I agree with your opinion, it is not a good idea just to participate in Bounties and Airdrops to make profit. The amount of such activities is really low today, so trading might become a good option to earn some crypto.

Personally, I have never used IDAX Exchange. It is strange to use small cryptocurrency Exchanges instead of trading on Binance or Coinbase. If to talk about this occasion with IDAX, it looks like exit scam.

9$ is a really small amount for trading, I think the best option for you to earn more money is to participate in Airdrops and Bounty campaings. Meanwhile, you could start learning info about trading if you are not good at it.

I don't think investing in POS cryptocurrencies is the best way to make money on crypto. The price of such coins is constantly under pressure as people are selling their stake rewards. As for me, I prefer to participate in Bounty campaigns to earn crypto.

In my opinion, it is bad idea to sell altcoins which you are being holding for a long time already. They likely cost 10 or more times less since the time you bought it, so if the project is good enough, it will grow during the next altcoin season.

I think the main reason of a low amount of good projects is lack of real use cases. There are hundreds of projects in different industries, but only few of them are being used, so the new projects have to be much better than existing ones.

You are right there are much less IEOs on top cryptocurrency Exchanges than half a year ago. It seems like IEO format of fundraising is dying and the new one has to replace it.

I think good traders have more profit than investors in the cryptocurrency market. It is really difficult to get profit for investors on the downtrend while traders can earn on the price decrease.

Ethereum price has dropped significantly since January 2018 and it is still top 2 cryptocurrency, so I consider ETH a good investment.

In my opinion, there will be still many altcoins in the next 2-3 years, but after a while, let's say 10+ years, only the best altcoins with real use cases will stay along with Bitcoin.

Actually, the most people are not really interested in cryptocurrency itself, they are interested in getting profit. In 2017 we saw a great altcoin season when all the coins were growing which attracted many people to the cryptocurrency market. As we are in the downtrend at the moment, people are trying to earn money in other ways.

Of course it is great to participate in a Bounty campaign of the project listed on top Exchange. Unfortunately, such projects are holding Bounties really seldom and they usually allocating a small pool for Bounty hunters.

Actually, it depends on the way of hack - if you held crypto on the cryptocurrency Exchange which was hacked, it is not your fault unless it was unpopular Exchange. But if entered your private key on a phishing website, it was your responsibility to keep your key in a safe place.
