281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If india bans Cryptocurrency as per the draft law, What happens to the community on: June 10, 2019, 06:32:42 AM
If Indians holding cryptos like bitcoin only uses wallet that doesn't require KYC, and wait for the right time where cryptos are unbanned and are totally accepted by their government,  then I guess it will be better for them to do so. It may somehow affect the market and we don't want that to happen.  I just hope they will not implement the bill of sending people holding and trading bitcoin for 10 years in the prison just like what I've read.
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Global problems of cryptocurrency that cannot be sold by humanity on: June 10, 2019, 01:31:46 AM
1. The exchanges are weak. There are more and more cases when hackers steal a huge amount of money and we can't do nothing with it
2. There's not enough privacy and security. U say blokchain is private and secure but what about frauds that leads to kyc protocols integration
3. Manipulations on the market. Usual ppl just lose because of that
Do u have any solutions?
If I'm right,  all these things are also done by human.  Hackers are human as well as the ones who manipulate the market. Well it is inevitable. As long as there are people who keeps on relying to other people in order to get what they wanted, there will always be risks in cryptos.  Well, there will always be answers to these problems.  People will not stop finding ways to stop or to lessen this kind of problems.
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I LOST OVER 10 BTC IN GAMBLING IN 2018 on: June 10, 2019, 01:01:00 AM
If you dont have discipline then most likely you will fail.

Discipline has no link to gambling.

you don't gamble with discipline. That would mean you intend to have a strategy and to win.
You can't have a strategy. it's useless.

Gambling is for the fun of it! For the thrills and how you wish to hit that button again Cheesy

You can discipline yourself mentally to only gamble with a certain amount of money per week.
Gambling is fine as long as you set yourself limits.

Yes, its true.  A strategy is just a way to win but still there are risks in those strategy. It doesn't work all the time.  That is where you'll need discipline. If you think you're strategy didn't work and you keep on losing after using that strategy, why don't you limit yourself with your bets or if you're disciplined enough, stop playing for that day and wait for other day.  In that way,  you'll stop yourself from losing and losing.
284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your country knows about cock fighting betting? on: June 10, 2019, 12:46:51 AM
Cock fighting is indeed one of the known and popular gambling in the Philippines. People raise roosters not to cook it but to let it be in in cockfights. Cockfight arenas are filled with people watching and yelling for their bets. Rooster who lose usually dies and will be cooked for dinner by the owner who won,  but if it is lucky enough to survive the fight,  then it better be ready for another fight after it recovered.
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still bother to engage non Bitcoiners? on: June 10, 2019, 12:23:34 AM
I don't really like convincing and forcing people to like what I like and to believe in what I believed in. I respect their decisions and opinion.  I do believe in bitcoin cause I see its advantages and its capability to lead in the future, I'm sure they will want bitcoin too if they also see these advantages.  Maybe not now,  but I know sooner or later, they will.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be junk/trash after ban in 2 big countries on: June 09, 2019, 06:26:03 PM
Bitcoin got banned in India and China so Bitcoin is worthless in these 2 countries. People of India will lose $10,000 or $100,000 if they do not get buyers in other countries at $7000.

But who will buy 1 Bitcoin for $7000 ??  Grin  Insider's Information for Gold and Silver

Bollywood superstar "Amitabh Bachchan" earned multi-million dollars by starting a Bitcoin company.
I feel sorry for these two countries.  They are stopping themselves to be part and to have access to these innovative technology. But still, bitcoin won't be crashed and stopped by these to two countries from taking and leading the world someday (well obviously, to them it is). It may influence other people though, but still there are lot of users and investors who'll keep investing and believing in bitcoin.
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Psychological Technique - Play without Pressure on: June 09, 2019, 06:07:33 PM
I'm not really into gambling but I know a lot of people who gambles. I thought at first that gambling only needs luck in order to win but yeah,  I think that emotions also get the way in order to win.  If a person keeps winning every time he bets,  he'll feel excited yet comfortable everytime where he can think better else on the other hand,  losers will get depress and frustrated where their decision making are affected.  They'll tend to bet more because of the desire to win and retrieve money they lose.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: big banks going against crypto on: June 09, 2019, 12:59:58 PM
As cryptocurrencies takes over the world little by little, more and more people are switching and moving their assets to it.  Most people prefer bitcoin, as well as I, if I were to move my assets from banks. Banks offer low interests and it can be controlled that gives people reason not to trust it which is the opposite of bitcoin. Another thing,  bitcoin has the biggest potential to grow in the market. Another coin that I would to invest in is ethereum.
289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From Janitor to Millionaire on: June 09, 2019, 03:57:30 AM
This was on the news this week on our local television. A man named Vito Halasan was won a 7M canadian dollars in a draw. He is already on late 50's and is currently working as a janitor and buy lottery tickets for the hope to have a better life. I dont think that this man is lucky but i consider him blessed. They say that gambling isnt the answer to poverty but this man becomes an exception knowing he deserved to won and i know its really for him.

“I buy lottery tickets so I can dream. I dream of being able to take care of my kids and make their future better. Now we’ll be able to buy a nice house for my children and grandchildren,” -  Vito Halasan

In every rule, there is an exception but we also should not compare his life to us. The universe wants to make him win because of some particular reasons. If you devote your money and time with gambling, you will end up with a life completely opposite to him. Hardwork and dedication is really the key.

