281  Economy / Economics / Re: Does China plan to go communist? on: October 10, 2020, 07:39:32 AM
The whole Communist ideology of China is just a camouflage for a completely capitalist giant. It is profitable and convenient. In fact, from the "communism" that already existed there are some facts: really a one-party system, you can not say too much (including about Winnie the Pooh) and other censorship.
In fact, it will be technically difficult to build the "right" communism with so many people and having already tasted the beauty of capitalist relations. If China really wanted to build this, they wouldn't have turned off this path after the Cultural Revolution. But, as we can see, "something" went wrong and now it is quite a strong capitalistic state with a fairly free but still controlled market and some anachronisms (for historical and propaganda reasons).
Let's be honest, it is impossible to build a bright Communist society where it has already been tried.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Name really matter in crypto? on: October 10, 2020, 07:37:26 AM
Good question. You can name a project a "shitty coin" and be popular with this name it's not bad to take off, or you can be named like "the world's first truly decentralized system" and be left with nothing just because.
I'm not saying that the name doesn't matter but it's not always possible to predict how users will behave in relation to your token. Such a small roulette is no more. But, again, if you do not have the most presentable name but the project is described quite well and realistically and you have good advertising + there is a roadmap + there is a team on the site + etc then name of the project is not so important
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do You think about YFI ? on: October 10, 2020, 07:31:22 AM
All that can be said about YFI has long been said both on this forum and by the charts themselves.
If all cryptocurrencies and the market itself are often compared to a bubble, then your vaunted YFI is a 100% bubble in its most pristine form.
The main question is whether you will have time to get out of it so that you can earn money? If you have time, then of course invest and you will be able to get a good profit, but if you do not intend to look at the terminal continuously 24/7 and react to any wind blow, then it is not worth it. This is really a real casino, and as we know - the casino in any case remains the winner.
284  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Adoption: A Breakthrough? on: October 10, 2020, 07:28:01 AM
This is of course very good, beautiful and just wonderful - but no matter how much I love the cryptocurrency itself, I can notice its most important minus (if we consider tokens as an everyday means of payment).
The simplest and most hypertrophied example: in the morning you left the house with N coins on your beautiful crypto card, which is enough for lunch in a restaurant, a taxi train, a massage session, and a plane ticket, because tomorrow you are on vacation - and even for the entire vacation will remain. But there always may be strong dump with -20%/24hours

As long as there is such a fierce instability of the exchange rate, no one will seriously (except those involved and enthusiasts) use cryptocurrencies in everyday life.

Or you need to pay for prices in tokens directly, but then there is a problem of the number of tokens as such and multiple decimal point.
After all, there is no difference in concept if the cup of coffee 10 costs dollars or 0.0000001 of your favorite token.

Isn't that right?
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: October 10, 2020, 06:47:48 AM
You should always remember and never forget - the more effort is directed at fighting fraud, the more sophisticated methods of opposing you and conducting such a schemes will appear.
Even 10 years ago, people were led to "letters of happiness" more often than you go to the store. Do you think they're gone now? No, they just became much more cunning, smarter and more diverse.
Do not think that this can be won over a long distance and remember that a small victory over garbage today does not mean victory in the war against fraud forever.

100% agree! Fraud schemes evolve much faster that anti-fraud regulations do)) there will always be a lot of cheating in crypto sphere. We should be very careful about what we do and where we enclose our personal data.

The problem is not even in the speed of development, but in the classic rule "action creates reaction". And also in the fact that in our case, the reaction is always stronger than the action - hence we get that for one revealed and defeated dirty scheme, we get two new ones.
And even more interesting is that even total legalization is unlikely to help. On the contrary, it will open up space for even more cunning and insidious schemes that will already become quite a "relatively honest way" of taking money from the population.

