282  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: December 30, 2017, 05:01:09 PM
Paypal is not a scam.  Make sure that the name in paypal account is exactly the same with your verified bank account. If an account is subject to fraud or unauthorized use, PayPal puts the "Limited Access" designation on the account or there is an alleged violations of the Electronic Funds Transfer Act.  I have used my paypal account for quite awhile now and the transfer of my earnings and funds are always accounted for.  If there is truly an issue regarding the freezing of your account, try to contact them and they will solve the problem.  By the way, Paypal is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ebay since 2002.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: December 29, 2017, 08:10:44 PM
ICO will not die in 2018 but will continue to flourish.  ICO's is a healthy competition for all alternative coins.  Just like IPO (Initial Public Offering) in the stock exchange, ICO's has a strong growth potential that must be regulated to address the problems that are encountered.  As quoted below:

Bitcoin friendly Philippines according to Bloomberg, the central bank chief directly pointed to the “strong growth potential in the space” acknowledged by local companies looking to ‘facilitate ICOs’ as trading platforms to ‘act as a central counterparty for trade in the related tokens’. The central bank is in discussions with Philippines’ Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to plan strategies to oversee ICOs, Espenilla further revealed. SEC commissioner Ephyro Amatong confirmed the authority is “concerned about possible unlicensed investment-taking activity or otherwise selling of investment contracts in the guide of so-called cryptocurrencies via a so-caleld initial coin offering.”
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where do you find your news? on: December 29, 2017, 07:19:04 PM
There are many online information in the internet web.  Twitter and Facebook are good sources of information by following those coins in their account.  Bitcointalk forum is also another good source of information. Also you can get news through token exchanges by registering your email.  Sometimes it is also advisable to have online and real friends who are active in the world of cryptocurrencies.  My son's friends would text me first hand information on new airdrops, tokens available in the market and when to sell or buy tokens or cryptocoins.  My friends online would also notify me through my twitter and facebook account.  Linking my social media account with my email gives me early notifications  of whathrough my mobile phone and keep me updated of what is happening in the crypt world
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: start Earning Altcoins FOR FREE! on: December 28, 2017, 05:07:05 PM
There are so many ways to earn altcoins for FREE.  It is not only on mining and faucets which will take a little longer or PTC sites but rather joining airdrops and campaigns.  If your lucky enough, you might earn free coins from airdrops that may sell at a good price.  Patience and dedication is also what you need in campaign to be paid with a token without actual monetary investment but just time.  Once you have your free token, then start to learn trading to convert the free token to ETH.  However, the number one problem with trading is having a gwei or eth in your wallet first.  Try to dedicate a small amount of your time on mining sites that gives free ETH.  It may take a longer time but at least you do not need to take money from your pocket to have ETH in order to have gas or gwei.

288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you look for when buying new coins? on: December 26, 2017, 03:41:30 PM
In buying coin, I make sure that it is listed in a reliable exchange.  Second, is to know the people behind the new coin and the purpose of the project. Thirdly, the roadmap should be clearly define and well stated.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethero.net LEGIT OR SCAM? on: December 26, 2017, 03:35:14 PM
Ethero.net do provide free token and it is up to you if you want to upgrade. Personally, I am just enjoying the click ads and the mining and has not reach the threshold that I can withdraw my ETH. Some say that they are paid.  Whether scam or not, for me it is a way of relaxation aside from the possibility of earning ETH.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it fraud ? on: December 26, 2017, 03:24:23 PM
It is always a reminder that when we fill up airdrop forms we should never give our private key.  Your private key is always your personal key to unlock your wallet.  With your private key, they could transfer and sell whatever is in your wallet.  Trade exchange always ask for your private key and address. It is best to have a metamask or a ledger to make your coin wallet secure or enable f2 authentication.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Twitter campaign : Do i need to be at least Jr member ? on: December 26, 2017, 04:03:23 AM
Social media usually requires the real number of followers you have and is not base on your rank in the forum.  Use an audit app to check the number of real followers to qualify.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA or XRP? on: December 26, 2017, 03:45:05 AM
I rather choose IOTA than XRP although both has the same potential to be a good investment. IOTA transaction fees is reasonable enough and provides privacy.  IOTA is decentralized rather than centralized.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I sell my airdropped tokens quickly or hold on to them? on: December 24, 2017, 04:52:21 PM
Holding or selling your airdrop tokens depends on how you trust the project where they came from. It is a free token anyway, holding on to them is a not a risk whether it will burn but rather an opportunity that it might be a good investment turn to gold in the future.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EtherDelta! It's not safe anymore !? on: December 24, 2017, 04:40:03 PM
Etherdelta is honest enough to inform us that the site is not to be used for the moment.  I still trust Etherdelta despite the incident.  The people behind Etherdelta are doing the best they could to check if it is truly hack by temporarily halting the system.  For me, this incident will make Etherdelta more secure in the future.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: December 22, 2017, 12:37:59 PM
We always want our privacy and DeepOnion makes anonymous untraceable cryptocurrency transactions that guarantees anonymity. For me it becomes a scam if it destroys the confidence I have and made an attempt to defraud me.  Everyone has it own opinion and proof to defend but this makes us realized that this is MARKETING geniouses.  I will just wait and see what is the end game of this.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE on: December 22, 2017, 12:11:20 PM
XRP is a good choice to invest.  Market capitalization wise, XRP has been consistently present in the top 5 cryptocurrencies for the past several years. It is very popular in the network and many banks across the world use it as the basis for their own settlement infrastructure. Ripple’s XRP have outperformed bitcoin as they focus on being "faster and cheaper."
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GAS value | For what?? on: December 22, 2017, 11:57:44 AM
Gas value is the associated cost required to perform a transactions, from simple transfers to ICO smart contracts. Thus, simple transactions like transfers will require less gas to perform than more intense smart contracts.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can i trust EtherDelta with my Private Keys ? on: December 22, 2017, 01:40:11 AM
Yes it is safe, my friend has been trading with etherdelta for quite awhile now and have not lost any tokens yet.  I have tried to create an account too by using my private key and so far myetherwallet is still safe.  Anyway, trading is always a risk.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I late to the party? on: December 21, 2017, 03:09:34 PM
No your not late. It  is better to be late than never to be there at all.  Time moves and there is always a constant change and endless possibilities of earning from new altcoin releases that could give a high yield.  The party is not over yet.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Vs. Ethereum on: December 20, 2017, 05:42:16 AM
There is no stiff competition between waves and ethereum because they just compliment each other.  Waves can give us faster processing of transactions and make distribution of new tokens easier.  Ethereum on the other hand provides expertise on security and its reliability has been tested by the best ethereum developers.
