281  Other / Politics & Society / Re: God smiles when Americans die, 2(now 3) more U.S. mass shootings on: May 14, 2022, 05:01:59 PM
I never knew people have so much resentment against US. The people who died are innocent civilians. We need strict gun law and a good parenting I believe, There is something which seriously need to be fixed in US education system. Why school shooting is so common in US. It is not in china, japan, india, or even russia.
282  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Russia isn't using it's full force in Ukraine ? tactically .. on: May 14, 2022, 03:48:53 PM
its no longer 1940s when blitzkrieg  worked for germany, Nor is ukraine a weak nation. These days even small man portable weapons can significantly damage bigger military formations, Drones can bring down misslile systems and missiles can sink ships.
The war these days is a  protracted affair of attrition and Russian generals knew this, so they moved in slowly and cautiously
283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russians collectively hold about $130b in crypto on: May 14, 2022, 02:25:04 PM
Its not suprising at all. Russia is one of the biggest bitcoin holder, infact all major economies including USA, China and europeans hold big reserves of bitcoin and possibly some of the hidden treasures of bit coin are deliberately held by anonymous individuals, who actually are waiting for the true rise of bitcoin economy. Who knows they are no other than Putin or maybe CIA.
But I feel bad for both common ukrainians and common russians
284  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is lying now part of human nature? on: May 10, 2022, 03:37:19 PM
Diogenes of Sinope (l. c. 404-323 BCE) a Greek went around streets with a lantern in Athens. he was searching for an honest man. To his surprise he found none. But I believe I am one Grin Grin  Any ways its a place where we all want to maximize our profits. Profit of one is loss of the other, and to make profit lying become part of game. Stay honest, they will fool you, or else take the charge get smart, even if you are called a liar.
285  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanction isn't the right option on: May 10, 2022, 03:31:20 PM
Its a very sensible post. in fact why should citizens suffer for crimes of politicians. Moreover why don't countries united and supported the Ukraine initially, like how they are doing it now.
I think we need to create a international mechanism wherein citizens can express themselves against their own leaders if needed. In many countries the leaders start ruining countries for personal gains. There are many countries where citizens are suffering in oppressive rule and  citizens in such countries want to come out and overturn the governments, but they need support, atleast they should be allowed to express this  anguish... I believe Elon musk can do something on this. What say?
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think we should do with our investments in times of uncertainty? on: May 10, 2022, 03:21:48 PM
I feel very bad for Ukrainians and I feel they must have pondered on this point in last 2 months on this. I would like to hear prospective of any Ukrainian here how they managed their investments in these times of war.

Also if bitcoin really helped them in any way during the war. Personally I believe invest in technology, no matter in what form.
Its technology which is going to reward for sure. Invest in future tech like AI, Smart car companies,  Vaccine research firms and yes fir sure crypto
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to live a peaceful life? Without drama? Then HODL and enjoy the ride on: May 10, 2022, 03:14:00 PM
HODL is the best strategy, if you want make real profits, make long term investments. Bitcoin  is going to be a great asset in future. Its already too big to ignore and Its technological superiority over fiat will always keep it a good investment option and in long run it will always be profitable. But I believe in the current market short term investments in good projects is also a good avenue of making good money. SO while you keep HODL, keep chipping profit from small projects also.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The so called "Internet community" of naysayers on: May 10, 2022, 01:58:53 PM
Any technology when arrived was no at its best, take electricity, In start DC current was the most commonly distributed through small powerhouses. Edison was proponent of DC, while tesla stood for AC. edison used his clout to defame AC current, but since AC current was more efficient to distribute and use. It eventually won.
SO no matter what naysayers say the technological superiority of Bitcoin will always outweigh all the disinformation being soread and down the line 10 years these naysayers will be standing in line to buy crypto.

Just invest sensibly, HODL and wait.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Ethereum at risk of serious losses on: May 09, 2022, 04:57:47 PM
Bitcoin is on a course correction. As many alt coins have emerged in last year and many governments have bought stringent laws for regulation of crypto, the crypto is showing a bearish run. But eventually the speculative market will come to a dead end and the scam coins will die off. The investor will return back to bitcoin. More inclusion of bitcoin in formal economy will further strengthen the bitcoin and I believe that the best highs of bitcoin are yet to come
290  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can supplements be bad for you? on: May 09, 2022, 04:50:43 PM
Excess of supplements can lead to toxic effect also, these include conditions like hypervitaminosis due to vitamins, hemochromatosis by iron, wilson's disease by copper and so forth. The point tot noted here is  excess intake of water soluble vitamins like vitmanin B complex and Vitamin C may not cause severe problem, because they are water soluble and get excreted out in urine, However excess of fat soluble vitamins like Vitamin A,D,E, K can have serious adverse effects. I hope this information will help you to choose correct supplement for yourself.
