281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: antminer e3 profitability newest ethereum miner from bitmain how does it compare on: April 04, 2018, 01:17:42 AM
Don't forget, the bitmain clearly states:

"These are the conservative estimates. We expect the miners to deliver higher performance and efficiency when they are ready to ship."

Meaning we could see greater efficiency from them after all. What i'm actually curious about is the noise. Will it be as noisy as the S9?
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The Gap Between Reported Hashrate and Effective Hashrate in ETH Mining on: April 03, 2018, 09:27:37 AM
Nice attempt to get some merits. Is this the type of quality that the merit system brings to this forum? I appreciate the efforts of the author and how he did this instead of begging like other newbies out there, but the sad reality is, its a lot of words but the message is pretty simple and could have been fully explained using less.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO Coin Limit - Non-stop?? on: April 03, 2018, 08:54:28 AM
1) There is no World government
2) No government even accepts cryptocurrencies, let alone new shit ICOs
3) Agree scams suck
4) Big companies trying to get a piece of the pie, but they may succeed because of previous power and influence. Same can't be said for shit ICOs.

No government accepts cryptocurrencies? I don't know what you've been reading mate but i believe Japan, Switzerland, and even Germany are doing this already. I'd link the sources to that but i think you can google it yourself.

EDIT: heres one: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=does+japan+government+accept+bitcoin

live under a rock much?
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A3 Mining on: April 03, 2018, 07:20:58 AM
A fool and his money is easily BITMAINED 🤦🏿‍♂️😂😂

Lol BITMAINED. /cheers

That should probably be a coined term by now. Anyway this seems like a trash post. The OP said "19-20" A3 miners? What you don't know how many ASICs you own? Don't understand what the intentions of the OP are but this is trash. Obviously SIA and CN ASICs will die soon.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Make a short video. Get 1 ETH on: April 02, 2018, 06:12:16 AM
Nice user interface but your site seems so fake. Especially that part where it says "trusted all over the world" and where exchanges keep happening. Obviously simulated. I seriously doubt that many people are or have used your platform. 1 ETH is also a big giveaway that could be won by a fake winner. Why not spread the winnings across and be transparent about all the postings using this forum. Setup a bounty that everyone can join and see. This is not the correct board to do that.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH discussion !!! on: April 02, 2018, 05:02:31 AM
Most people on this thread have said "yes" ethereum's value will recover in the following weeks to come but ended at that.

Here is WHY i think it will recover.

1. ethereum is too big to fail - it is the second largest by market cap because so many people have invested. those investors will buy more if the price goes any lower to ensure ETH stays alive.
2. ethereum has an amazing dev team - their goal is to change the world and they are very active in doing so. just check their regular updates.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why all coins are dropping? on: April 02, 2018, 04:20:57 AM
Everything is dropping because bitcoin is dropping. All other altcoins, and actually the entire cryptocurrency market has a direct correlation to bitcoin price. People perceive bitcoin as cryptocurrency. Only until we see bitcoin pump will we see an increase in the value of our altcoins.

Heres my "coin"tribution:

289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: On the brighter side, ETH difficulty is down. on: April 01, 2018, 02:22:40 AM
What im saying is this is the start of the difficulty drop. Have you see the charts today? Still on a downtrend right? Thats because there is no way that people aren't rattled by this. Mining was over hyped a few months ago and those newbies are now scrambling to sell their rigs. ETH difficulty will go down esp. if this continues for a few weeks more. Some people mine at $0.2 and look at daily profits you know..
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which 1070TI do you recommend? Need Advice on: March 31, 2018, 02:04:10 PM
Bad idea but go ahead if you'd like to throw away your money.

I'd pick the Gigabyte windforce because its much cheaper and really doesn't matter in the end. When this GPU is reduced to gaming, differences in brand will matter very little.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Rig keeps shutting off on: March 31, 2018, 09:43:47 AM
Try removing the GPU you just added and let it run for a while to check if that solves the shutdown problem. If the problem persists then its most likely your drivers. Try doing a resinstall using DDU. I always install AMD drivers first before NVIDIA. Good luck mate.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rumor in April Fools' Day on: March 31, 2018, 04:46:47 AM
Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency values are not at all related to specific dates. If somebody tells you prices change on a certain days then they are wrong or trying to fool you. This is a complex market is not easily subject to speculation or hearsay.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Exchange? on: March 31, 2018, 02:41:53 AM
I would say the best exchange for me with the greatest potential to grow would be KUCOIN. I absolutely love how everything looks professionally done and the fact that they are so active in listing new coins. You could also buy kucoin shares and earn some passive income by profit-sharing with kucoin.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is still Ok to invest in Etherium on: March 30, 2018, 11:59:09 PM
Yes Ethereum is always a good buy. It is one of the first movers and have always been backed by a solid team and developing community. Their goals are to change the world and i believe they will be able to do just that. We just need to be patient and do everything we can to support Ethereum.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: On the brighter side, ETH difficulty is down. on: March 30, 2018, 04:23:25 AM
How can you deny it when the chart is right there in front of you? Take a look at the past few months, its never gone down this sharply for this long.
Things are changing. Miners are quitting.

