One thing i've learned over the past few months here is most people on this forum don't know what they're talking about, and reading this fud does more harm than good.  There is still opportunity to make money and have fun trading btc today.

One thing I've learned over the past few years here is that some will continue to discard everything as FUD, even when it's looking them straight in the eyes.

Well, I understand we all want to make our bitcoin positions better but it's still sad to see what we've became.. we supposedly want bitcoin to be mass adapted yet we are happy it's crashing and people losing belief in it..

Greed is some bad bastard, it could break our heads at some time  Undecided

It's just the bubble deflating. I hope it doesn't have much farther to go but any damage was done months ago. Now we need to get to where we should be and let the other parts of the economy build what they need to.

Yup, that's like booms induced by artificially low interest rates.
The problem isn't the crash coming after, it's the boom.

For those wondering where the common bitcoiner stands:

hard to say. Someone earlier said with all the good news why is bitcoin still crashing? Maybe the early adopters are dumping all their coins again. Speculators are panic selling in response?

Employee Costs = 150,000 * 20
Legal = 200,000
ISP / DDOS servivers = 120,000
Rent / Security = 120,000
Servers & Utilities = 100,000
= ~ 3.5 MM per year

150k for their "stellar" employees? Wow... do you own a business? I want to work for you!

I think it's time for us to honour someone ...

Go Proudhon, go ... ride that bear

The funny thing would be if he decided to stop being a bear and got hit hard by the recent downtrend.
288  Economy / Speculation / Re: the price is falling, the price is falling!!! on: July 01, 2013, 06:20:38 PM
Because that would make Bitcoin looks even more like a religion.
289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 01, 2013, 06:18:45 PM
Unbelievably, there are still a few morons doing 100+ buys right now.

How stupid can you be?

Cant wait to see them get burnt.
They cannot fathom the nature and severity of The Great Dollar Extraction. In the same way as gold bulls, bitbulls are in complete denial of what is happening. Cheesy

Denial stage.
Long way to go.  Tongue

As everyone can see, the buyers are rushing to get those cheap coins.

Or not.  Grin

How do you calculate your profits/losses?

Seems to me you should be in the red for the last few days.
293  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 01, 2013, 05:58:01 PM

Stop quoting him.
294  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 01, 2013, 04:41:25 PM

soon... thinkin about hitting that button...

Do it!

Bitcoins are in a fire sale!

Think about it; not so long ago they were $266!
Such a good deal!

 Cheesy
295  Economy / Speculation / Re: If price goes below 90, there'll be a big sell-off? on: July 01, 2013, 04:39:15 PM
I don't think you know what panic selling really is. There has been none so far.

Meh, $266 -> $50 might have been.  Wink

Some people are waking up.

we might dip lower b4 starting a sustainable rally that will start making new all time highs sooner then most would of thought. Wink

We should have a moment of silence and think of those who "buy all the way down to oblivion".
299  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: June 30, 2013, 07:32:16 PM
Look at how much time the price of BTC has spent under the 100 day moving average.... Then look at how much time it has spent at < 10% below that average. In my opinion by waiting to buy you are risking way too much. There are, let me say, "more then a handful" of people waiting for a very limited amount of coins at a "cheap" price.

Go on, mortgage your house and buy all those very limited coins.  Cheesy
300  Economy / Speculation / Re: What exactly is the bear case? (sincere question) on: June 30, 2013, 05:39:18 PM
To be fair, there's less than 2k BTCs available to short.
It's not what I would use to say "See, you can short!!"