Here's the link for complete article:
https://news.mb.com.ph/2019/05/29/filipino-janitor-wins-7-million-jackpot-in-canadian-lottery/

After years of struggles and hard work as a janitor,  he really deserves this kind of blessing. Maybe he is a good man. Maybe, God has seen him struggled a lot just for him to give better living to his family and He gave him this kind of blessing to end those struggles. A man who is genuine in his words and actions deserves best things this world could ever give. Good for him.  I just hope he'll not waste this opportunity given to him and find ways to also help other people struggling financially.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apocalyptic Scenario - What happens to Bitcoin? on: June 09, 2019, 02:15:20 AM
If there will be no internet and electricity in that apocalyptic scenario that will lead us to chaos if that future is to come,  then bitcoin will have no value at all.  People will not be able to have access and will not be able to make transactions out of it.  It will be useless.  Traditional currency will be used to trade goods not gold and bitcoins.
291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason we need cryptocurrencies on: June 08, 2019, 10:10:10 AM
Cryptos offers freedom in controlling your own money and assets without relying to any banks and third parties, it is already given to all of us by cryptos, but for me personally,  cryptos gave me opportunity to earn money by doing campaigns and other things it offers.
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling.. way to loss on: June 08, 2019, 09:56:34 AM
I think gambling is all about luck.  You can double your bet up to 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x, or even how many times you want to be if you are lucky enough. If it is your day,  then you'll win,  if not, then you'll lose all the money you bet.  If you are wise enough to know that it is not your day,  then you're lucky,  don't gamble and reserve your money for other days.  That's how it works.
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling frustration and depression on: June 08, 2019, 09:44:46 AM
If you make gambling as a form of living then you are bound to experience the same fate. If you only take it as a hobby to kill time then you'd be better off. I also get disappointed/frustrated sometimes after a loss but not to a point where I lose sleep thinking about it.
Definitely. I know someone who keeps relying and using gambling as a source of money. I thought that he only likes to have fun and kill time with this hobby but no,  he said that it is his only hope to be rich but the hell it's not.  That kind of mindset are for those lazy, greedy people out there who only wants to make a living by depending on other people's wealth. It will not only make him feel depressed and frustrated will also drive him to do bad things if he keeps on doing that kind of thing.  What he needs to do is to stop or he can't, he can still gamble with the amount of money he can afford to lose without depending that he'll make a living with it.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption In Your Country on: June 08, 2019, 09:23:23 AM

This is for members outside of the United States of America since things going in that country are all on the news but for those countries who are usually outside the radar of the mainstream media, I would like to get updates which can be good and bad, favorable and unfavorable with bitcoin. Here in my country, we have no problem with the government as regulatory bodies are not hindering the growth of cryptocurrency and in fact we have many more exchanges already approved and they can start doing business in 2020. Reading the news in other countries, I am feeling lucky to be a resident here.

What about in your own native land...how's bitcoin adoption been going on? Is there a bright future in there or maybe is it facing a gloomy and cloudy prospect? Let's talk...
Here in my country bitcoin is very well accepted and we can spend our bitcoins freely,we can buy cellphone load recharge, gaming pins, paybills, cashout to banks and many remitance centers.Bitcoin usage here in my country is pretty good, you can spend your bitcoin on the main things you need daily.

Same goes here in my country, we can do all said things above. In addition, I think many people even teens are involving themselves to cryptos. They are aware of the good things bitcoin as well as other coins can offer to them financially and in their daily lives.  The government here is not against it so we are not having any issues about it.

296  Economy / Economics / Re: Dont believe on sale on: May 30, 2019, 03:51:50 PM
Yes, sales are just tempting and luring people to buy things not really important and needed. No doubt that when we hear the word "SALE", the first thing comes in our mind is that will get a discount and buy that thing cheaper than its usual price were in fact, we're not. This "sale" thing is just one of the strategies used by the seller to tempt us to buy their products which in fact are not that needed in our life. If we got lured by these things, we tend to overspend and worse, we'll lose our money/budget for a month. Same things go in investing in bitcoin. If you keep believing in FUDs being spread here, then you'll eventually miss the chance to invest in a good time to purchase it, which we do not want to happen.
297  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin goes down, no new rich people anymore on: May 30, 2019, 03:14:05 PM
It needs a lot of patience before people start seeing profits and good results in investing in cryptos. And yes, if people are only here to make profits in a very short period of time, eventually, they will get the opposite of it. Early adopters of bitcoin waited so long to earn lots of profits they had during the highest peak of bitcoin in order to be called rich. Now that the market is in green, surely people are gonna start buying bitcoins and wait patiently for the hype. And those people who keep doubting bitcoin will cry their asses when that hype happens.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need so many cryptocurrency exchanges? on: May 30, 2019, 11:02:40 AM
In addition to the exchanges listed on the CMC, there are many other exchanges. I have a question WHY do we need so many exchanges? What do You think the new exchange will be able to attract potential users?

Many exchanges in the market give investors a lot of options on where to put and entrust their assets to. More people involving themselves to cryptocurrencies and the market gives and opens up doors to new exchanges to engage themselves into. But, not all exchanges are decent and trustworthy, there are also many scammers introducing themselves as an exchanger and that we need to be careful about.
