282  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How do I identify genuine mining opportunities? on: December 10, 2017, 08:01:00 PM
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn’t, no investment can consistently generate high returns with no risk or guaranteed returns. Remember all Ponzi schemes always begin with paying out or else they will not attract new recruits. If the primary way of earning is through referrals or commissions, your alarm bells should be ringing since it means that the business model on its own is unprofitable.

284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to spot a gambler addicted? on: December 10, 2017, 02:05:16 PM
Gambler becoming preoccupied or obsessed with obtaining money to gamble or thoughts of gambling. The great obsession can be on coming up with ways to borrow money, taking out loans, pawning items for cash, or planning their next bet.
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any way to destroy the bitcoin? on: December 10, 2017, 01:59:22 PM
Definitely not easy, but also not entirely impossible, there are certain things that could stop Bitcoin. Bitcoin miners are people who solve crypto hash functions to get rewarded with Bitcoin. These people have special computer programs that solve difficult encrypted messages. If these miners could be shut down, no more Bitcoins will be generated, which could bring down the system.
286  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin now slowly drop should i sell? on: December 10, 2017, 01:55:34 PM

287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin wallet be hacked by hackers? on: December 10, 2017, 01:48:47 PM
The Bitcoin actually can't be hacked, it's too hard and difficult; what hackers do is put a trojan in some junk mail which the user open, steal all the info about the wallet (address, password, etc) and transfer to 2 or 4 accounts in order to lose tracks.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be hacked? on: December 07, 2017, 11:32:59 PM
Bitcoin is theoretically vulnerable to hacking. Because its code is open source, programmers continuously review it for flaws. This means the underlying protocol is pretty robust.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: December 07, 2017, 11:30:05 PM
I'm holding my bitcoins for there is a big possibility to soar up in the near future. And maybe do trading too so it wouldn't just sit there and wait for when it'll increase its value, there are a lot of opportunities when trading.
290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport Do u Like to Bet? on: December 07, 2017, 11:13:40 PM
There is no sport better for betting favourites you have to look around and see if the favourite represent value, if there is a 1.50 tennis player and a 1.50 soccer team you have to see if 1 is better value than the other and should the odds be lower.
291  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: December 07, 2017, 01:40:04 AM
Many investors buy gold to hedge against the decline of a currency. As a currency falls, it creates higher prices in imports and inflation. Gold prices spike when the stock market crashes.  Others continue to buy gold because they see it as a finite valuable substance with many industrial uses. Last but not least, gold is held by many governments and wealthy individuals.
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do we need to gamble? on: December 06, 2017, 07:39:19 PM
Many people find themselves unable to explain why they continue to gamble despite the problems it causes in their day-to-day lives. The most obvious answer is for the money. The pleasure of winning instant money.
293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: December 06, 2017, 02:00:49 PM
I believed no. The first reason that Bitcoin has a huge advantage over newer altcoins is the network effect. When new merchants decide to accept cryptocurrencies as payment, they are usually just talking about Bitcoin. Bitcoin already has the largest community, and bitcoiners want to get all of their friends and the rest of the world to join that particular community. There are many more bitcoiners out there telling people about Bitcoin than other cryptos.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: December 06, 2017, 01:54:51 PM
Bitcoins aren't a stable super-liquid currency. They are a volatile investment that will go up and/or down a lot over time. In general, investing all of your savings into a volatile security is a mistake. Bitcoin can either diminish in value in an instant or be confiscated.
295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: December 06, 2017, 12:41:11 PM
Trading and gambling are similar in that they both attempt to create a capital gain, over a relatively short period of time.
296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: December 06, 2017, 12:33:53 PM
People love making money and love winning it even more, so they go overboard. Because by gambling, there is always the opportunity to make money instantly And depending on how much you are willing to gamble with, you can make lots of money instantly.
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best way to quit gambling for good on: December 06, 2017, 12:24:35 PM
Find something to replace your gambling. Exercise, go shopping, go out with friends. You can also watch movie, listen to some music, or do some reading — do whatever it takes to keep yourself busy. You could pick up a new, exciting hobby, like bike racing or climbing.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: December 06, 2017, 12:20:18 PM
Many people view gambling as harmless fun, as long as it is practiced legally. Some forms of legalized gambling, such as government-sponsored lotteries, generate revenue for programs that benefit the public.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: December 06, 2017, 03:49:46 AM
I think many countries do not like cryptos because of the perception that it makes dodging taxes easier. Aside from that governments are mainly concerned about things like ICOs  and cryptos being used for evading capital controls, facilitating money laundering and other crimes.
300  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: December 06, 2017, 03:42:18 AM
Showing videos is the easiest way to teach your close ones about Bitcoin. Videos are usually more effective than a million spoken words as people perceive visual information easier. Choose the video to your liking and present it to your newbie, this may spark their interest.
