281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone here living full time on cryptocurrencies? Can you give guidance? on: October 24, 2017, 05:54:02 PM
I'm looking forward to achieve this. Of course it takes time to understand which are the actions that make you earn money and those which make you lose it. But that's life.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you make money from ICO? on: October 24, 2017, 05:51:25 PM
I make money from ICO bounty campaign.
I quit investing to ICO  a long time ago.

I am quitting ICOs too, after having lost money in virtually every ICO I've taken part to. Better to get a little slice with bounties than overpay a bigger slice.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding the importance of HODLing - CMC 2016 vs 2017 on: October 24, 2017, 05:26:34 PM
Well, but I also remember the bear market which started in 2014 and which lasted a few years. Bitcoin was 1000$ in early 2014 and it went down 80% and it took until 2017 to climb back to 1000$ and to overtake it. So if you are seeing this amazing capitalization of 2017, nothing forbids that next year it may again retrace 80% lower. So if you are in hodl mood, you must be ready to hodl for many tears.

Yes, I also had a disappointment with their bounty campaign and I have stopped to promote them. If they can't even manage a bounty campaign, do you think they will manage a complex project?
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I late to the party? on: October 21, 2017, 01:29:24 AM
Most of us are late to the party if we didn't buy Bitcoins in 2010-2012, but at the same time as so many other people are later than us to the party, it could even be that we still are just early birds...
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] Russia will begin regulating cryptocurrency mining on: October 21, 2017, 01:27:23 AM
The idea that Russia would ban mining is simply ridiculous for a large number of reasons: you cannot enforce such laws, they make no sense, they damage the county economy and development - I don't buy that.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy ETH now? on: October 21, 2017, 01:24:28 AM
When this thread was started in hindsight it was probably not such a good time to buy Eth, but meanwhile it has become a good time in my opinion.

POSToken is truly one of the best airdrops currently around, which is not an easy task at all seeing how many airdrops are popping out on a daily basis. I wonder how much it will possibly grow in future. Over 5000 adopters so far.
290  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The gaps between languages on: October 21, 2017, 01:20:32 AM
Every language has words that other languages don't have - like the Esquimos have 20+ words for the word snow and the Americans 20+ words for the word hamburger. And so on. So many gaps.
291  Other / Politics & Society / Re: This frozen chicken “had a rich, emotional life.” on: October 21, 2017, 01:17:47 AM
Possibly Bitcoin should be marketed with the disclaimer: NO animal has been harmed in the mining of these 20+ Millions of Bitcoins.
292  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gender equality on: October 21, 2017, 01:08:59 AM
It very much depends on which societies you are talking about. From what I see from Hollywood movies men are treated badly by women in the USA, almost all main male characters of movies have been abandoned by their wives even though they are good men.
293  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NSA, CIA, IRS, DHS, ATF, FBI, GCHQ, Federal Reserve, ISIS are Terrorists on: October 21, 2017, 01:06:24 AM
This thread is quite confused but it contains actually a few good links here and there. The title is cute too Smiley
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: October 21, 2017, 01:01:06 AM
What do you think about this ? I think it is scam .

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2294466.0

This one ticks all the boxes for a scam. It is not even a real airdrop as you are expected to send Ether first.

yes it is

Yes, a scam, and it is disconcerting how many people seem to fall into that trap. Possibly a few of them are sockpuppets of the scammer.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best coin for beginners to start trading? on: October 21, 2017, 12:58:08 AM
Please me Im new to trading cryptocurrency. What is the best crypto that I should start to trade? Any expert advice?

Go for coins that have low volume. Since you are new from the scratch, you don't need to undergo serious trade at the moment. You must learn and familiarize how trading works before going on actual trade. Don't worry it will not consume your time much and you can start live trades thereafter.

Try to play with the non serious trading experience at Yobit. There are low volumes coins there which is obviously as cheap compare to 1 pc. regular candy. You must be familiar on the exchange itself.

I agree on that, and I would recommend to buy only coins which have had a period of very flat prices, a symptom that a floor has been built. Of course this is only one of the indicators to watch.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: October 21, 2017, 12:54:50 AM
It would also be funny if you would be able to mine with the phones of the people you call by phone, during the conversation Smiley
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins are now dying, what do you think? on: October 21, 2017, 12:35:08 AM
It could be that all coins are now dying, but as we have already seen in 2014-2015 many coins have seven lives, so most of them will resurrect for sure.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Stox - Prediction market platform | Token sale has ended on: October 21, 2017, 12:34:15 AM
Bancor can't even save itself, bancor is 20% of ICO price, only price pump can save both BNT and STX, otherwise it would be quite difficult thing.

I would not really agree on that, Bancor  is only 70% of ICO's price versus ETH, which is the real parameter to consider. IF ETH has dropped, that's another issue.

Bancor is 70% of ETH, very bad performance, like stox is 33% of ETH ico price, which is more miserable, I reckon we will have a big price jump soon.

Well, at some point all the people willing to sell at a loss will have sold and from that moment on the road should be upwards...
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: October 21, 2017, 12:32:03 AM
Yes, I am! But I know exactly which one you would like to promote  Roll Eyes  Grin 1 november will be the start date for the mobile miner, I'm curious if it will be profitable!

thanks for your comment davey!

well I do not only mean Electroneum (that I am indeed promoting) but generally the idea of mining on a mobile phone.

With conventional crypto currencies real and valuable mining is not possible.

Everyone's on mobile now, I think it could be great if I can mine right on my phone.
My friends who aren't into crypto would most likely be interested in this too.

If you show them a mining rig they just laugh and don't get it. It's something entirely different for them if they can easily mine from their phones. My girlfriend would even do it, and I'd tell my dad to mine too

Elecroneum can be mined with your mobile phone? That would be quite intriguing. Tell me more Smiley
300  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think ISIS uses Bitcoin? on: October 21, 2017, 12:26:08 AM
I don't think that ISIS is using Bitcoins, but they have probably applied with several accounts for the airdrop of DeepOnion, and this is why DeepOnion is rejecting so many applications for their airdrop.