287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: October 08, 2020, 06:24:23 AM
I would not say that this is something new. It is difficult to earn money always and everywhere, no matter what occupation you choose - the only difference is whether you love your business or not. If you like to engage in cryptocurrency and deal with it, then this is rather a profitable hobby (which is not worth relying on as your main income). And if cryptocurrencies are your only source of income and you are successful in it, then this is very good luck and I even envy such people.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I like to collect the token on: October 08, 2020, 06:22:38 AM
Why do you think that this is crazy? Not at all. If this is your hobby that makes your life better, then what other questions can there be? In addition, who knows how the market will turn tomorrow - so this is not just a hobby, but also a small opportunity not to miss one of the tickets to the moon.
People collect soda and beer lids, energy cans, stamps, watches, magnifying glasses, and anything else. There is nothing wrong with collecting like this because it is really quite a calming activity and an and you can be proud for your collection.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally!! McAfee is arrested in Spain and now facing extradition on: October 08, 2020, 06:20:07 AM
I don't really understand why you are so happy about it. Arrested, yes. And why you care about it? Or does John personally get your pants dirty while you sleep?
I don't understand why you dislike of McAfee in general, and I don't really understand why so many happy emotions there from the fact of his arrest. "John McAfee was arrested - again".

Some people are happy coz he got arrested because they lost money in the scam ICOs he promoted, that's all.
I also invested in SETHER but I am neither happy nor sad, simple I don't care anymore, the past is the past.

I think it's just envy of what they see from McAfee in the public field - a kind of grandfather's frenzy and all the other joys of a rich old age.
And as we know, envy is a serious sin, so as for me, you should not once again pay serious attention to the tricks of a mischievous old man and just be happy that such people are still alive (who know how to live).

Probably, some people just envy his luxury life. Some simply envy his achievements (or money). There are bunch of people that hate him for his antivirus software. Even though since Intel bought it in 2010, John should be no longer connected to it. But most hate him for his price predictions Smiley

What are the forecasts of the prices lol? What are you talking about? John is just a funny old man. Like your neighbor who tells how he fought in Vietnam and how they repaired the helicopter with girls tights? Everything that he does in the public field should be divided into two and perceived ironically and no more lol. I don't know, I love McAfee - one of the few people who is just nice and fun to watch. Well, he is also quite charismatic, which is quite a valuable quality.

292  Economy / Economics / Re: Waiters/Waitresses/bellboys etc just lost their jobs on: October 07, 2020, 05:19:28 AM
Given the level of service of some establishments and the attitude of the waiters to their work, I will only be happy with such a replacement. Constant rudeness, begging for tips for nothing and just not caring about their work - this is not what I expect when I come to a cafe or restaurant for lunch. I will be happy to go to a place where robots will serve everything. Not only will it be quite new and interesting, but at the same time I will not get negative feedback from hostesses and waiters who think too much about themselves.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The digital Yuan is almost a fact on: October 07, 2020, 05:15:50 AM
But this is still not a cryptocurrency, isnt it? There is a small difference between the usual money on your bank account. What's the difference between a digital yuan and a non-digital yuan if it's still covered by a thick and heavy tracking and centralization hood? So we can say that in 2020, the bigges share of money turnover is accounted for by "digital currencies" simply because people are not using cash as before

this is just an echo chamber
And what is the difference between telegram and all other sources of information? Anyway, collecting your pool of sites and sources, you will inevitably find yourself in the same echo chamber in which you will read that "BTC is about to go to the moon and you need to buy now!!».
It doesn't matter if it's a telegram, a paid subscription to specialized publications, or a quick look at pseudo - news from the conditional CNBC. All these are the same echo chambers just under a different sauce and no more.
295  Economy / Economics / Re: The 2nd generation of banking is going digital on: October 07, 2020, 05:08:52 AM
Except for some basic things (such as having a Central office and a mandatory license package) there are already quite successful projects of such banking. Have you heard about Tinkoff (a Bank in Russia)or revolut? They do not have offices for clients,  only ATMs. All communication with the Bank takes place over the phone/in the support chat, all products are delivered to customers by courier representatives.
And it's not just services for individuals - the same principle applies to legal entities, from opening an account to renting payment terminals for their point of sale.
As for me, Tinkoff is a very cool example of what banks should become if they want to continue to be competitive.