291  Other / Archival / Re: Is ignorance bliss after all? on: May 08, 2022, 04:20:20 PM
Ignorance is a bliss as long as you are not getting affected and as long as you are not losing because of it. Else ignorance is a curse, which destroy not only individuals but families, states, countries and even civilization. All ignorant societies in history are dead. So be mindful we awake and be blissful
292  Local / India / Re: WazirX Founder & Co-founder have moved out of India? on: May 08, 2022, 04:16:26 PM
Indians are good at what they do. Indian techies are considered best at what they do, and indian government is best at what they do that is to keep us backward with their sanctions and un justifiable laws..
These laws are choking web 3.0 users in india
293  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [NOSVI] - Defeating Fascism at the Food Court on: May 08, 2022, 04:10:56 PM
It was a nice story..... Really liked it. But on a serious note I want to tell you guys that there is a invisible war going between us and the microbes and they are evolving quite fastly. Its like either we fight amongst ourselves or fight against them. We are already on our last line of defense and we need to develop new vaccines and antibiotics to win against them. So either stay free or stay safe. Make the right choice.
294  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why is russia putting everthing on the line for this war? on: May 08, 2022, 04:03:58 PM
Russia was a erstwhile superpower, It has a legacy of czarist rule of centuries. It still carry the same cultural values. Ukraine was once a part of USSR was a part of sphere of influence for Russia. Russia can never expect it to go into the arms of NATO. Expansion of NATO in the immediate sphere of influence of Russia was bound to have a backlash from Russia. So it happened. Yes this will weaken Russia in long run, but the real losers are common Ukrainians who lost everything they ever earned. I feel sorry for them.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Women's participation into cryptospace - Increased? on: May 08, 2022, 03:27:06 PM
Costliest Iconic painting Paris Hilton's NFT crypto queen is a woman. So you can guess what is the role of women in crypto. Women techies are equally active in crypto space as men. I believe we are in a very unisexual world where the gender gap has almost pugged up and this whole comparisons hold little relevance if any.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins and Influential Social Networks on: May 08, 2022, 05:00:23 AM
THis all depends on what you are posting. Social media is reflection of society and there will always be proponents and opponents of bitcoin in social space. The numbers will speak for themselves. However the true value of bitcoin is its economic value, which is rather increasing each and every day and I hope we will see bitcoin more stronger in future than it is now.
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin teaching approach on: May 08, 2022, 04:55:58 AM
I have also taught undergrads, I always believe that education system needs to evolve with the dynamics of society around. Books often become outdate and useless and overtime. Its very important that teaches acknowledge this and ensure that students are imparted knowledge of relevant topics. I appreciate your effort and I will suggest you that you should start systematically writing a book on How and what to to teach kids about bitcoin and I am sure your book will help other teachers in future. Maybe you will become a reknown teacher of bitcoin.
298  Economy / Economics / Re: Standard of living on: May 06, 2022, 04:05:06 PM
Resource crunch is a major problem the world is facing. We have become and more materialistic, both quantitatively and qualitatively. Previous self sufficient rural economies have been replaced by international supply chain dependent consumer good suppliers. But there is cost to everything. The cost is destruction of natural resources leading to their scarcity. Our generation is now seeing the aftereffects of extreme consumerism. We need to accept  it. We need to embrace minimalism to make sustainable development and make world more livable
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: May 06, 2022, 02:11:43 AM
Elon musk is very futuristic in his approach. He knows that data is digital gold, he invested in creating his own network of satellites for providing internet services, he bought tweeter, He has single handedly kept dodge in limelight and, this greatly enhanced the value  of dodge coin. I believe he is doing all this as a part of a bigger plan, where a decentralized economy, free from government control can be executed.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pay for coffee with Bitcoin on: May 06, 2022, 02:04:35 AM
I think "A lot can happen over coffee".. The Bit coin is brewing up into a elixer which everyone will seek in future.
Cofee is just a start, in future we will see major online stores accepting bitcoin and this will give a major boost to bitcoin economy. Those who belive that days of astronomical returns from bitcoin are over, made a immature calculation. As soon as major economies start accepting bitcoin, We will see astronomical rise in bitcoin economy
