281  Economy / Economics / Re: Boycotting iSrAEl's product? think again. on: November 17, 2023, 02:57:00 PM
My cousin works at Starbucks but he has had his working hours reduced because visitors to Starbucks have decreased drastically since the boycott was carried out by people.

To be honest, on the one hand, I feel sorry for him, but what is currently people doing (the boycott) is the best thing to stop the madness of war. what is being done by Israel towards Palestine, humanity remains above all even though we will see many people who will be unemployed.

This is what I have in mind,  the effect of the boycott itself, there are many hundreds of workers who will be affected by the boycott of the above products, on the one hand the issue of humanity and the independence of Palestine is also important,
It's a good idea to research the truth further before boycotting,

We don't know who actually planned that boycott, but even so, it might have an effect, but that doesn't mean that the boycott will bring down those products.

It seems that in the human body, it can only cause a wound, but it will still heal after a short period of time. You know what I mean. And as others have said, that's not a good way to be honest if we look closely. .
282  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Know how to use Fundamental and Technical Analysis on: November 17, 2023, 02:43:44 PM
So, my friend who just started trading asked me which is better Fundamental and Technical Analysis. So, this is the reply I gave which I also decided to share with others who don't know how this works hand in hand.

Fundamental Analysis and Technical Analysis are not inherently better than each other. Fundamental Analysis allows you to assess the potential direction of a coin's price, whether it's bearish or bullish. For instance, you can observe how Bitcoin's price has responded to positive news, which you can find on exchanges news insights, as well as popular news apps. Technical Analysis comes into play to further analyze price movements. Is just as easy as that.

Fundamental tells you what to do, while Technical tells you when to do it

They are both beneficial; it is up to you to determine which one is more beneficial in terms of profit. You can't merely discuss the basic and technical with such an easy explanation here unless you educate each step to actually use the two.

Because not all or even the majority of them grasp the application of technical and fundamental analysis. Because there are tools utilized there to execute those two tasks, and most individuals here do not yet know how to use and understand those tools in genuine trade.
283  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you overcome the hurdles and gain confidence to trade as a Newbie? on: November 17, 2023, 02:31:09 PM
Entering the world of Bitcoin trading can be both exciting and daunting, especially for newcomers. The volatile nature of cryptocurrency markets and the plethora of information available can sometimes overwhelm new traders.

Todays question i would share how we overcame these hurdles and gain confidence to trade as a Newbie?.

You know confidence is only good if you know something that you are studying or if you know that you are now learning to apply it to the reality of actual trading in cryptocurrency.

Haven't you noticed that among newbies who enter this field of crypto space? Isn't it because of the confidence that they feel that they will make a quick profit here in cryptocurrency that they gambled to invest in it even though they don't have enough knowledge of crypto trading yet? right? Meaning, because of that confidence, it can also put at risk the capital of our investors, who know nothing about crypto.
284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you like AI for trading crypto? on: November 16, 2023, 10:59:13 PM
To be honest, I researched and discovered that using AI trading correctly is quite difficult. In short, it's also quite complicated, from what I've seen and discovered.

Also, there are only a few who understand and know how to use AI trading; almost when I was studying it, it was too complicated, especially for beginners who don't know anything to try it. It's not easy to set up because it's just a mistake to do it; set-up loses immediately, that's what I found out. So it's no wonder why so few try to use it.
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I go with Bitcoin or Altcoins for the upcoming bull run cycle? on: November 16, 2023, 10:49:33 PM
Most people know that Bitcoin has been tested for long-term holdings, and if you want short-term trading, it is also possible as long as you have deep experience in daily trading.

Now, if you really want to experience large-scale income here in cryptocurrency, you just need to be ready to take a risk in new altcoin projects. It requires a wise choice and proper research so that the capital you will use here is not wasted.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make bitcoin "untouchable" for a while on: November 15, 2023, 05:24:33 AM
I have a little question.

For some altcoin we have staking, which makes them basically untouchable over a set period of time gaining some % as a reward for doing that.
Well I understand that bitcoin does not have any staking.

So what can I do, if I for example have some btc and I want to make it inaccessible for anybody (even me) for let's say 1 month or whatever period of time. Basically "staking" without the reward.

I read something about a time delayed transaction or whatever, so the recipient can use the btc after a set period of time. But I didn't really understand it and maybe that's still not what I am looking for.

If I look at your stories here on the topic you did, it is clear that you are really a Bitcoin believer. Now, regarding your question about staking, is it because you hold Bitcoin that you want while Bitcoin is only in your wallet that you still want to be able to accumulate it? this without buying Bitcoin out of your pocket, right?

And staking is the only way you can think of to make this happen, right again? Just always remember that Bitcoin teaches us to control the bitcoin we have because you are the only one who holds the seed phrase, password, and private key; no one else. Now, once you put it in staking, you are 100% in control of your bitcoin; it will no longer be 100% like if you stake it in Binance, which has a lock-in period that you buy between 1 month lock-up, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year, depending on you. Once you can buy, you have no control over your bitcoin, and you will only be in control when the grace period you chose has ended. You get what you want if you point it out.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a peer to peer method less popular than as an investment on: November 15, 2023, 04:55:57 AM

People today will consider BTC as an investment as its inherent use case of BTC. It doesn't really matter how a person will treat Bitcoin, they may look at it as a tool to gamble online or simply to send payments off the grid, whichever it is, its adoption of BTC.

