290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest Cold storage (Quick) on: October 07, 2014, 12:20:09 PM
I've recently moved my cold storage to a hot wallet for a purchase which never went through, I'm looking to make a new cold storage but a quick and easy efficent way. Which is 100% safe from online attacks. I have a spare computer which has been on the internet before and used for a short while but I'm going to be wiping it clean soon.

I don't want to use the Bitcoin core client as it takes me around 3 days to sync and I need to get my coins into cold storage as soon as possible. Whats the quickest, easiest and safest way to do this?

Trezor is out of the question as I see my Bitcoin worth too much to spend 0.2 on it, if I could pay in cash for it I would.

1. Go to blockchain.info.

2. Create a wallet.

3. Download the paper wallet in PDF format and print out. Write the password on it.

4. Send your coins to this address.

5. Remove all digital copies of your blockchain.info password and the PDF.

Thanks, but this requires me to be online to be able to do it right? So wouldn't this be a flaw and if my computer is infected or is connected to the internet it could be a vunerbility? I have considered doing this but because of this flaw Its stopped me from doing it. I will be doing a clean reinstall of Linux Ubuntu to do this so it should remove all viruses but I'm still concerned about connected to the internet and doing this.

Seriously i dont like scams, and will certainly leave the campaign once im getting paid for this round but NO ONE tells me what to do and threaten me like this.

So: You don't like scams, but you have you problem continuing to promote a scam for payment. Roll Eyes

That's funny
Not like his feedback would hurt you anyway
Just because a feedback isn't in defaulttrust doesn't mean it's worthless Smiley

-----------

Lol so much irony.

I halted my sig ad campaign when Inputs were hacked.

If you have a problem with scammers please feel free to advice the mods about it and i am sure they will do something (or could it be not after all?!).
But anyway, dont go around all the forum on your little inquisition, threatening people with trust ratings.
Thats just not how you are going to get anything (from me at least).

mods dont do anything about scammers.
