281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Pyramid Marketing on: November 30, 2017, 02:04:00 PM
I have seem that so many persons want to enjoy the benefits of the crypto revolution but through the back door. The best way is to invest in buying cryptocurrency hold and trade when the value goes up. Some people want quick investment and that is where the ponzi schemers are catching in. All ponzi benefit the top leaving the bottom members dry.
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to Crypto today??? All coins lost 5-20 percent value? on: November 30, 2017, 01:57:26 PM
The volatility of cryptos is something to wary about. It is the nature of currency trading. It must go up and down. Something could just spike up the prices again. For today. I have not heard of what may have caused the price drop.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Coinfer - Mining diversity for everyone! on: November 30, 2017, 01:51:10 PM
Will you introduce bounty campaign? If not how else do you want to achieve the ICO cap be it soft or hard cap? I will keep on the look out to the bounty if any.
284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: November 30, 2017, 09:09:41 AM
It depends. If it is a new coin, I will set about 10% profit to sell. If that is an old coin, I will sell after it rises.
If you are low on money and need it in an emergency than you should study the situation and take steps according to it. You shouldn't sell all your bitcoins at once, yes it will give you profit but the profit will not be very big. You should keep some of them with yourself if selling bitcoin is not giving you profit. Also if it is giving you fine profit, then sell them and when you are stable than invest more in bitcoin.
Exactly. There is a time you just need money for some emergencies. You will forego all the indices and just sell. At such time, though, you will look at the %.

286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin next fork and new shitcoin born? on: November 28, 2017, 11:58:13 AM
The products of Bitcoin fork are not doing badly. After the fork, BCH was $300. It is now over $1,000. There seem to be a craze around anything Bitcoin. I am foreseeing this also doing well. But altcoins are also not out of the craze of the cryptocurrency. I am seeing an explosion of altcoins in 2018. The significant rise in value of ETH is an early indicator for me. I will keep an eye on both Bitcoin fork products and altcoins.

The fact that this project has listed exchanges from the onset is a plus. It will not be a ding dung affair after ICO about exchange. Best wishes for this project.
289  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: stolen key myetherwallet on: November 28, 2017, 10:17:04 AM
This is one mistake too costly. The fact that it cannot be blocked is an added pain. Carefulness seem to be the only way out of this problem. I feel your pain dear. The Dev. team at MyEtherWallet should review their program to block an account that has a complain of loss of key.
290  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: storing cryptocurrency on: November 28, 2017, 09:24:45 AM
hello.
It is not advisable to store your crypto on exchange  wallet like coinbase. Most safe way to store your crypto is hardware wallets like trezor, ledger nano, but if you don't want to buy one, search for wallet where private key is controlled by you . (e.g. for ethereum you can use metamask, myetherwallet...)
Also check this threat about wallets https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1631151.0
Recently, there has been cries of hark into MEW accounts. Is it still safe? Some say it is not possible to hark MEW, that it is carelessness. How true is it? Because I am concerned about storing crypto.
291  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bumping ann threads, ethical or not? ban or not? on: November 28, 2017, 09:19:06 AM
As the forum becomes more and more impressive and attractive for investment, we will continue to see sharp practices like these. The forum has to stand up to stop this by dedicating moderators to focus on fishing out such persons. A warning then ban if caught again will be very appropriate.

293  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Privatix not paying bounties on: November 27, 2017, 12:12:00 PM
What will be the responsibility of the campaign manager should a campaign suffer such? I think as a manager, the campaign manager should be able to assure the participant of their reward or refund. The case in which the manager will  ignore post and questions is not good. Had the campaign been successful, he would have received payment. Information communication is vital to mitigate the persons affected in such circumstance.

294  Economy / Reputation / Re: Why isn't this person tagged? Multiple scam accusations on: November 25, 2017, 10:19:40 PM
Jesus Christ does this make anyone elses eyes hurt? 1 big run on sentence everytime he posts. I haven't read everything so far but I will be keeping an eye on this. 1 thing is clear right now, user believes in leaving retaliatory feedbacks and probabilities.
I share similar sentiments too.
That's not some place which you can use to rise your activity or post count.
Either say something in topic or your post will be reported as off-topic/
I am sorry if this is a wrong place for newbies like me. However, as a member of the forum and reading from the discussion I came to see that you rather will attack anyone that say something on the topic. Which you just did to me with even a threat. I don't think that is the way to explain out an allegation of reputation that the topic is about.
295  Economy / Reputation / Re: How to get trust rating up? on: November 25, 2017, 09:38:09 PM
Hello! I am new and have an answer! Friend is important to be an active reader and write more often. Comment, report and rating will grow the only thing that will not be fast. Do it every day.

Trust is usually not influenced by number of posts. The quickest way would be to just buy stuff from people in the services and goods section and hope that they will give you positive reviews.
You must be stating a fact. You have several positive trusts.

298  Other / Off-topic / Re: How did you start in CRYPTO WOLRD on: November 25, 2017, 11:38:35 AM
Myself, I started everything with faucets. But it was few years ago, it was much easier to get decent amounts of btc from faucets. I recommend to stay away from gambling - it's not way of earning money. ICO's are also risky, I don't recommend it fir newbies. Mining requires big investments and it gives not very big returns. If you don't have cheap electricity and few thousands bucks - better not to start. And actually, you won't get btc from mining, you would mine altcoins.
Campaigns are great way to earn btc (or tokens), but you need higher forum rank. Some airdrops also can be worth attention. Trading is a great way of earning btc. But if you are planning to trade seriously, you need lot of knowledge. For start, try to read basics of trading, start to analyze crypto market. Investing money on altcoins can really bring you nice profit.
Please do you have some materials for reading on trading? Or links. Thanks

Learn how to securely store your coins first. Then familiarize yourself with some of the more respectable exchanges. Learn how to read order books and how limit / market orders work. Then buy yourself an amount of coins that you feel comfortable with, even if BTC loses all its value. Withdraw it to your wallet, forget about BTC for 4-5 years and profit once the next halving occurs.

Don't bother with faucets, they are a waste of time. Trade alts only if you feel like gambling. And read this:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1629118.0

That's a great comment. Could you please recommend some good resource about how to securely store digital coins? Thanks.

1) Don't leave your coins on an exchange.

2) Don't leave your coins on an exchange.

3) Most secure and convenient way: Buy a hardware wallet such as the Ledger or Trezor -- preferably directly from the producer's website.

4) Equally secure but slightly less convenient: Learn how to create a paper wallet or how to setup up cold storage using an air gapped device

5) Only as secure as your online device, so basically not at all: Desktop wallets such as Bitcoin Core, Electrum. Mobile wallets such as Mycelium. Web wallets such as Blockchain.info. I would not, under any circumstance, hold more than spare change on a device that is connected to the internet.

6) Don't leave your coins on an exchange.
How secure is MyEtherWallet compared to the ones you listed above?

For getting some coins faucet is a possibility (you can try freebitco.in: around 600 claims/h for 30 000k sat) but you can't get rich with this, you will also get only a really really small amount (around 50sat) so it is better and more profitable to collect recyclable rubbish and sell that... Wink. Starting Trading with no know how and not enough money is really risky... you will loss more than you gain. Roll Eyes The easiest way to start into crypto is to buy some and hold theme till you think it's enough profit, But Attention don't invest in Shitcoins. Use stable coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin or Waves...

1Sat is 0.00000001 BTC  Undecided

Please which coin is under the category of shitcoin, or how can one identify shitcoin? Thanks.
