281  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] TAT.VIRTUALMINE - IPO at 12PM EST - Early Bidding is Open on: June 07, 2013, 05:29:43 PM
Anyone jumping ship is misinformed. TAT.VIRTUALMINE is worth way more then BTC0.072 with the divs so high. Thanks for another timely div, it seems to be getting earlier lol.
282  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: June 07, 2013, 12:49:16 AM
I tried myself to create a list with AM shareholders based on yesterday's dividends:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AtqphFCP56ordGVCakJxSU90MlB4MlBkZENya25pS2c

I got > 398k of the 400k shares. If you find any errors please let me know!

Since there are almost 400,000 shares on the list it mean PT shares are included. But there are no transfers with around 20,000 shares (btct.co and bitfunder). So it must mean the pass through exchanges don't get dividends in one transfer, but multiple.

Which of the transfers belong to pass throughs?

Hint: On the passthrus, you can see how many each hold (BF/BTCT). Check out the G Doc listed above to see which address that holds that number of shares. Presto...

How does it work? Does AM make one big payment to pass throughs and the pass through makes small payments inside? Or AM pays dividends to each share holder inside of a pass through?

Edit, while typing an answer appeared by burnside. Does that work the same way with BitFunder?

AM sends the dividends to burnside or deadterra and those people sends it out to that shares in the PT. Its indirect and you never come into contact with friedcat.
283  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] TAT.VIRTUALMINE - IPO at 12PM EST - Early Bidding is Open on: June 06, 2013, 06:53:07 PM
the Dividend was really low.. strange is that the difficulty  raised by 28%  but the Dividend was gone down by almost 50%     a bit strange or not?    Maybe TAT could offer a kind of Bonus because the dividend of th AM shares  was so high ;-)

Its the same. ฿0.00003223*1.284=฿0.00004138. At this difficulty its ฿0.00003223 per 1 Mh/s. You can check it on a mining calculator.

It actually went down 22.1% from ฿0.00004138.

Strange. I thought Friedcat's update would generate a lot of reactions but instead it has been rather quiet in this thread.

Thank you for the update Your Friedness!

Looking forward to next week's divs.  Smiley

Maybe everyone is still at work.
285  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] TAT.VIRTUALMINE - IPO at 12PM EST - Early Bidding is Open on: June 06, 2013, 05:40:40 PM
Why did the dividend amount drop? Is this share price related or difficulty change related?

 Huh

All forms of mining are affected by difficulty.

As fully detailed, and discussed at length in this thread, these bonds are equivalent to 1 MH/s and paid daily according to the simulated hashing power according to the listed formula.

Basically the share prices will loosely reflect how much it cost per 1Mh/s. You can treat this bond as a mining rig that gets 100% instead of 95% from pools.
286  Economy / Securities / Re: Kenilworth Exploration (Australian Mineral Exploration) on: June 06, 2013, 04:34:31 PM

- Apologies for the delay, I'm compiling an answer into what I hope will be an easy to understand chart.
Please bear with me on this for a few more hours and it shall be posted.

- Thank you for your time.

In the interim here is a great article.
Link: http://tinyurl.com/bo97kea

All figures are taken from the anticipated completion of the IPO.

- The Electromagnetics will give a visualization of the size, angle, and shape of the mineralization. Drilling will give the levels of mineralization in parts per million. Once completed, a company like SRK can evaluate the quantity of a mineral reserve(s) that Kenilworth will own, Interest from the major mining companies (introductions have been initiated) will then acquire a majority equity holding. This will produce a large dividend scenario for all investors.

- We will also ensure that all shareholders will retain an interest by way of a royalty from future mineral extractions from any of our ELs by any future owners (to be negotiated).

- In the shorter term, prior to defining the quantity of actual mineral reserves that Kenilworth will own, a return to each investor will be by an increase in equity (share) value resultant from the electromagnetic survey of our exploration licenses, which will be evaluated and published during the first four months and also after that by the publication of our drilling results every three months.

- Also, shareholders may generate a return on their investment by selling their shares on a Bitcoin share trading platform as the assett value of Kenilworth appreciates following mineral exploration activity.

- The following calculations are based on an investment of 10 bitcoins (BTC). And should be considered an outline of "estimated return."
The numbers in the following two tables are based upon a bitcoin value of $119.70.

