It is about time to leverage this infrastructure, but we find it very challenging to attract crypto users to NCE at this stage, because of low liquidity, volumes and limited coin selection. In addition, the same reasons makes it very difficult to become listed on CMC, and therefore, difficult to attract more communities to list with NCE. We think we found a great way to leverage what we have achieved so far and begin onboarding new customers, just different type, not crypto traders, but more traditional consumers. Here is what we are planning to do: We plan to build fully custody wallet service named "Wallet App" Basically, it will be simple-to-use web and mobile interface that is built on NCE backend infrastructure. The initial version will offer: 1. Login/Register with one of the currently available methods on NCE, like Gmail, Twitter and etc or your mobile phone number. 2. Send and receive crypto by email or by phone number. 3. Invite users by sending them coins to their email or phone number, even if they don't have wallet app account yet. 4. Free and instant transfers between wallet app users, for any coin listed on NCE! 5. "Change" button will allow users to convert any coin to any coin (this will create and fill market orders on NCE backend" 6. KYC/AML will only be required if user is depositing to wallet.app from outside the network, internal-only users will be able to use the service without KYC/AML (up to 1k EUR turnover) The longer term plan is to target business users - just imagine, you can send and accept micro payments in BTC (or any other coin) instantly, free and with total privacy - no one exposes their actual crypto addresses, neither payer nor receiver. Edwin [new.capital]: In symbol-based TWNS/FIX, anyone will be able to setup and operate a node, without a collateral, and users with be able to delegate their stake (harvest) coins to any node of their choice. There will be minimum staking amount configured, and maximum coin amount per node, to control the distribution. Every node will be able to setup their own fee, therefor to compete on stakers. Stakers on the other hand, will delegate not only their coins, but also their importance score to that node. This score is calculated by amount of transactions and other wallet activities. The nodes with higher importance score will more likely to win the block, therefore to increase the ROI for them selves and stakers. This is the whole new eco-system that motivates not only technical people to setup nodes, but also build and engage with the community around each node.  ThreatAcc: When will the Sim cards be sent to the rest of the community? It feels like no roadmap or milestones are been set and met. Will really appricate some insight on what is happening - not more designs or crate arriving to a dozen of members. maybe more i did not really count Edwin [new.capital]: I am not sure I understand what choice is ignored, could you please comment on that, @ThreatAcc ? While it is understandable that many are waiting for their SIMs to arrive, please understand that it takes time to burn the firmware, pack and ship over 7000 SIMs. The process is serial and lockdowns do not really help. In addition to this, we are facing some disturbing company issues that may lead to FIX management restructure. Nothing to worry, this is not changing our commitment, long-term goal nor direction, we just need you to be more patient. As published earlier, our plan for 2021 is: Distribute the Early Adopter FIX SIM cards. Fine tune the FIX ID solution with the help of our community. Start sending FIX ID cards to influencers and industry players. Onboard additional service providers to implement the FIX ID solution. Test the FIX ID app in a wide range of real-world use cases. Migrate to NEM's Symbol enterprise blockchain. Launch a ground-breaking and highly-anticipated product for FIX - a decentralized policy and DID number management solution. Initiate the FIX Hardware Button project. At this early stage it would be irresponsible to suggest any quantitative indicators as we simply do not know, but be sure that we do our best. |
