried to buy BTC with an empty account. Now you have to take a "time out" and sit in the corner for a while.

Just get a cheap old laptop and use linux.  Less than $100 on ebay.

Good idea except an old computer could have a Trojan. And the hard drive will crash sooner than a new one.

So Linux or Apple?

Google = CIA FBI.  Windows 8 = Back Doors for Big Brother. I don't want anyone having access to my computer but the only one worth trusting. Myself.