Yes, miners are quitting, asics are not. Sadly more than 50% of the hashrate is coming from asics, also right now it shows that the difficulty is going down but you need to understand that bitmain and co will be filling with more asics, so you will not see drop in the hashrate or difficulty for that matter. So for 100 gpus quitting, bitmain adds one asic to cover it for each 100 gpus hehe

The problem is that until there is a confirmed actual ETH ASIC, all those reports are still only RUMORS. I wouldn't factor them into the equation.

Anyway my point is that ETH difficulty has dropped and most likely won't be rising up again until we see the market value rise up again.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: On the brighter side, ETH difficulty is down. on: March 30, 2018, 03:16:03 AM
It's not down at all.

What you are looking at is just some variance.

Give it a week or two and it will probably go to a new high anyways in difficulty.

297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / On the brighter side, ETH difficulty is down. on: March 29, 2018, 11:06:26 PM
People seem to have shut down their rigs. Maybe a few farms at least.

Latest ETH difficulty chart can confirm:

Lets celebrate! No merits necessary.  Wink
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is bountyhive suspicious to you? on: March 29, 2018, 10:51:35 PM
It seems very suspicious to me that the BountyHive is a black box.  We do not get to see who is entering.  There is no spreadsheet.  There is no oversight.  Bountyhive could be taking half the coins for themselves for all we know.

Then a new bounty comes out.

The bounty fills up and closes faster than airdrops.  I'm talking 5k participants within a few hours.  Go check every other bounty spreadsheet with public results here on the forum.  You do not find anything close to this rate of participation anywhere else.

I have no idea if they are legit or not but something seems off in all of this and I'm writing to see if anyone else has the same suspicions.  BountyHive could be pulling off a large heist.  How would we know?

5k participants within a few hours is indeed suspicious. Following your theory, i would suspect that they are using bots to automate bounties and taking some of the bounty rewards. What they're doing essentially is as simple as robbing the robbers (ICOs). So i guess good job to them. I'd rather stick with bounties here in the forums.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any word on amd vega hash rates? on: March 29, 2018, 12:47:11 PM
0,5 ETC Reward for the best answer!!!!! (If that answer works)

Hi, I'm typically getting about 1850 h/s++(This card can handle 935 mem clock) and there's 2 card only can get 1808+ h/s (If I push further more than p3 910+ I got "Invalid AMD" using xmr stak and "!Rejected, nonce invalid" using cast xmr) with my Vega 56 powercolor red devil (Hynix memory) without flashing the BIOS. Any idea how to push my vega with hynix memory? I've been following guide vega.mining.guides.com but unfortunately still same. Only got 1808-1850 hashrate. (0.5 etc reward for best answer) thankyou~~~

My rig setup : Amdblockchain driver + Following Guide circusdad (Vega.mining.guide) using powertable P3 950/900 (But, unfortunately my card can't get pass 950. Most stable setting 905-930) P7 1407/950 .

My rig spec : Motherboard Asus Z270-P , 6x Rx Vega 56 Red Devil (Hynix), PSU 2xHx850I, Intel G4400, Ram 2x 4gb team elite 2400

My real Nightmare Problem : -Crap Hashrate can't get pass 1930++ hash -If I setup AMD txt on XMR STAK with double thread intensity 1932/1932 after a few hours later got freeze and I got massage "XMR STAK Application has been blocked from accesing graphic hardware" <--- this really annoying one.

That's pretty much how much the Hynix can go as far I have seen on any results posted unless you flash it to V64 bios (unfortunately, haven't seen them around).  You can probably try running neoscrypt algo coins since those are not memory bound and might be better on these AIB cards.  Should get ~2 KH/s @250w.

Even if you flash your VEGA 56 with a 64 bios, 1900 is still a good hashrate for maximum profitability. Doing 2000 H/s at 250w is simply not worth it because of poor power efficiency. Do i qualify for the 0.5 ETC? Lol.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH ASIC Miner here to DOOM GPU Miners? Vitalik response + GPU Prices Lowering on: March 29, 2018, 02:30:09 AM
But how reliable is the 8btc.com website? Is that a reliable enough source to confirm that an ETH ASIC is really being built? The 8btc websites actually cites a different source "technews" for this. Seems like a lot of finger pointing which may end up all to be FUD.