I hope 2nd generation of banks accept all the cryptocurrencies and online payment gateways.
Many people consider cryptocurrency as a scam but if banks support it then people will start believing it plus the chances of getting scam will be reduced.
I trust the forthcoming occasion of banks develop itself enough that individuals get involved with digital money.

As for me, this is not how it works. To accept payments and enable operations in cryptocurrencies, the desire of banks and people is not enough. You can't just take and start spinning conditional BTC on your accounts just because the whole progressive and cool Bank 2.0.
Bank needs licensing for this, confirmation of the possibility of conducting such activities from regulatory authorities, and so on and so forth.
If this happens, then initially (as for me) it will be their own pilot-level projects to create their own small cryptocurrency and use it to attract people via cashback in cryptocurrency, a discount for paying it somewhere, and so on, but it will still be strictly tied to fiat and there will not be so big volatility
296  Economy / Economics / Re: "Humans will not be replaced by robots very soon" --- yeah right !!! on: October 03, 2020, 11:26:08 AM
So is that a bad thing? Robots can replace heavy, monotonous, low - skilled or dangerous professions-movers, welders, work in the melting factory, and so on. What's wrong with that? Is it a bad thing that people will have to do less and less hard low-paid work? This is much more positive than not. Yes, at first there may be problems with the rise in unemployment and other things, but robots also need to be designed, assembled, repaired, maintained, monitored, and prepared for these robots workspaces.
The problem of unemployment here will be the first time before the transition from one labor formation to another (as well as during the industrial revolution) ends, after which everything will return to normal. Remind me where are luddites now who shouted that machines would replace man and the hard workers would have nothing to eat?
297  Economy / Economics / Re: economic loan new money and covid 19 i want fast on: October 03, 2020, 11:24:56 AM
Where does the new money come from? Does the printer do brrr? Well, great, according to this scheme, then maybe there will be just tons of tons of new money, and so what? What is the point of this artificial inflating of the already inflated to the limit of the Fiat bubble? A loan for a loan to pay off another loan to "live normally" is a very strange way out, don't you think?
There is a friend of mine who lives in that kind of world,He was a Businessman in which the capital comes from a Loaning agency, the problem is He don't know how to manage the income properly so what happens?
he needs to go to another loan company to borrow money to pay the first lender, and this happens in the next and the other one.
Now His business is only running from loans and loans and this is a BS life.
never borrow money to pay the loan because
you only making the situation harder, better talk to the lender that you will have to cut the interest because you will never grow if
things stay that way.
Anyway I never ask for loan because of this pandemic,i rather shorter my budget than look for loans that i cannot assure how to pay.

The question here is not even that everyone around lives in loans, leasing and other types of liabilities - but in the scheme "take a loan to pay the loan." That's scheme what gradually kills us and others, not the fact that credit products exist as such.
298  Economy / Economics / Re: FOLLOW THIS RULES TO BECOME RICH on: October 03, 2020, 11:10:53 AM
Exactly. All these thousands of rules "how to get rich" and "think rich" are actually total profonation and the most bleak stories that you should end up being something between an exchange broker and a Zen Buddhist, and that's when you'll definitely get rich.

I don't understand why people still believe in all these rules - because if there was a 100% method of "becoming rich," there would certainly be no poor. But somehow it didn't come together as we can see.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Cryptospace is getting Worst on: October 02, 2020, 05:55:42 AM
I thought this behavior was pretty obvious, didn't I? Only a tiny part of the crypto community cares about the crypto world and wants to use tokens as a settlement tool. The rest of us (including myself) are just a bunch of speculators and lovers of quick profit no more. What's the difference between a shit coin or not if you can use it to raise a couple of hundred bucks here and now just on the exchange rate difference?
300  Other / Off-topic / Re: is this Patek Philippe Expensive or Cheap ? on: October 02, 2020, 05:47:19 AM
It looks like the dream of a Gypsy Baroque lover, don't you think? There are much more less expensive but more pleasant-looking watches. Sometimes I just don't understand people who want to buy things solely because they belong to the brand and express this reason as the only reason to buy. What for? For what?
