I actually changed it up to 9 man game this week. Not sure why people complaining about 6 max.

sorry buddy, no complaining though. Last Sunday was a bit weird because we were just 8 players, so 4 players on each table.
It makes the tournament pretty fast. I would like to spend more time with you playing poker, thats all  Kiss Kiss Kiss

Was ein verrückter Spieltag!

@NoobHere: How dare you to call my all-in after the flop with just 4 outs?  Grin
Again typical me that you have got your out, so the 3rd place was the maximum I could made in that situation.
Very interesting to have 4 guys with 13 points!

btw: I would also prefer to play again on 9 players table  Smiley

289  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: [Diskussion] - [WAVES]. Ultimative Crypto-Token Blockchain Plattform. on: November 20, 2020, 08:10:35 AM

Was chatting with Yahoo a bit last night, they are communicating with Betnomi to try and sort this out. I'm waiting for an update from them, and we'll all go from there. Either way we'll figure out a way to get the side pot sorted out. I'm headed to bed now so I'll catch up with everyone tonight, and also be around Saturday. So everyone who plans on playing just carry on as usual and expect this to kick off Sunday. More than enough time to come up with options if we need to.

I will deposit in BTC today on my account. I´m sure we will find a way for all EUR acc.
Can´t wait for Sunday :-)
293  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi Poker Series $1000 prize pool minimum on: November 13, 2020, 09:14:04 AM
When you were making your account there is a step when you are asked to choose USD or EUR. My choice was EUR. This will be PITA to solve. Couple of ideas but nothing that seems hassle free:
We could collect the money on two accounts - one for USD and one for EUR, and then do some shenanigans when the time comes to pay out the prices
We could make one currency as mandatory but that would mean all the people who have wrong currency have to do new accounts, probably against the rules at Betnomi but I guess old accounts can be deleted.
We pay the fees for all the tournaments in one BTC transaction.

I would be fine with paying the fee with BTC and someone is collecting. But I guess it will be too late now when we want to start on Sunday..

Quick question is there an option for people to switch between their displayed currency (USD/EUR). We are just trying to get everyone on the same page for being able to do buddy transfers in our Poker series that starts this weekend hopefully.
Side note anyone from the forum can join into this sponsored poker series come check it out.
Thanks again for sponsoring it @Betnomi.
Good question @Steamtyme. The buddy transfer is possible between users who have the same currencies. Ie, if a users is using USD as their currency, they can receive transfers from any other user using USD as their currency and same applies to all other currencies. As for changing/ switching between currencies, that is not possible at this time. The selected currency at the time of registration by the user remains their currency.

Steam asked about this matter in Betnomi offical thread and this is their answer! My selected currency is USD, I guess it goes like that automatic, I didn't choose anything in my registration, at least I don't remember I saw it! I don't know is it a stupid suggestion, but those extra fees and rewards can be in some alt with low transaction fee. There are many, for example I would be fine with ltc, trx, doge... maybe that would be nice!

Very interesting! My currency is EUR but I got never asked what kind of currency I want to choose. So I have no clue how to handle the buddy transfer..
Alts are not my favourite choice as I don´t want to handle those shitcoins

@Yahoo & Steam: We should find a solution in that case today if we really want to start on Sunday

I have sent in the tourney form, 6 max game since we have a low number of participants normally. 20000 starting stack 10 minute blinds $15 buyin
Sounds good to me.
Ok so I will deposit in BTC, but the betnomi site shows EUR to me. How can I transfer 5$ as buddy transfer?
(Sorry for my incompetent questions, I really appreciate ur help)

If you click on your "Avatar" -> Select my profile -> My Wallet , You will see the buddy transfer available there. I'm just looking on my phone but can't find a way to toggle between USD and EUR. I though it was possible whn I was on the poker client but am not able to check. I'll ask in their main thread about that.

I have found where I can check to confirm buddy transfers, but have yet to do one myself. Looks like people just need my username - Steamtyme - to send the 5 USD to me. If you can't switch between EUR and USD, I guess to the conversion using Google or Preev and send it. I will keep track to see if you over/underpaid. Hopefully it's an easy switch that I just can't find from my phone.

btw who is that "Undetermined"?
Anyway, I will transfer in BTC. If I cannot convert in USD, I will send in EUR and will use the actual exchange rate. Hope that is fine for you all...
Undetermined is the term I put for everything not settled yet. Steamtyme has volunteered, if you guys are ok with that?

Jesus I´m an idiot  Grin Grin I should get more sleep to get things straight...
Steamtyme would be fine for me :-)

I see my balance in USD - funnily it still shows me EUR in the same spot but shaded. I'm not positive but I think people can switch between the 2 after the accounts created.
I thought it only displayed in USD and EUR - Either way I think it allows users to switch between the 2, Next time I log in I'll check it out.

I deposited with bitcoin and it only show me balance in USD, i can't switch to BTC or EUR.

If you view the site especially the poker tournament without login, the buy in will most be showing in Euro but if you login into your account then it will be showing in Usd instead.

but I believe we should simplify this as much as possible. Even some of the "old" users will have a tough time keeping an eye to all the rewards/fees etc. It must look quite complicated to possible new participants, especially with balances shown in fiat.

I personally would go for 10k stacks, 200 Bigs and 8 minutes blind level but I think we wont reach any consensus at all and we cant please everyone so Yahoo should be the one taking final decision on this.

I agree 100%.
@ Yahoo: You got some recommendations, but please finalise the conditions by your own. I guess most people are fine with the idea to make the tournaments a bit "larger".
For sure it´s about having fun, so the distribution of the buddy transfers are not really important. Keep things simple!
I´m happy to play with you guys on Sunday - can´t wait for it  Cool

so is it not the best when we all deposit in BTC for paying the entry fee + Buddy Transfer in BTC too?

You can deposit/withdraw in crypto, but Betnomi site is working only with USD & EUR. Our only choice is to choose one of them as official for our group and continue in that direction.

Telegram link has been added, i'm also fine with you holding the money. The only issue is all players must be using same currencies as you. So in their profile they'll all have to be using BTC or USD, whatever you are using.
