Hello! Is the Blockbid platform already running in test mode? Can I take part in testing? What do I have to do for this?

There won't be any remaining tokens - only those tokens sold will ever be created. We will now simply stop accepting ICO funds once 3m tokens have been sold, so only 3m tokens will ever be created.

Wish you would have accepted Bitcoin or Litecoin, I don't use ETH for anything. I would have joined the ICO, I think you have a great idea here and I'm sure it will be prosperous, good luck!
You can however send us btc or ltc privately and we will hold it on trust and send you the equivalent amount of BID tokens once the ICO is complete, but you'd still need an ETH wallet to receive them, so it'd be just as easy to convert your btc to eth on an exchange. |

90% Reduction in Maximum Coin Supply Blockbid is pleased to announce that it has reduced its maximum coin supply from 30m tokens to 3m tokens. This decision has been made following investor feedback and to ensure investor confidence. This will be done by pausing the smart contract once 3m tokens are sold. As before, our soft cap remains at 1m tokens. If this figure is not achieved, all ETH received is automatically refunded via the smart contract. The initially planned and stated maximum potential coin supply of 30m, if the ICO was fully subscribed, would result in a Blockbid market cap of approx USD$20m, which is higher than justified given our relatively early stage of development. The original hard cap was formulated to provide adequate supply for a large number of traders to receive free or discounted brokerage on our exchange, as no additional coins will ever be minted. We also feel it is important to only raise the funds that are required to build the exchange, and USD$2m will be sufficient for this. If further funds are required in addition to USD$2m, they will be raised via private equity. With a reduced maximum supply of 3m tokens, the highest possible market cap Blockbid can attain based on ICO pricing is approx USD$2m; this figure is commensurate with our current stage of progress. This will support BID token value upon commencement of trading, which will be shortly after ICO completion on one or more of the many existing exchanges. Blockbid is and will continue to be highly attentive to user and investor feedback, and one of our primary concerns is to ensure that the on-market value of our tokens meets or exceeds the price paid by ICO participants. With this adjustment, the maximum market cap and coin supply upon commencement of trading will be 90% lower than stated in our initial ICO announcement. Obtaining the AFSL is just a process, it will take a bit of time, a bit of money and a bit of paperwork.
We will announce progress of the application as it progresses on Bitcointalk and Twitter.
Re AUSTRAC the regulators are forming a slightly ammended protocol that may see us require a license, with or without accepting or trading fiat.
Effectively if certain proposed changes are implemented under AUSTRAC, we will need the license sooner than we otherwise would have, but that's really the only difference.
We will keep everyone updated of any regulatory changes that affect us.

Powerledger, the first and most recent ICO to come out of Australia, only finished collecting funds a week ago, with no problems at all from regulators.
We've been very careful to ensure our tokens can in no way be considered securities - they are effectively vouchers that allow you to receive an otherwise paid service for free.

+1 - The insurance aspect is nice.  +1 - All the coins -1 - Centralized exchange (and therefore DDoS and other attacks)  -10 - Centralized private keys. Sorry, I don't care if you keep my private keys in a hardware wallet on a militarily base. If I don't hold my private keys, you can't have my business. Millions of $$$ got dished out in the Bitcoin Cash fork. Only few exchanges gave their customer's Bitcoin Cash for the balance they held. Maybe I'm old school, but point of bitcoin is "decentralization", and centralized exchanges are not true to the original vision. |

No offence taken, the back end is well under development but ICO funding is required to make this exchange the best in the world, we are perfectionists and with the impressive plan and dedication we have, Blockbid will attract a large market share of trading volume post public launch.
The website buttons are all working properly - they scroll you down to the relevant part of the website. The Whitepaper button is just the only one with something downloadable.
Our developers and blockchain experts are already working full time, funded by private equity.

The first accepted will be AUD, USD, CAD, EURO, British Pound, Yen, Yuan and Won. After that we will continue adding currencies according to user growth from each country.

Creating a decentralised exchange is in our roadmap so users will be able to use one or the other or a combination of the two.
Centralised exchanges are much faster, and decentralised exchanges have there own issues.
Our initial exchange will basically be a more secure, more intuitive, more convenient, more transparent version of Bittrex and other leading centralised exchanges, whilst also listing a far larger range of coins, and with the ability to deposit fiat currency directly (this feature will be added later once we have the required licenses in place).
