Tokens are flowing... Hopefully distribution is over soon then SJCX to STORJ swap should be next.

Why a lot of people are hopeful for BCY? There's news? Which are? The last time I was informed, I knew there would be a reduction in supply, has this already happened? Every month there is a reduction in supply following the burning of BCY. There are burn reports shared on this thread each month.

After the Ethereum based SJCX token is released on June 22, is there any exchange that will be trading these tokens?
Current exchanges are Bittrex, Polo and ShapeShift, so they should all be listing the new coin hopefully.

So long as Bitmain's shitcoin is not named Bitcoin they can and should mine it, put all their miners on it and leave them there.
Good thing is if the hashrate drops a bit, or quite a bit, we'll all have a chance to mine ourselves. So long as it doesn't upset network stability that much we should be fine.
Mining has become impossible for most people, last time I mined (mostly for fun and to learn more about it) was with Butterfly Labs (yes I did get mine, eventually), Bit Burners, and USB Erupters LOL Soon after that it became too costly for small players like me to have a go.
One thing I'd like is transactions to be less expensive and Bitcoin to attract more users should really be inexpensive to use.
Let's see how things pan out...

That's why I am saying. I see it takes time, for whatever reason and not the point now, for the exchange and storj to get them listed. I imagine for delist would take some time too, and might be funny to see if people are willing to leave the old asset behind, unsupported as it is, and only on what value remains. I reckon that old coin would get really rare.
It could get rare yes, but then anyone can setup a token on Counterparty and make 1 coin. For the token to have value there needs to be something useful behind it. For the exchanges I think at one point, once the Token contract is released it's up to them to list it when they are ready and when they do they will delist SJCX as there is no point for them to have to mange two tokens for the same thing. Also I believe exchanges will also have to swap their SJCX to STORJ like anyone else, so if they stick to SJCX they may lose on the momentum the new token may have when listed. I have a feeling SJCX will be frozen on exchanges at one point and allow users to withdraw. Or there may be a chance they will swap 1:1 on the exchanges themselves but not sure how it will work and if feasible because tokens need to swapped through a web app, send old tokens get new tokens, old tokens get burned. We can only wait and see. Would become same as bitcoin . What use does bitcoin have after all... Is just one rare coin. In this regard, storj does have real use. I agree with Storj has a real use. However I also believe Bitcoin is the best store of value, no other coin matches it from that perspective.

Any update on the tokens release and conversion tool ?
I heard distribution should be within 4 weeks of the sale or sooner and Swap will be after that at some point. Why would it take such a long time? And there is little activity of devs here recently. When you have 30 million USD worth of tokens to distribute you need to be sure they go to the right people. I heard many people didn't read the instructions before purchasing so they have a lot of support requests. Not sure why it's taking so long but in the terms of sale it reads distribution will happen within 4 weeks of the sale end, and we are still within that timeframe. I guess the team is busy with the token sale right now.

How it goes with record keeping with Factom. Is there any real use case?
What you mean? There's plenty real use cases and companies that are working with Factom. Two examples: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and The Bill and Melissa Gates Foundation. I believe there are more, just check their website and blog.

Anyone participating in his auction is supporting his action of keeping lauda in DT which seriously everyone knows is wrong.
- Blazed keeps Lauda a known extortionist in his trust network and not just that even after so many complaints blazed hasn't reacted yet, which makes it damn sure that blazed is involved.
Guys dont bid in this auction because doing so supports blazed who funds and supports a scammer LAUDA
This is not an auction, the price is set so people can buy directly. Nice coin BTW. If you have an issue with a forum member take it with him/her directly, it is bad practice to go and spread FUD on unrelated people's threads. Blazed is a very trustworthy member of this forum. And everyone knows that.

Congrats to the winner! One rare coin and possibly one of the few redeemed ones. You don't get to see one of these every day.
However if the BTC price keeps going up, you never know...

The older coin won't disappear completely? I think if the incentive is there, people would migrate to new coin. Did I read news that the old coin would disappear... I think it is possible that the exchange would keep it and not delist it. Interesting.
The old token will be replaced by the new token no point for exchanges to keep it listed.

I tend to agree, Burst was really easy to use. Storj is not hard either if using the Storj Share GUI.