Table A

- Table A shows the ROI (return on investment) only based upon the offer document and shows no contribution to ROI from the expenditure of the funds raised upon the asset value of Kenilworth Exploration. Thus with an investment of ten (10) BTC, they will be worth and equivalent of 15 BTC after the third round of funding.

Table B

- Table B shows the values in Table A, however, an additional section is added to show the increase in asset value expected by management from the expenditure of the specific funds raised in each of the 3 rounds of funds.

- Thus, with a 10 BTC investment, management would expect to conservatively see these increase to an equivalent of 22 BTC. Following the expenditure of the funds from round one and the asset appreciation from the EM surveys undertaken. This value will increase to an equivalent value of 39 BTC after the expenditure of the 2nd round of funding and the results of the drilling which will be undertaken are reported upon at that time.  Again, with the expenditure of round three funding, the completion of the drilling and the contribution to our joint venture partners, the initial ten bitcoins would be expected to be worth in the region of an equivalent 69 BTC.

I hope this is somewhat understandable. Do not hesitate to ask for any clarification.

Thank you and please keep polling 4 days till close.

How will you cope with bitcoin if it doubles in price($240/BTC)? I'm thinking in order for it to work in a situation like that you'll have to keep a reserve of BTC.
Maybe I missed it but what is the time frame from now to round 1, 2 and 3?

and I thought I was rich all of a sudden... Sad

Sad Its ok. We are all rich in our own way.

This is probably one of the best investments mankind has seen in a very very long time. This baby is paying a sweet amount of dividend out as well as rising in value like a monster. God I love myself for buying at the right time  Grin

A board seat (5000 shares) sold for BTC500 at the IPO, and Bitcoin was around $13 at the time. Right now the last trade on BTC-TC was for BTC2.551/share, and Bitcoin is at $131.84... that's turning a $6500 investment in to over 1.6 million dollars in less than a year.

Decent.  Roll Eyes

:O if only.

291  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder] TAT.ASICMINER New Micro-share Passthrough on: May 23, 2013, 12:11:52 AM
Dividends paid at .000198 !

I haven't checked, but did you recieve the dividends from upstream yet?

Nope, still waiting!

Good guy TAT: Didn't receive divs yet. Pays divs anyway.
292  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: May 22, 2013, 04:20:35 AM
TAT - Had to reply to your (terrible) example.

If direct (or PT) divs = 100 BTC
Then TAT divs =           95 BTC

an example should be simple and illustrate a point.
Meanwhile, what I mean is that I don't trust your security. You're the one who has to make me trust you, not the opposite.
No transfer to direct shares = no trusting the security.

You guys are looking at this all wrong.

Assume 2.5BTC/Share and 0.035 dividends.
Lets say only have enough to buy .8 of a share and tomorrow is Wednesday. Do I just let 2BTC sit around doing nothing? No. This is where the genius of TAT comes in. I get 80 TAT shares and when dividends hit I get 0.028-5%=0.0266 more BTC then I would have had. Now I'm a little closer to buying a whole share. The fee means very little because if TAT wasn't around I'd just have the BTC sitting there.

TL;DR Make BTC work for you, not the other way around.
293  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] 50 ASICMiner shares on: May 21, 2013, 10:13:12 PM
Well I thought he meant 5 mins after the last bid once the 72 hours passed, no?
End time remains 72 hours plus five minutes Shocked
Vaguely worded but intent seems to be 3 day auction with additional 5 minute add ons at very end. OP shoul clarify before we get closer to the end.

this is how i'm reading this. As long as someone is bidding before this auction ends it will NEVER END!!!!! Shocked
294  Economy / Securities / Re: Selling G.ASICMINER-PT on: May 21, 2013, 09:54:48 PM

295  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] TAT.ASICMINER New Micro-share Passthrough! on: May 21, 2013, 09:02:25 PM
So is tat.asicminer on btct.co different than tat.asicminer on bitfunder.com? I just noticed the prices starting to diverge.

Is the BTCT.CO and BITFUNDER.COM the same security? Same name but 2 different securities correct?

Two different because it in different places. Same because its ran by the same person.

Thank you TAT for making the 1/100 shares. Its an amazing idea. Viva la revolución
