Just kidding. Smiley
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A world of opportunities for freelancers on: February 17, 2019, 03:41:33 PM
I'll remain optimistic but rarely any freelancers outside of this forum accept bitcoin.  It is a hassle for them to convert over to fiat and they will also lose an additional percentage from trading on an exchange.
283  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto Marketing on: February 17, 2019, 03:35:46 PM
I disagree. Crypto is global and encompasses no boundaries so why he should target just one demographics?

Right mate . crypto is a currency and a currency means for everyone . all gender of all ages can use it no matter what is thier status in life or no matter what is their races  all of them can get a piece of it .

Crypto marketing isnt also hard .  you can get your deisred results if you have a good amount of capital on your hands that you can use for advertising . you can advertise both online and offline for a much better and precise results .

It does make sense to target people with deep pockets.  It won't do your business any good if you are going after people that are dead broke.  Also women aren't as interested in crypto as men are, that is just the plain truth of the matter.
284  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto Marketing on: February 14, 2019, 03:19:20 PM
Your goal should be to target people that aren't already in the crypto space.  You should go after the elderly and soccer moms that see it as a path to financial freedom.  You don't want to be advertising to young kids and teenagers that are usually broke.
285  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the coming halving our last hope? on: February 14, 2019, 03:14:29 PM
The price will definitely be pushed up as supply dwindles because of the reduction of the block reward.  As long as some early whales don't decide to dump heavy bags on the market we should steadily be rising throughout the year.
286  Economy / Economics / Re: Expert Opinion about Cryptomarket 2019 on: February 14, 2019, 03:07:44 PM
Even though Bitcoin was introduced 10 years ago and research was in the process three decades ago, I would say that it is still in the infancy stage and we have a huge growth for improvement. There is a long way to go and not only the financial sector but also other sectors would adopt blockchain in order to optimise their work ecosystem. As far as the short term is concerned, I am expecting to recovery from the correction phase.

Bitcoin is still only used by a small percentage of people and very few stores even accept cryptocurrency.  This is good new though, imagine what the price will be like when we have full scale adoption across the world.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO Dying ? on: February 14, 2019, 03:04:55 PM
I am someone who does a lot of research before delving into any bounties and this means that I do lots of researches, ICOs are not dead at all, they are very low-key ICOs that are hitting their hardcase s very fast even in recent market conditions, you just have to look closely.

People are just too lazy to find the projects worth investing in.  Hard work pays off handsomely and if you want to get those 100x gains you need to put in the effort.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The used of Bitcoin in Africa on: February 14, 2019, 02:58:36 PM
Nigeria is always fast in adopting and catching up with anything that can increase the standard of living. cryptocurrency has been source of livelihood. crypto has actually put the smile on the face of nigerian than the government. fast adoption has always been because of high internet presence. Nigeria is among top 10 internet users in the world. However, buying goods from local store using bitcoin is one of the challenge. it is very easy to see merchant that accept bitcoin as payment for services but not goods.

They are mostly using bitcoin for scamming purposes, they love that no one can seize their scammed money.  That is one of those countries where people will slit your throat for a few dollars.  I recently saw a video of nigerians burning two men over potatoes.
289  Economy / Economics / Re: JPMorgan Launches JPM Coin, World’s First Bank to Launch Cryptocurrency on: February 14, 2019, 02:56:31 PM
No serious crypto investors will be insterested in this coin.  Just another centralized scam that isn't even a real cryptocurrency.  They will probably give up when they realize no one is interested in their shitcoin.
290  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 12, 2019, 01:12:59 PM
I am afraid dear hodlers, that soon we will have a big problem! No, I am not talking about a crash! I am talking about going above 10K. Last time some of us (like me) didn't sell anything, but what will you do, when we hit 15K-ish zone again? I am just curious (this may be kinda of a new poll), if you have any strategy? Hodl all, sell 1/3, sell 1/2, sell all, or other. I am pumping up myself to hodl everything until I reach the right amount for a nice beach villa, new car and savings equivalent to my salary before my retirement after 20 years.  Hopefully the property will be paid with BTC, so I may not sell BTC at all  Grin So far, I have only one strategy for BTC:

The plan is to hodl till 100k.

But seriously, its a terrible feeling to sell and the rocket ship keeps going up.  I won't sell unless this becomes life changing money somehow, my only short term goal is to have enough to buy a house.

