There is a correlation between BTC and altcoins, right, but the one side depends on another one. As a short answer to your question, the altcoins depend on the price of Bitcoin due to the market dominance od last mentioned. If there is no transfer between altcoin marketcap and BTC, it means external sources were used for pumping altcoins.
if we pay attention to the market it does happen like that. but sometimes several factors block that correlation. like what happened in the middle of last year when bitcoin pumped with a very strong market domination that made altcoin unable to move. when the situation is different, we can see the correlation that you are talking about. and of course, everyone seems to be happy with this. |

This is gonna be the death of ICOs if this keep on continuing. People want more for the money they are willing to invest on. And the ICOs so far have been short of being substandard. The projects they have when compared to IEOs which is just to have a good program or site where you can exchange some new cryptocurrencies still outshines the projects a lot of ICOs put up. even some IEO projects are not reliable now. after making a successful admission to IEO, there was not much market response because the price was bad. I'm not sure their claim about success is just manipulation. |

Of course Bitcoin! There is no better coin than Bitcoin as an investment! Bitcoin halving on the way, Bitcoin is getting attention by the world leaders, it is being used by millions of people! So, the growth will be insane in Bitcoin this year! After Bitcoin I will choose Ethereum, then XLM and then TRX! BNB is not investing worthy coin if you intend to make profits!
I also suggest that to all because if everybody do invest bitcoin then we've got profit. I saw in your vote that all cryptos are good for long-term investment, but I suggest buying only BTC and ETH. And maybe if you have more money try to buy BNB because when the bearmarket hits BNB it touches the new ATH.
For me BNB can bring more profit than ETH in this year. ETH is a good investment because it is the leading altcoin in this market and it is very difficult to crash quickly. And BNB is an altcoin in the top 10, its price can collapse quickly but can also be pumped up quickly because its capitalization is much lower than ETH. Most of the people that owns BNB hold their tokens to get benefits of the binance exchange, you are right about BNB bringing more profit since most of the people hoard it. ETH is the #2 coin in the market, it's obvious for it to crash unless there's a major correction. we don't expect any major correction to occur this year. No, I am not sure yet. How cryptocurrency will be the future currency? We have been talking this for years but look we are at the same place, still, many countries don't accept crypto as a legal currency! So, in future cryptocurrency may be accepted by every country but that future is not soon!
Realistically when we think now it might be a difficult challenge to expect bitcoin to be used in the future, but anything can happen as long as it is still possible. the biggest challenge of using bitcoin on a mass scale is the regulation of government in a country, without regulations the use will not work maybe that won't happen. but I think the payment system uses crypto and there is no longer fiat money in the conventional market as a means of payment. it is possible that in the future every country will make their crypto so that they will not spend much more funding to print their country's fiat money. |

Altcoins always give hope to the investors, what needs to be done is the choice of selecting the right altcoin. Very few does it after hard analysis while majority go with random choice. This is where the failure on investing over altcoins were experienced. The more we spend in analysing the market through observation more will be the profitability with time. if it's a random choice may be not many do it. Investors who come in the crypto market will not just choose assets. I feared new altcoins will be left out so i start selling some coins for bitcoin because it can be a big blow if altcoin fails to surge like in 2017 after bitcoin reach a new ATH, what do you think? And what would you have done in my position
I have the same fear as you but I still believe that some new coins will be big in a long time. on average I only sell half the new coins that I receive from the bounty program, IEO/ICO investment, or Airdrop. collecting and HODL a few new coins will not be in vain. The most dangerous coins to hold are the coins we earned from bounties, 99% of bounty project already lost 90% of their value, only very few has good value now, i made a mistake holding few bounty tokens and they end up worthless, just a fair warning though not everything is like that. although the tokens of many bounties have experienced a large decline but it is a long-term project. they need time to strengthen their markets with good updates. and it all depends on the project that is running. |