If you mean peer-to-peer in a decentralized way where 2 people make transactions with no platform in between, humanity has lost trust in each other.  Grin That's what's happening. Face-to-face transactions would be possible but still risky.

Most communities here in this business industry really believe that Bitcoin is proven and tested for long-term investment. And I don't disagree with that, because it's true. Just because of the reality of what's happening to me now, I can't save at least 1 bitcoin until the bull run comes or before the halving.

So I am saving another alternative cryptocurrency that I think also has the potential to increase its value in the market, at least based on my studies and its usage in the market too.
288  Local / Pilipinas / Re: bakit dapat mong maintindihan at wag matakot sa dip on: November 14, 2023, 03:33:58 PM

289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk Reward Ratio Tool on: November 13, 2023, 12:19:18 PM
Hi is there any Risk Reward Ratio Tool that sends you a notification when there is a a good Risk Reward ratio for a certain altcoin?

Or the only way is checking every altcoin manually?

As far as I know, the no-risk rewards tool is perfect. As we know, the cryptocurrency market is very volatile, which means that even the best risk rewards do not guarantee a profitable trade in this field of business as well.

Now, in another way, we can manually check the risk-reward ratio for each altcoin you are interested in trading. But of course, this only happens when you use a charting platform like Trading View.
290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any companys offering insurance policys for crypto exchanges ? on: November 13, 2023, 11:39:27 AM
im looking to secure my crypto money on the exchange !  are there any reliable companys offering insurance policy for individuals against bankruptcy ore hack of the exchange ?

thanks

If you put money in an exchange, especially if it is a centralized platform, you should immediately be aware that the only thing guaranteed is fiat currency, excluding crypto assets, if you ever buy anything from them like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and so on.

Now, as for Dex, I don't know yet, but of course it seems to be the same as CEX in that they can only guarantee fiat. But also try to do some research before you actually take a step towards what you want to happen.
291  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat & Crypto - Effective Expert Advise on: November 13, 2023, 11:25:33 AM
Once you start learning about this cryptocurrency, continue and don't stop, because as you learn about it, you will discover even more the deep concept that it can contribute to and help every individual who enters this industry.

This is also an important thing to research first. This is also the beauty of the fact that it is not necessary to take out money immediately, and no one dictates to us that this is the amount of money we should take out; there is no such thing; instead, we ourselves decide what we want to do here in the crypto business.
292  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs cryptocurrencies vs business on: November 13, 2023, 11:08:08 AM
For real estate, it can be done at any time if you have more ability in this matter, because most types of business such as real estate always require more capital at the start. Meanwhile, for businesses in the cryptocurrency sector, everyone can run it with minimal capital so they don't have to wait to accumulate larger capital and for real businesses such as marketing certain products, I think it just needs to be adjusted to the environment around each of us. Because not all businesses are suitable for different environments.
Investing in real estate and business must have a high threshold of funds to start developing real estate or business, but cryptocurrency investment is a different thing that cannot be compared with any business because everyone can start investing with unlimited capital according to the funds allocated for investment crypto portfolio.

Dominant crypto investments tend to be preferred higher than real estate and business investments, they have generated huge profits from the impact of the current market bulls and other profits will come in the next bullish period, high profits cannot be achieved in a short time when compared between real estate and business and even investing in gold, but crypto investment is high risk if you don't have the knowledge to manage crypto investments, and we have the knowledge and experience to survive in crypto investments until now.

In real estate, a large threshold of funds is really needed, unlike in business and cryptocurrency, where you can invest even a small amount of capital. The only difference with traditional business is that you either hire someone to supervise it but hire them as an employee, or you or we supervise.

Because of cryptocurrency, you don't need an employee to make a profit because we ourselves will carry out the trading activity to make a profit, but we are obliged to learn crypto trading because we don't know anything about it.
293  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bullrun Strategy Discussion on: November 13, 2023, 10:52:58 AM

294  Local / Pilipinas / Re: “CrypTalk: University Caravan” on: November 12, 2023, 10:26:30 PM

295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys believe in other people luck and try to copy them? on: November 12, 2023, 10:06:18 PM
I think copying bets from other players is a bad idea

I am not talking about copying normal bets as you guys both that have replied so far here are pointing to copying normal multi/parlay tickets. This is not the point of this thread, the point of this is if you are like me who don't believe in your own luck to compile a multi ticket with 24 games and over 8000 odds for example yet you think since most other people try maybe one of them will be lucky and as such I copy a lot of such bets with huge odds while having 0.01-0.02 dollars as my base bet which is 200 IDR right now, thinking I am not playing sport betting but having a go to hit a "jackpot".

You mean, for example, that the number I bet in the lottery is also what you want to copy if, for example, you see that I often win in lottery games, right? Then how can you copy gambling if you are in an online casino?