292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Joe Rogan and twitter CEO Jack Dorsey in trouble for bitcoin fraud? on: February 08, 2019, 02:31:36 PM
I never trusted Joe Rogan, he is a shill and will do anything for money.  I find his podcasts to be boring and overall I don't find him to be an intelligent or likeable guy.  He is only famous because of who he knows in the showbiz industry, not because of actual talent.
293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scam?? on: January 29, 2019, 01:40:04 AM
These scammers could make much more if they just put all that effort into doing something productive for society.  The internet has made it extremely easy for anyone to scam without any major risk as well.  People are still falling for these cons or obviously they would stop trying.  The worst one is the porn ransom e-mail they have been sending around, demanding bitcoin under the threat of releasing a webcam of yourself.
294  Other / Ivory Tower / Richest Man Jeff Bezos Divorce on: January 14, 2019, 04:07:55 PM
The Richest man known to the Public is getting a divorce from his wife of 26 years.  The Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos is worth over $100 billion.  This whole thing is probably just a ruse so they can sell off stock without causing a panic.

Quoted from Reddit:

"Reminds me of the enron exec:
Lou Pai divorced his wife for a stripper so the court forced him to sell his Enron shares. no market changes since nobody suspected anything was wrong other than the dude messed up his marriage. he couldn't be prosecuted for insider trading because the court forced the sale of his shares. If you wanted to liquidate a good portion of your assets without affecting the market, this is a good way to do it. We are talking about a master strategist here, married to a high IQ woman. This would not be outside of his character.
however, assets for cash doesn’t affect net worth at all. It’s impossible to consume that much money. No amount of fancy dinners or private jet fuel or deep-sea expeditions or cocaine is going to blow through a sum like that.
there have been interviews with bezos in the past few years where he talks about how he sees what he’s doing with blue origin being much more important than amazon, so if his wife feels the same way about blue origin then it could be a way to get it the funding it needs.
Even if the stocks weren’t liquidated. It would mean that Bezos and his ex-wife would be the two most powerful voting members on Amazon’s board. Which is one more vote that didn’t exist previously."
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any chance that XRP can defeat BTC? on: January 14, 2019, 04:41:22 AM
It is highly unlikely that ripple will overtake bitcoin for the #1 spot.  Bitcoin has a much larger daily trading volume and a much larger userbase.  People that don't know anything about crypto have heard of bitcoin and virtually none even know what ripple is.  It is all about brand awareness and adoption and bitcoin is the clear winner in that realm.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Bitcoin's business plan and responsible people behind it ? on: December 25, 2018, 03:36:50 PM
Does bitcoin have a business plan ? and who is responsible to make it work because for any project there should be a clear plan to accomplish its mission and vision at the end and there are responsible people to make sure things work according to the plan on each stage  until bitcoin reaches its final goal ?

The plan for most people is to gain worldwide adoption .  There is no one in charge of bitcoin and it is a community effort.  Sure there are some notable figures that have more influence like Roger Ver or CSW but no one has ultimate power over bitcoin.  If everything goes to plan bitcoin should always be secure due to the high hashrate and because of game theory.
297  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Does Real Wealth Get Lost When Bitcoin "Crashes"? on: December 16, 2018, 06:18:45 PM
Real wealth is having time to enjoy the pleasures in life, and in being able to preserve your good health. You don't own property, property owns you. I'm much happier, and having more fun, since I have stopped the pursuit of economic gain and excessive acquisitions.

Indeed, you can't take money with you when you die.  You never own property anyways, you are just the temporary caretaker until your death,.

... who are you that you go trawling through everybody else's business, IRS??

Money is a zero sum game system of control to replace the law of the jungle, so technically it's everyone's business since you have the option to choose whether it's a legit or remotely fair or beneficial system, or a rigged system that does not benefit you, then you can fall back to the law of the jungle and simply take from those who attempt to enslave you.
Great post

I welcome a collapse where money means nothing and all the paper property ownership means nothing.  Money is a way for weak and old people to stay in charge.  Can't believe so many people are brainwashed into thinking it has actual value.
300  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: Ethereum ico price on: December 09, 2018, 11:43:12 PM
What I'm saying is bitcoin would have more support from normal investors if the founder was actually known.

Would you trust Amazon if Jeff Bezos sold all his stock? You would lose faith in the company.
