I don't agree with you. Yes, linesman did everything right by raising flag, but main referee didn't had to blow whistle and had to let play until end. We have VAR nd when we have such close moments, referees have to let play it until end and then check replay.
Not sure it was offside or no, it's 50/50 call and without lines from VAR replay you can't know. And it's not even about xG stats or deserving to reach final or extra time. It's only about being consistent with rules. Now another Real CL campaign is marked with contraversy.
Nope, incorrect. The referee has to trust the linesman - he's too far away to make that call and to let the play go on. What if it was 1m offside? He'd look like an idiot. Linesman is the one that has to keep the flag down if he's not sure, and in 99th minute of the game he surely should not have been sure in a situation like this. It's really 100% blame of the linesman - not the main referee. This. The main ref has nothing to do with offsides. Linesman has to raise the flag after the action finishes if he is not 100% certain. And he couldn't have been certain in that case for sure. It is not up to interpretation that is one of the actual VAR rules they implemented. |

Simply incredible, that is why you have the VAR, let it draw the lines after the play finishes. I understand that was a mistake but also a mistake was to keep playing after the 10th additional minute as that was the maximum added time while the referee kept going 4 minutes more and that offside situation happened in the 14th minute of added time so not much to be complaining for from Bayern and it was totally Neuer fault with his gag that conceded the first goal.It is going to be a great final and Real in important games looks like they have a winner's DNA so well done to them. It is not maximum time what the ref shows. It is actually minimal time. That means that having bigger extra time than shown is always possible and even mandatory in cases where you have substitutions, goals, var & similar after regular time was over. |

Only 1 winner so it's the guy with most points from all the rounds. Secondly, then, I guess, the re-buy-in won't make sense if you have too few points right? I'm just trying to think of a reason why someone would buy in again since if you are kicked out, you are with very big distance from 1st already. I would for sure rebuyin if it's a format of like the old Sportsbet Bracket Challenge. Everyone who makes it starts with zero points again. But if #1 has 10 points and I got 5 in round 1, why would I buy-in again to chase 5 points? This is important to ask because let's say, before the final, if 1 guy is too many points ahead, the rest will feel they will not want to re-buy for 5mbtc, then nobody rebuys and the "Final" is not exciting. Finally, what if many people are tied for lowest points, how do you eliminate players? Penalty question? Not sure I understood this. The rule says All teams with the lowest amount of points per round.Tackling your questions in opposite way. All teams with lowest points seems pretty understandable to me. If the lowest acore is 2, all that scored 2 are eliminated. Regarding rebuys, it is on each of us to judge if it is worth it. Just remember these questions are always in balance not like in Superbru. So leader is far from guaranteed to get good score. It is quite probable that someone gets 8 points one week and then gets 1 point in the next round and find himself eliminated. There is also at least 1000$ free bets pool to be split on all that reach the final. Will be a lot of tactics in final rounds for sure. |