What I know is that you can only copy casino gambling if it's physical gambling, because I experienced that when I was single and didn't have a wife or family, and when I saw someone who often wins and gambles, I did it where he bet, and I also bet there. I'm always on the tail end of his bets.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: Free Investment tips on: November 12, 2023, 09:56:37 PM
Many people try to become successful investors, of course it takes a lot of things as stated above, and for those who don't have big finances for investment, they can start small by investing in cryptocurrencies. And as investors, of course we must understand the risks of investing.

I can only add to what you said. As an investor, I hope you don't just rely on the hype because of the trend or what a friend said. Always learn to do your own research on an investment scheme opportunity because your capital is your own. will be used here.

Because, of course, this is a cryptocurrency that is very volatile and can fall anytime and increase its price value in the market. But the beauty here in the crypto space is that even with a small amount of capital, you can buy crypto assets depending on the results of the research you do.
297  Economy / Economics / Re: How Much Does Food Cost in Your Country? on: November 12, 2023, 09:46:04 PM
I want to know about the cost of living and average income in each country. Can I ask that here?

For comparison, may I ask how much a standard meal in your country costs for one meal? what is the standard food menu? What is the average monthly and annual income in your country? Please those who answer can use calculations in USD

Note: I don't need the tables issued by the government because they are usually different from the reality on the ground
I see you are from Indonesia, I also come from Indonesia I live in the capital with my monthly income of $230.
My living costs while living in the capital are quite expensive compared to living in the village.
1. Internet costs = $4/month
2. Transport (top up money) = $20/month (train + bus)
3. Food = $1/day (cook yourself) or $30/month
4. Boarding house = $50/month (outdoor bathroom)
5. Unexpected costs = $60/month

A month is never more than $180. There was even a record under $150 when I wanted to save money.

The only thing is that you spend less every month. While I'm on the internet, it's already 32 dollars; for food, it's around 65 dollars; since I have a motorcycle, I spend about 25 dollars on gasoline; and for unexpected costs, it's around 60 dollars; and house rent is 60 dollars per month.

My other billings, such as electricity and water bills, and liability assets that I pay, such as real estate and wages to housekeepers per buwab, are not included.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed or risk on: November 10, 2023, 01:24:08 PM
There are loads of people gambling with various motives, and most people are gutted when it comes to gambling, its either the price or nothing.

They'd prefer to loose out on a huge sum as they've calculated the expected outcome and have decided to sacrifice whatever it is that they have committed to betting on that particualr game. I will call it risk rather than greed.
That is the essence of gambling to make people assume they are winning against the table/banker but the reality lies that no they cannot, gambling tables are created to bring the owner as Money making machine , this flows money for every gambling owner and taking every cents in gamblers , so they are not calculating their possible winning over capital instead they are already addicted into it.
and they cannot prevent themselves to gamble and losing everything for the sake of playing.because even how much they won? still they will gamble and lose them all.

There are also other gamblers, because when they notice that they are lucky in gambling and win consecutively, they feel that they can beat the bankroll. It's like this: you were created by a creator, and then you, who created you, think you can lose the creator of you.

You know what it means to point out; this is something that other gamblers don't understand. That's why the house edge often wins because they control the game, and they can also choose who they want to win as a gambler. That's why there are often many gamblers who win what should be a large amount and then lose in the end. They should already know that.
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most you have ever lost in one session? on: November 10, 2023, 01:12:30 PM
What is the most money you have ever lost in one session? could be land base casino or crypto casino.

mine was $200,000 on Stake.com 2 weeks ago

This is too much money, to be honest. I can buy a nice house and land for that amount. And I can't afford to waste such a large amount just on gambling. Maybe the person who did that is a rich person, so it can be considered just a coin to him.

But for a person like me, it would be crazy to throw away such an amount. Terrible! He had the courage to bet on that; maybe he thought that when he hit, it would be too big to come back to him, but that's why the luck he was hoping for didn't agree with him.
300  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: minimum amounts to buy and sell a coin when trading on: November 10, 2023, 12:59:29 PM
Hi what are the minimum amounts to buy and sell a coin in the safetrade exchange and in other exchanges? I wanted to start using the safetrade exchange but there is no info on minimum amounts...just wanted to deposit the minimum amount to start testing the exchange
You should know more about safetrade exchanges, better if it was clear to you than risky even with the minimum amount lost because it was not really acceptable in a sense that can avoid it. I don't try this exchange nor do I have a plan to.

Each exchange may have the same or different minimum deposit set and it can be found in their rules.
Well, that is a good idea to choose the minimum first but of course, you can't expect big returns from that amount as well. You've heard enough advice and it was your final assessment is needed.

I don't know why he wants to buy Safetrade. Whatever his reason is, he would have chosen other altcoins; he can choose many that are better than Safetrade, to be honest.

In fact, Shiba Inu, Doge, and Pepe are even better at Safetrade, to be honest. I'm just doing a reality check because these meme coins I mentioned are listed on well-known exchanges. Then there are other cryptos that are better, like Optim, ARb, and other cryptocurrencies.