Feel sorry for you, man. As of today LTC is at $57, and I don't really much think that it would ever go back to $30, you trust your guts too much, didn't you? LTC is just bouncing between $56 to $58 in the last 3 days. Well, my least guess is that if it breaks its support level LTC might just stop at $40. Better yet don't hold back at that price though.
LTC is in a bull phase and will definitely go higher if people tend to invest more in this coin. In fact, I always consider this the number one option in this market because this coin has helped me to make a lot of profits in the past and certainly one day Litecoin will reach $300. Of course it depends on the value of Bitcoin but surely Litecoin will not be able to decrease further. this is also a factor of halving that has been done. many people assume that halving has failed and has no impact on LTC prices in the market. but everything happens when after halving and demand increases. of course an increase in prices will occur. when bitcoin is better and makes a pump I think LTC can follow it. |

Hi guys do u think if i created a shit token (with no project) and add it to shit exchange can i get profit ?  i mean im preparing to create a token and add it to new exchanges with law fees and i promote investors for ex to give them 50 per cent of any ammount they bought from the token for ex if you bought 10000 coins i will give u 5000 coins for free do u think this idea can make investors buy it ? Bear season is really a big challenge for start-ups projects. Its really impressive for some start-ups reached their funding goals or launched their prooducts successfully despite the negative sentiment of the market. Bear season also gives us a sign who are those serious projects and who are not.
Usually those who manage to survive even with bear season are likely a project that has something to offer with real working products thus despite of the situation they continue to progress successfully. In times like this we can spot a project/coin that has a value and worth to support and invest because when the market turns to bull there's a big chance these projects are first to succeed. those who can survive in bad seasons like this are projects that are truly worth considering for our investment. not all projects can survive in difficult times even more than 2 years must maintain their community and market trust. of course, it is very difficult. even some projects also finally gave up on continuing the project. |

I am not against the topic OP, But not all signs also war can affect cryptocurrency. You have a point and its not possible to happen in the future and war is not a reason to pump the bitcoin.

I think all of above you mentioned it will more useful for promoting the any projects but we have a issues with social medias like Twitter maybe it not going to change anything because it not first time it has happened many times in past so I think there is nothing are going to change it will be continue as it now.
if it continues like this then nothing you will get from the bounty campaign. there must be a system that changes this system for bounty hunters who get certainty from supported projects. start from the community manager who should be more selective in choosing projects. do not need a lot of projects but a scam. It would be better if a little project but they pay. |

good if you are not a daily trader, btw I also save most of my assets for bitcoin and altcoin which I use only to make a daily profit. actually altcoin is also good for the long term if you put it in the right project, maybe your previous experience is stuck on a fake project?

I can conclude that you are warning not to invest with coins / tokens that have high prices but do not have trading volume on the exchange. for me, I prefer coins that are listed in the top 10 in cmc. I believe when the market improves they will raise the price again. it's only a matter of time

We can't know for sure what will happen, most of us waiting for a bull run for altcoins and don't know if will happen for all or the time, but litecoin should be the one of the altcoins that will grow on bull run, not huge total amount of coins and is listed on big exchanges.
especially after the halving done by LTC I think when there is a pump on the market and the demand for LTC has also increased I think the price may grow far from the current price. |

Crypto scam is already here for years and it will live as long as crypto is alive. Crypto schemes is the easiset way to scam people with huge ammount of money, ive seen some cases on the news. We must educate all newbies in crypto to stay away on these scam attempts.
we just need to improve our ability to analyze project scams. don't be easily fooled if you don't want your money to be taken away by scammers. indeed there are more and more scam projects, but I think now not much money has been successfully brought from investors. |

I think the hope for Altcoin can to grow in 2020 the possibility still existsbecause after all these years of suffering and this year is an opportunity for Altcoin back to rise up.I'm sure many positive things that will happen in this year, especially for Altcoin and the most that awaited is it Altcoin season on of year 2020. hopefully that can to happen.
hopefully, that can happen. we have long been in a bad condition for the altcoin market. some pumps also only occur in bitcoin. but if this year it all happened the same as in the middle of last year it will be difficult for Altcoin to get the season this year. |
