Until people realize Bitcoin is a superior store of wealth, and dump all their gold in favor of BTC. The value of gold will plummet whenever we hit that critical inflection point. This is a question of when, not if. If and when this does happen, I agree with you that the precious metals market will sell off. And with that correction, it may present an excellent opportunity to look at the metals. |

Frankly I don't see anything wrong with the valuation. BitPay is a leader in its space and as others have said before me, this valuation may look ridiculously low in a year or two from now. Using the Beats as an example with its rumored sale to Apple, the valuation for that company back in September was $1 billion dollars after the Carlyle Group purchased 50% of the company for $500 million. so if i send btc now when i will receive the bonus, anyone here received it?  or should i wait to the next round? I received it at last bonus. I think that in time you will receive your bonus and then at some point you may even be able to withdraw it. The problem i see for a few of us here is that he's not online enough to manage this giveaway appropriately. And for whatever reason he doesn't feel the need to answer any of our PM's. |

To answer the OP's question, I would choose bitcoin if I'm looking at it as an investment with a long term horizon. I would choose gold if I was thinking about retirement soon. I think it all depends on your time horizon and what the overall purpose is.

I checked your posts and you made only ~35 this month. The other 20 are numbers posted in games, or replies in this topic. Posts like "Received, thank you" or "My guess is 123" are of the same quality as "lol" or "You are right". Although I don't see the difference in what is said on a post when the signature is being put out there, I do respect the rules that you put in place. I wasn't spamming or posting never ending back and forth comments to drive up my numbers. I guess I will go ahead and remove the signature, because I don't see the point of trying to post 15 long winded comments in the next few days to make it look as if It was something that it isn't! Best! This isn't about spam, but simple post quality, I don't think any campaign counts posts from the giveaway section. I'm trying not to be too strict about it, even one sentence is enough. Please understand, that I want to pay you, but if I start breaking the rules and paying people for pasting their btc address in the giveaway section I'll just encourage them to do it more often. 0.04 BTC for 15 posts (whenever you can make it) is a good offer IMO, so it's your choice. One more thing, a comment doesn't have to be long, I don't even care if you have 49 legit posts instead of 50, but you have about 10 (20%) posts like this one "My guess is 8 4 7". Fully understand. I didn't know about the posts not counting in the giveaway section.
